290: The bones are so soft they're practically mushy.
Feng Ming was at a critical moment in his cultivation and couldn't care about anything else, focusing all his mind on absorbing the surrounding Spiritual Qi.
In his heart, his desire for strength climbed to its Peak at this moment.
In the blink of an eye, three hours had passed. Feng Ming's frantic cultivation finally showed results. At this moment, a crisp hum echoed from within Feng Ming's Dantian, and a thicker aura spread from his body before he slowly withdrew his technique.
Peering into his Dantian, Feng Ming's face was full of ecstasy; his cultivation had finally broken through from the sixth level of the Nascent Soul Realm to the seventh level.
Looking at it this time, the Breakthrough span wasn't large, but if combined with the previous Breakthrough, it was not to be underestimated.
After all, it had only been two days since his last Breakthrough. One must know that the higher the Realm, the more difficult it is to advance. According to normal cultivation, it would be impossible for anyone to have this kind of speed.
The reason Feng Ming could achieve such success was also a chain reaction brought about by the Breakthrough in the Way of Divine Sense.
Breaking through a Realm also brought Feng Ming immense satisfaction.
If he could find a treasure land with endless Spiritual Qi, he was confident that by relying on the Inverting Dragon and Phoenix Art, he could charge to the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm within half a month! Unfortunately, such treasure lands can be sought but not easily found.
As for Medicinal Pills, they were even more incomparable.
“The Way of Divine Sense is truly the head of all paths!” Feng Ming sighed with emotion. “When one person attains the Dao, even their pets ascend to heaven. My Divine Sense has attained the Dao, and my other great paths are benefiting from it!”
He even vaguely felt that with the improvement of his Divine Sense, many of his previous attack methods seemed to have room for optimization and improvement.
However, these could be left for later to ponder slowly. It was still early, so he might as well take advantage of this momentum to try and charge for the eighth level of the Nascent Soul Realm.
Although the hope was slim, he couldn't waste this excellent cultivation opportunity for nothing.
Thinking of this, Feng Ming was about to concentrate his mind and continue cultivating when he suddenly sensed a gaze in front of him.
He snapped his eyes open, so startled he almost threw a punch.
He saw Hua Dieer squatting in front of him, her eyes staring straight at him without blinking.
“Are you trying to scare me to death!” Feng Ming patted his chest and said crossly, “You almost gave me a heart attack!”
But Hua Dieer ignored his complaints. Her eyes were bloodshot, an abnormal flush bloomed on her cheeks, and her breathing became rapid. Grabbing Feng Ming's sleeve, her voice carried a sob as she shouted urgently:
“Feng Ming! Save me! I can't hold on much longer—”
Hua Dieer's skin was alarmingly hot, and the veins at her temples were throbbing. “My blood and Qi are surging all over my body, like a fire is burning... It's so hot, it's really so hot!”
Feng Ming looked at her cheeks, which were so red they seemed about to drip blood. His heart skipped a beat as he reached out to check her forehead; his fingertips were so scorched the moment they touched her skin that he reflexively pulled back.
“Did your Qi go haywire? Or did you secretly practice some wicked technique?” He frowned as he sized her up. “Weren't you going to Cultivate moon gazing tears? How did you end up like this?”
Hua Dieer was so angry her vision went dark, but she happened to be weak all over and could only glare at him fiercely: “You're the one practicing wicked techniques! I became like this all thanks to you!”
“Blaming me again?” Feng Ming looked bewildered. “I didn't force you to swallow the moon gazing tears.”
This was not wrong. Just now, the two of them had clearly each taken a bit of moon gazing tears to refine, but the effects were worlds apart.
Feng Ming had the Way of Divine Sense as a foundation, so the medicinal power of the moon gazing tears was entirely used to nourish his Divine Sense, without a single hitch.
But Hua Dieer was different. Although she had the Innate Charm Body and her Mental Energy far exceeded Cultivators of the same rank, she hadn't touched the threshold of Divine Sense, let alone the fact that she was still bound by a Heart Demon, her Realm stuck at the Peak of the Golden Core without moving.
The effect of the moon gazing tears was extremely overbearing. In just a short moment, it pushed her Mental Energy to the limit, yet the medicinal power was still pouring in continuously.
This was like a water tank that had long been filled to the brim, yet someone was still desperately pouring water into it. Over time, it was only a matter of time before the tank burst and the person died.
“It's definitely too late to temporarily comprehend Divine Sense.” Feng Ming pondered for a moment and quickly understood the key. “The only way is to immediately break through the shackles of the Heart Demon and charge into the Nascent Soul Realm!”
Only by increasing the capacity of the 'water tank' could this overflowing Mental Energy be accommodated.
Hua Dieer acted as if she had caught a life-saving straw and nodded repeatedly: “You promised to help me resolve my Heart Demon before! I originally thought I could rely on the medicinal power of the moon gazing tears to forcibly break through, but now it seems... I can only rely on you!”
Hearing this, Feng Ming couldn't help but roll his eyes: “If a Heart Demon could be forcibly broken through, would it still be called a Heart Demon? You're too bold.”
“What time is it and you're still making sarcastic remarks!” Hua Dieer was so anxious her eyes turned red, and even her voice carried a tremor. “Is there a way or not?”
Feng Ming sighed and raised his hand to rub his brow: “There is one way, it just depends on whether you can do it.”
He looked at Hua Dieer and said word by word: “Isn't the root of your Heart Demon the feeling that your Innate Charm Body is useless against me, causing it to knot in your heart? To resolve it, there is only one way...”
He paused, and meeting Hua Dieer's eager gaze, he spoke slowly: “To let you truly charm me.”
As he spoke, he simply took two steps back and stood with his arms crossed leisurely: “Just go ahead and do whatever you want. If once tonight isn't enough, then twice; if twice isn't enough, then three times. When you can make me feel truly captivated by you, your Heart Demon will naturally be resolved.”
Hua Dieer was stunned for a moment, then nodded heavily. Right now, this was indeed the only way to survive.
She no longer hesitated, took a deep breath, moved with light steps, and her entire temperament suddenly changed.
The anxiety from before faded from her eyes, replaced by a few hints of soul-hooking feminine charm. Her slender hand lifted slightly, her fingertips grazing her waist as if by accident, then her body leaned forward, almost pressing against Feng Ming as she breathed like an orchid: “Is this... enough?”
With those watery eyes paired with that pitiful appearance, if it were any other man, his bones would have likely turned soft long ago.
But Feng Ming acted as if he had been burned, reaching out and pushing her away.
“I say, Young Miss,” he sighed helplessly, holding his forehead, “I told you to charm me, not to seduce me! Can those two be the same?”
Hua Dieer was pushed back and stumbled, her face full of confusion: “What's the difference?”
“Of course there's a difference!” Feng Ming explained crossly. “Charming relies on your aura and character to make someone feel admiration and willingly submit; while seduction...” He glanced at her, “is nothing more than stirring up some unsightly desires, which is a hundred thousand miles away from the true essence of a Charm Body!”
Hua Dieer became more and more confused, and the burning sensation in her body surged up again. White smoke was almost rising from the top of her head, and she was so anxious her eyes turned red.
Seeing this, Feng Ming was also out of options. He pointed to a pool not far away: “Go to the pool first to cool down, and I'll teach you a way... Go perform a dance.”
