212: Little brother, I'll help you beat the game.

Feng Ming didn't know exactly what Lu Qianqian's situation was after she entered the Lingxiao Pagoda, but judging from the System prompts, she probably missed him.

It made sense when he thought about it; eight months had passed. Every day inside was spent clearing levels and to Cultivate, with no one to talk to and no family to see.

Moreover, the girl had a knot in her heart; she probably thought he had married her sister and forgotten about her.

She really was a classic case of acting tough while her heart said otherwise.

Clearly she liked him, yet she still had so many concerns.

Feng Ming was also quite helpless regarding this.

Just as he finished his thought, the System's voice rang out again.

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host for successfully spoiling his wife. Lu Qianqian's favorability has increased to 90%!]

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host for obtaining a System reward: The Inverting Dragon and Phoenix Art has been increased to 28 times; obtained one Late Stage heaven grade Physique transformation material.]

Feng Ming was stunned.

"What exactly is this girl doing? Does she really miss me that much?"

"Wait, no, for her favorability to increase this much, could she be crying from feeling wronged inside?"

Other than that, Feng Ming couldn't think of any other possibility.

At this thought, Feng Ming headed straight for the Sect Master's residence.

When Feng Ming explained his intention, the Sect Master laughed heartily.

"Actually, even if you hadn't come to find me, I was planning to arrange for you to call them out."

"There are only twenty days left until the Trial, and ten of those will be needed for travel. It is indeed time for them to come out."

"However, there is one thing I must warn you about, and that is not to have a conflict with Huangfu Rui. I won't care about what happens later, but within the Sect, there must be no internal strife."

Feng Ming nodded.

The Sect Master had treated him well enough, and since he had put it that way, Feng Ming still had to give him some Face.

Feng Ming entered the Lingxiao Pagoda again. The previous passages had all been closed, and now there were only three passages left.

This meant that Feng Ming would have to make at least three trips.

Fortunately, he didn't need to clear the levels again; the levels he had already passed no longer had a Guardian.

Feng Ming proceeded without any obstacles. It was only at the eightieth level that he saw someone clearing the Trial. Feng Ming didn't know him, only that his name was Guan Rong.

"Is that Senior Brother Guan Rong?"

The person inside was momentarily stunned when he saw Feng Ming. "Junior Brother Feng?"

"Is the Trial about to begin?"

Guan Rong was no fool; seeing someone come to call for him, it had to be for that reason.

Feng Ming nodded and relayed the Sect Master's words.

Guan Rong nodded, his expression calm, though his tone carried a hint of regret.

"Time is still too short; I simply cannot get past this eightieth level."

"I'll choose to give up now and go out with you."

Feng Ming waved his hand. "There's no need for such trouble. It won't take much time to clear it."

After all, there weren't many levels left. If they gave up, they'd still have to wait for the timer; Feng Ming found it troublesome.

"Clear it?" Guan Rong gave a helpless smile. "If I could clear it, why would I have wasted so much time?"

Feng Ming didn't explain. With a wave of his hand, he neatly arranged all the leaves scattered across the sky.

The next second, the sound of clearing the level echoed through the space.

"Senior Brother, let's go."

Feng Ming called out. Guan Rong was still a bit dazed, but he nodded and was the first to enter the vortex.

Feng Ming thought he would have to follow him in, but to his surprise, as soon as Guan Rong entered, he was teleported to the next level.

This made things even easier for Feng Ming. He told Guan Rong to handle entering the portals while he took care of the Guardian.

The scene that followed was Guan Rong entering the portals in a daze.

Meanwhile, Feng Ming was insta-killing people with a lift of his hand, clearing levels in the blink of an eye.

Feng Ming's speed was so fast that Guan Rong couldn't react at all; the whole process was just him numbly walking to the next level.

It was so fast it was like switching scenes in a movie.

By the time they walked out from inside, only a few minutes had passed.

Guan Rong was both dazed and numb, devoid of any expression or reaction.

He had struggled for so long at the eightieth level without being able to pass, yet Feng Ming had led him through all the levels in just a few minutes.

Was this normal? Was it reasonable?

Was this guy even human?

Feng Ming didn't think much of it.

After greeting Guan Rong, he entered the Lingxiao Pagoda again. With his previous experience, his speed was even faster this time.

In less than three minutes, he reached the ninetieth level!

As soon as he arrived, he saw Huangfu Rui locked in a fierce struggle with the Guardian.

The fight was incredibly intense.

"Hahaha, once I clear this, I'll be the first person to ever clear the Lingxiao Pagoda!"

"Senior Brother Huangfu, I'm afraid you won't be the first."

"Who's there?"

Huangfu Rui was startled. Turning around and seeing Feng Ming, he was momentarily stunned. "Why are you here?"

Feng Ming smiled. "I didn't want to come either, but the Sect Master sent me to get you. The Trial is about to start. If you don't come out now, you won't make it in time."

Huangfu Rui's expression was cold. "Go out by yourself. I'll be clearing the level soon!"

Feng Ming smiled. "That's not up to you. Besides, at your speed, it would take you ten days to half a month to get through. You'd better come with me."

The next moment, Huangfu Rui was dumbfounded. He saw Feng Ming reach out with his hand, and the Black-Clothed Swordsman instantly exploded.

Countless droplets of blood condensed into Blood Swords, making it impossible for him to reform!

Huangfu Rui's mouth hung open in shock, but before he could react, he was teleported to the next level.

Just like before, before he could even process what was happening, Feng Ming had already dealt with the Guardian of the next level.

He was pushed into the portals by Feng Ming, completely bewildered the entire time.

Huangfu Rui had no idea what he had experienced in the final levels. By the time he came to his senses, he was already standing outside the Lingxiao Pagoda.

Feng Ming didn't even bother greeting him before entering the pagoda once more.

Huangfu Rui finally snapped out of it and was instantly enraged. "Feng Ming! You bastard! I'll kill you!"

"I was just about to clear the tower! You better pay me back for the hundredth-level reward!"

Feng Ming naturally couldn't hear his roaring; he was already inside the final passage.

Two of the three people had been cleared; the last one was undoubtedly Lu Qianqian.

And indeed, Feng Ming found Lu Qianqian at the ninetieth level.

The scene was just as he had imagined.

Lu Qianqian was crouching in a corner with her arms around her knees, crying.

Beside her, the Black-Clothed Swordsman stood there with a look of grievance on his Face.

Lu Qianqian cried while cursing, "Stupid Feng Ming, rotten Feng Ming. Now that you've married my sister, you don't miss me anymore. You don't care if I live or die. All men in the world are the same, not a single good one among them—they're all Big Pig Trotters."

Feng Ming was speechless, yet his heart ached for her.

"Have you ever seen a Big Pig Trotter as handsome as this?"

Hearing this, Lu Qianqian immediately looked up. When she saw Feng Ming actually standing before her, she instantly broke down.

She stood up and threw herself at Feng Ming, then burst into loud wails.

She cried as if the world were ending!

Feng Ming pulled her into his arms and sighed. "Silly girl, if you missed me, why didn't you come out sooner? What's the use of hiding here and crying?"
