90: Chapter 90 Source Body

In that instant, Chen Mo's body began to glow.

A pale golden light bloomed from within his body.

From the depths of every cell—muscle cells, bone cells, nerve cells, blood cells—the light of Source Power surged within them all.

That light permeated outward from the nuclei, overflowed from the cell membranes, layered upon itself, and finally broke through the surface of his skin, appearing like a miniature sun ten thousand meters in the sky.

Chen Mo felt the changes occurring within his body.

The Source Power within every cell was surging.

This Source Power was no longer energy independent of his body, but an integral part of the cells themselves.

Muscles were no longer mere muscles; they were muscles composed of Source Power.

Bones were no longer mere bones; they were bones composed of Source Power.

Blood rushed through his vessels, every drop containing Source Power concentrated to the extreme.

The Source Power throughout his entire body connected into one entity.

From the top of his head to the soles of his feet, from his skin to his internal organs, from his bones to his blood, all dispersed Source Power was connected at this moment, forming a seamless network.

Every cell was a node on this network, with Source Power flowing freely within it, without any obstruction.

Chen Mo slightly raised his right hand.

The movement was very light, very slow.

Yet, with every gesture, an immense power naturally exuded.

The air around his palm distorted slightly, causing irregular refraction as light passed through.

That was not power he had deliberately released; merely the aura naturally emanating from his body had already caused visible disturbances in the surrounding space.

He slowly clenched his fist.

The air in his palm was directly crushed, emitting a dull, low hum.

Chen Mo felt the power filling his entire body.

At this moment, he completely understood.

The so-called Source Power martial arts were not about using Source Power to enhance the body, but about mastering the body such that it is Source Power itself.

There was no need for the action of "Fusion," because it had never been separated from the very beginning.

The body is Source Power.

Source Power is the body.

Chen Mo named this state—Source Body.

Meanwhile, another thought emerged.

He recalled the method of Source Power activation he had previously developed to enhance his body.

That was a crude method of forcing Source Power out of the body, like pressurizing and spraying water from a hose; it was effective, but primitive.

Looking back now, that method was actually the prototype of the Source Body.

An incomplete state of activation he had explored based on intuition before he understood its essence.

That should have been the activation of the Source Body.

It was just that at the time, he did not yet know what he was touching.

Chen Mo took a deep breath.

The true power of the Source Power Realm only began to reveal itself from this moment.

He raised his right arm.

No gathering of power, no special breathing rhythm, no complex chain of force transmission.

Just a punch, aimed at the sky directly ahead.

His foot stomped against the Void Realm, the Force Field automatically spread out, providing a support platform for reaction force.

Power was transmitted from his lower leg to his thigh, from the rotation of his waist and hips to his spine, and from his shoulder blades to his arm.

This was not ordinary exertion of force.

In the Source Body state, every muscle involved in exerting force was no longer a mere muscle.

They were containers of Source Power, conductors of Source Power, and Source Power itself.

From his foot to his fist, this transmission chain, under the enhancement of the Source Body, was both the transmission of force and the aggregation of Source Power.

With a punch thrown, a majestic golden light surged from his fist, spreading forward.

It was not an explosion, not a penetration.

It was a tearing.

The massive cumulonimbus clouds originally stationary tens of kilometers away, a gray-white wall of clouds stretching like a mountain range, were torn directly in two before this punch.

The break in the torn clouds was as smooth as if cut by a knife, and the exposed sky was a deep blue.

Sunlight poured down through the gap, casting a band of light dozens of kilometers long onto the ground below.

The shockwave was still pushing outward.

The torn edges of the clouds rolled outward continuously, spreading like waves.

The residual energy pushed the air, forming layer after layer of shockwaves that diminished from the inside out, pushing away, crushing, and evaporating the clouds further away.

Minutes later, with Chen Mo as the starting point, the clouds in front had completely vanished.

Above his head was a sky so blue it was transparent, with sunlight falling down without obstruction.

Clear sky.

Chen Mo retracted his fist.

He looked at his glowing knuckles.

The feedback of the force was transmitted back from his fist bones; in the Source Body state, this feedback was not the reaction force after an impact.

Rather, it was the natural extension of his own energy in space; not a single thread of the released Source Power was wasted.

Unlike Source Power spheres that relied on high temperature and shockwaves to destroy an area, and unlike Source Power rays that relied on extreme penetration to pierce a single point.

Attacks in the Source Body state were a unified release of bodily kinetic energy and Source Power energy, with every ounce of force hitting exactly where it needed to.

This kind of power was what was suitable for combat in the starry sky.

In the Universe, there was no air, no medium.

Pure energy attacks, like the previous Source Power spheres, would rapidly decay in a vacuum; shockwaves would not exist, and while thermal radiation was effective, its weaponization efficiency was extremely low.

Pure physical strength also required contact with a target entity to cause damage, and the starry sky was too vast; opportunities for contact were not always available.

But attacks in the Source Body state were different.

Its power did not rely on the transmission of an external medium, but on the surging thrust of Source Power itself.

Even in an absolute vacuum, this power could still press forward without any loss, because it did not need a medium; it was the medium itself.

This was the true combat style of the Source Power Realm.

And those previous methods, condensing light spheres for bombardment, Source Power rays for penetration.

Were all just shallow explorations of this stage.

It was like a person who had just learned to light a fire, knowing only how to burn things with a torch, not yet having learned to forge, smelt, or quench.

It was not that the fire was not strong enough, but that the way of using the fire was too crude.

He had only just pushed open the door to true mastery.

Chen Mo stood in the sunlight ten thousand meters high, feeling the changes brought about by every Breakthrough.

This feeling was the true meaning of Cultivate.

Every time one pushed open a new door, every time one saw a new path clearly.

Every time one discovered that what one thought was an "arrival" was actually just another "beginning."

This process of constantly growing stronger while expanding one's horizons was the driving force that kept him going.

He raised his head and looked toward the deeper firmament above.

Beyond the firmament lay boundless darkness.

In that darkness, there were no boundaries, no signposts, and no end.

The Universe was still vast, and the road beneath his feet was still long.

Would the so-called Source Power Realm be the end?

The corners of Chen Mo's mouth moved ever so slightly.

Of course not.

This was merely a small threshold on the path of Cultivate.

Step over it, and continue moving forward.

Ahead lay countless unknowns, countless Realms, and countless thresholds, waiting for him to discover and Breakthrough.

And on this path, there was only him, and him alone.

Chen Mo retracted the pale golden light of the Source Body, returning to his normal state, and began to recover his Source Power.

And just at this moment, his Mental Perception detected a subtle change.

The concentration of Spiritual Qi had already reached forty times what it was when it first appeared.

Chen Mo sensed that some kind of crisis was approaching.
