50: Chapter 50 Destination: North Sea

Chen Mo returned home, and the sky had already cleared.

Over the past day or so, he had gone through the steps he had envisioned: watching the live stream, tracking Cheng Jian, delivering the manual, and then confirming.

Cheng Jian had already started practicing the Human Breathing Method.

This matter could finally be crossed off his to-do list.

Chen Mo summoned his system panel.

A dark gray translucent interface unfolded in front of his eyes.

[Name: Chen Mo]

[Age: 22]

[Height: 185cm]

[Weight: 139kg]

[Ability: Infinite Growth]

[Strength: 5144kg]

[Mental Power: 4.8]

[Force Multiplier: 4.0x]

It had been exactly thirteen days since he returned from the Shennong Mountain Range.

His punching power had increased from 4347kg to 5144kg, an increase of less than 800kg.

On average, he was improving by less than 60kg per day.

His Mental Power had increased from 4.6 to 4.8.

The biggest improvement was in his Force Multiplier, which had increased from 3.7x to 4.0x, relying on the Basic Muscle Tension Control Method training he gritted his teeth to do every day, as well as the precise polishing of his muscle control while in the state of Unity of Spirit and Flesh.

But overall, the speed was too slow.

Chen Mo knew very clearly that there was only one most important thing: to become stronger.

Thirteen days ago in the Shennongjia Deep Pool, he could increase his strength by 80kg every day.

Now it had dropped to 60.

He needed stronger external pressure.

The best pressure right now was water pressure.

He picked up his phone and started searching.

The world's deepest lake, there was only one answer: Beier Lake.

In ancient times, it was called the "North Sea" by the Xia Kingdom.

The deepest part exceeded 1600 meters.

The lake basin was formed by crustal fractures, and both shores were mostly steep cliffs.

Especially on the largest island in the lake, Olkhon Island, at its northernmost point, Cape Khoboy, there were vertical cliffs nearly 100 meters high, with deep water areas right below the cliffs, a place rarely visited by anyone.

What did a water depth of 1600 meters mean? For every ten meters he dove, the pressure increased by about 0.1 MPa.

At a depth of 100 meters, the pressure exerted on every square centimeter exceeded 10kg.

Under that kind of pressure, the human body, every inch of skin, and every muscle fiber would be compressed from all directions; it was a natural full-body resistance training device, more uniform and thorough than any equipment in a gym.

With his current basic punching power of five tons, 4x Force Multiplier, and the density of his entire musculoskeletal system enhanced by Spiritual Qi, he could easily dive more than 2000 meters.

This plan was feasible.

But problems also arose.

Supplies.

High-intensity training required the consumption of massive amounts of calories.

During his thirty days of seclusion in Shennongjia, he brought oil and sugar equivalent to 1.5 million calories.

Now that his body weight was greater and his training intensity higher, his average daily consumption was at least 40,000 to 50,000 calories.

Even with spirit energy particles replenishing a portion of the consumption, the demand for food was still there.

Oil and sugar were the optimal solution; they had high caloric density, took up little volume, and did not require refrigeration.

One hundred kilograms of oil was about 900,000 calories, and with white sugar added, the total calories could be brought to over 1.5 million, basically enough to cover the needs of a month of seclusion.

But how to transport it there?

Beier Lake was abroad, crossing the entire Russia border, with a straight-line distance of over 2000 kilometers.

It was impossible for him to carry all the supplies on his body at once and walk there like last time.

He could only figure it out after arriving in Russia.

He went over the route in his mind.

Take the high-speed rail from Yi City to Jing City, transfer to a train to Jin City, and then switch to an international train to Erenhot.

After leaving the border, he would hike across the Mongolia border, head northeast all the way, pass through Sükhbaatar on the Mongolia-Russia border, and enter Russia.

Find a city in Russia, get a car with cash, drive it to Irkutsk himself, then follow the lake shore northward, and finally arrive at Olkhon Island, Cape Khoboy.

Within three days.

Chen Mo organized the route map in his phone's memo.

He prepared to bring a tent; once he arrived at Cape Khoboy, he would directly find a natural cave on the cliff to live in.

The backpack would mainly contain what he needed to eat on the road, and he would purchase the oil and sugar after arriving in Russia.

The segment from Yi City to Erenhot was all public transport; carrying a bunch of barrels of oil would be too conspicuous and wouldn't pass security.

Cash also needed to be prepared.

After arriving in Russia, his mobile payments wouldn't work, and bank cards were even less usable; any electronic transaction would leave a record of his itinerary.

He had to exchange enough Ruble cash in advance; buying a car, refueling, and purchasing supplies would all be handled with cash.

Chen Mo opened the door to the storage room of the old house and dragged out an iron box from the corner.

Inside were the cash red envelopes his uncle had given him intermittently over the years; he rarely spent cash usually, and he had saved up tens of thousands, which was enough.

He closed the iron box and started packing his luggage.

The phone was the same one, but he didn't bring a power bank; once he reached Cape Khoboy, there would be no signal or power source, and the phone's only purpose was to be used as a map on the way.

He would turn it off once he reached his destination.

What was truly important was training.

Chen Mo didn't have many things; a backpack could hold everything.

After packing, Chen Mo walked to the window, his gaze crossing those tree shadows, looking toward the north.

North Sea.

More than two thousand years ago, Su Wu herded sheep there.

Now he was going there for greater pressure and faster growth.

When would he return?

That depended on the changes in the world and whether the things he needed appeared.

Chen Mo booked his tickets on his phone and confirmed the itinerary again.

As for why he didn't choose to go to the ocean.

It wasn't that he hadn't thought about it.

The deepest training ground on the Earth's surface was on the seabed; the deepest trench exceeded 10,000 meters, where the water pressure could easily crush steel into scrap metal.

But his current location was too far from the deep sea; the continental shelf extended for hundreds of kilometers as shallow sea, and to reach a true deep-water high-pressure zone, he would either have to take a boat out to sea for ten days or a half-month, or wait for the supply system on the ocean surface to be established.

He couldn't do either of these at the moment.

Moreover, at locations that were too deep, the time spent ascending and diving was longer, and the depth of Beier Lake was currently sufficient.

More importantly, the concentration of Spiritual Qi was still too low, and the spirit energy particles could not cover the consumption of his daily super-limit training.

Not until the day when the coverage rate of Spiritual Qi continued to increase and the dissipated concentration rose to a level where it could fully cover the recovery consumption, would the deep sea become the best option.

Before that, he would still choose a suitable location to continue becoming stronger.
