Chapter 93: Dual ability

’Crack! Rumble...’

"Just how strong is he?" Kyle barely muttered, struggling to stand as gushes of wind blew against his skin pushing him back. He could see falcon was also struggling against this terrifying force, as the skies were now dark.

Multiple huge crack lines could be seen running across the ground going up to the stadium walls, causing huge chunks of blocks to fall off destroying whatsoever was in it’s path. The once beautiful and sturdy stadium was now a complete mess, as half of it had been destroyed just from Troy’s powerful outburst of his aura.

"T-this power.. only a miracle can save us now." Ona barely mumbled, panting heavily from Troy’s dominating aura. There was a terror filled look in her eyes seeing Troy, and a deep sadness in her heart fearing for what was about to become of falcon and Kyle.

After about almost a minute, Troy’s dominating aura descended to the point where Kyle and falcon could now properly breathe and feel their bodies. Looking ahead, they could see Troy with a smug smile on his face staring at them.

"You know you don’t have to help me, I can do this on my own." Kyle softly said gritting his teeth.

"If you think I’ll let you have all the fun then your more crazier than I am." Falcon chuckled a bit, but Kyle could sense a hint of worry in her voice.

"And besides.. we have a wedding to plan." Falcon uttered, causing Kyle to roll his eyes. He didn’t know how falcon could still be this mischievous in a situation like this, but he didn’t mind. Infact he enjoyed her little tease, as it kept his head in an optimistic state.

"Alright then. Let’s have his head for a wedding gift." Kyle said with a sadistic smile, making falcon giggle a bit. Nodding, they both moved with great speed heading straight for Troy, pushing up dust and derbies as they moved.

"You just don’t know when to die do you." Troy muttered in a low ominous tone, his fists clenched. Pushing his left leg back he crouched down a bit. The ground around his feet cracked, sinking down a bit as the air around him swirled.

’Bam!’ A small explosion occured from where Troy once stood, as his body moved with great speed like a jet. He’d reached Kyle and falcon location in no less than a second.



Using the momentum, he punched falcon’s chest but Kyle blocked with his katana, grabbing his arms firmly holding onto them.

"Acid shot!" Falcon shouted seeing an opportunity. Stretching her palm green poison immediately formed, spiralling fiercely. Without hesitation, she shot the spiralling ball of acid to Troy.

’Boom! Sizzle.. sizzle..’ the attack hit, causing a small explosion as Troy was forcefully sent back. The poison kept melting his cloth and robe, forcing him to take them off.

"Impressive, your acid actually managed to disintegrate my cloth." Troy smiled, but falcon knew it wasn’t a complement at all.

"I really liked that garment.. now you’ve really pissed me off." Within the blink of an eye Troy appeared in front of falcon, his fist sent to her head. Falcon couldn’t react on time seeing the attack, as she braced herself for the hit.

’Bam!’ A gunshot sound erupted as Troy’s fist hit falcon’s head, sending her crashing into a huge chunk of wall. Enraged Kyle sped to Troy, firing off balls of dark flames to the latter.

Dodging, Troy simply clicked his finger as four air arrows formed in front, spinning rapidly. The next moment they shot out with great speed for Kyle.

’Shit.’ Seeing the attack Kyle tried dodging, but he could only avoid one as the other three connected with him. Piercing through his skin, drawing out blood. Gritting his teeth, Kyle fired off lines of blizzard to Troy who dodged firing more air arrows to him.

For every hit from Troy’s air arrows took away 3 of Kyle’s health point, pushing him back. Pain was constantly coursing through his entire system, but he couldn’t afford to give up now.

[Shadow walk.]

Using shadow walk his body became a shadowy figure, but he didn’t sink to the ground like usually. Instead he ran at the multiple air arrows heading for him, as they simply passed through his body.

’I hate that skill..’ Troy frowned seeing Kyle run through his attacks. It was a tricky and annoying skill which Kyle possessed, and this pissed him off the more.

’How did he get his hands on such a unique skill anyways?’ Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought as he evaded all of Kyle’s attacks leaping back. The golden sword sheated around his waist glowed brightly, vibrating with power as troy moved.

"Calm down saint, not now." Troy lightly tapped the sword which glowed a bit in response.

’Boom! boom! boom.’ Falcon had regained herself as she rejoined the fight, shooting of multiple poison darts. She’d also formed multiple whips and weapons of all sorts, swinging them at troy.

He dodged the whips, even punching them back with his fist at a price. Every time his skin came in contact with falcon whips it would make a sizzle sound, which then led to a burn mark. Though he didn’t mind, he still had to worry about the many weapons formed from poison falcon created.

"Two against one, now that not fair." He chuckled, evading a poison sword descending for his head. The sword then exploded upon impact, releasing multiple small poison shards aimed at troy.

’Mhm.’ He grunted sharply, feeling the dozens of poison shards against his skin burning it. It felt like a thousand electrons were coursing throughout his body, stinging him.

’How is his skin not melting?’ Falcon was a bit stunned, seeing troy’s skin didn’t melt like expected. Usually when one’s hide came in contact with acid it would definitely melt, except you had some sort of terrifying equipment to block the damage.

Shaking her head she regained composure, slashing both her poison whips at troy still firing off multiple poison weapons.

"Enough of this charades!" Troy shouted, having enough of the games.

"Piercing tornado!" The air around Kyle and falcon changed, but before they could react they were sent up in the air by a great gush of wind. Beneath their feet air quickly spiralled, forming a tornado reaching 10 feets high entrapping them.

"I-i can’t breathe." They couldn’t move their body in the tornado, as the piercing wind blew against their skin peeling it off. And to make matters worse, the air was being sucked out from their lungs disabling their breathing.

"Sadly this is where I say goodbye." Troy said, walking away with a hint of sadness in his tone. He was confident in his piercing tornado skill, as he deemed the duo finished.

Back in the tornado, Kyle and falcon were struggling to keep awake as their flesh was being peeled from them. They could see pieces of their flesh and blood spinning with the wind, and it wouldn’t be long before they were dead.

’Huh?’ Kyle saw falcon’s poison whips wrap around his arm. he was surprised how she managed to counter the wind movement, but he didn’t dwell on that. Nodding, he understood what she meant as he braced himself.



The whip glowed a bright green as it gripped Kyle’s arm. twisting her body, falcon moved in sync with the wind as she forcefully threw Kyle out from the tornado.

"Troy!" Kyle yelled, anger burning in his eyes as his eyes locked on with his target.

"Huh?" The latter was a bit shocked seeing Kyle come out from his death trap. Rage brimmed in his eyes as he formed dozens of lines of air, shooting them at Kyle.

Gripping his katana Kyle rapidly slashed the lines of air dispersing them, whilst sending out blizzard of his own midair.

’Boom!’ He crashed to the ground creating a crater, but he couldn’t afford to stop as more lines of air headed for him. Running, he activated shadow walk swinging his sword while shooting out dark flames from his palm.

’I-i just have to get close, hold on falcon.’ Gritting his teeth he stomped the floor hard, shooting his body upwards as he swung his katana below at troy. His eyes were glowing red, as all the veins in his body could be seen bulging.

"Wind bullets." Troy commanded, as multiple air bullets formed spinning rapidly. Without thinking twice, he sent them to Kyle conjuring up more.

Stretching his hand, Kyle activated mana steal in attempt to steal troy’s mana but nothing happened. He couldn’t feel the connection he felt like before, which made his heart ache.

"Haha! impressive right.. you’re not the only one with a few trick up their sleeves." Troy grinned seeing Kyle’s attempt fail.

"I will still have your head!" Kyle roared still charging forward. The reason he’d tried stealing Troy’s mana was because of the system message, warning him of his low Mana points.

[Mana points has been exhausted!]

[Automatically deactivating shadow walk.]

Kyle’s body slowly reverted into its usually self, as he’d exhausted his Mana. Though he wasn’t fazed, because he still had more cards to play if need be.

"Seems like you’ve run out of luck boy." Troy grinned, seeing the shadows fade away from Kyle’s body. Air gathered around both his arms within the blink of an eye, forming an air drill.

Shooting himself Troy collided with Kyle in the center, skillfully slashing the drills at him. Kyle was careful to block, as he could feel the power emitting from the drill.

’Bang! bang!’ Kyle whinced in pain, feeling multiple objects pierce his skin from behind.

"Don’t forget I can use my wind skill to my pleasure boy." Troy grinned, taking advantage of that slight delay stabbing Kyle’s heart with his air drill.

[Critical hit!]

Blood seeped down Kyle’s lips as the grip on his katana loosened, causing it to fall to the floor. His body was lifted a bit in the air by Troy, his air drill still stuck in his chest.

"Any last words boy?" Troy softly asked, his free hand inches away from Kyle’s head.

"You don’t deserve Lumia." Kyle softly uttered making troy’s eye go wide, his brows contorting into a deep frown.

"Keep my daughter’s-" Troy was cut short in his words sensing something. Out from Kyle’s palm shot a tennis sized dark ball, straight to his chest flinging him back.

’What is this.’ Troy thought, surprised that attack had managed to cause this much damage to him. His impenetrable skin had now been penetrated, as a fist sized hole formed on his chest. Multiple dark chains potruded from the ground, clinging tight to his skin drawing out blood.

Not stopping Kyle shot out more death’s call at troy, reinforcing the chains and draining his life force. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and he wasn’t going to let it slide by.

’I-it worked.’ Kyle saw the tornado had finally dispersed, releasing falcon to the floor. He could hear her breathing was ragged, and her condition was in a bad state.

Clutching the katana tightly in his hand Kyle stomped the floor, propelling himself like a bullet. He’d closed the gap between him and Troy in an instant, as he slashed at the latters head.

"Not so fast."

’Boom!!’ An explosion occured, forming a huge crater sending Kyle flying backwards crashing into a stadium pillar. Blood could be seen flowing from his ears, nose and mouth.

Kyle’s vision was hazy as he stumbled on his wobbly feet. He didn’t know what hit him, but he’d guessed it was probably a skill from Troy.

"T-that force.. what is it?" He softly muttered.

"It was like the explosion was directed at me." Kyle didn’t know how to explain it, but it felt like as if the force from an explosion collided with his body. It was weird, but that strange attack had inflicted tremendous damage to his body which was now numb.

’Boom!’ The strange explosion occured again, only this time it was where Troy was. Looking, Kyle could see a figure emerge from the dust with a horrific body.

"You’re not the only one with dual abilities!" Troy screamed, unsheathing the golden sword from it’s bondage.
