592: Accusing the Dark Elves

Inside the Crescent Moon Hall, there was a deathly silence.

All that could be heard was Yekaterina's rapid breathing.

At this moment, her face was pale, and she was desperately winking at her younger brother.

She could already imagine the expression on Qin Yang's face, sitting on the throne.

That's right, Legolas was the legitimate heir of the Elven King.

But in Qin Yang's view, his brother-in-law Legolas was not as easy to control as his wife.

The imperial family was the most ruthless.

To become the Elven King, Qin Yang had already been considering Legolas's future even before the expedition began.

She had finally managed to make Qin Yang abandon this idea, but Legolas...

Just as Yekaterina was winking at Legolas, she heard Qin Yang speak: "The curse you mentioned, does it mean female Elves cannot be King?"

Legolas nodded slightly, then looked at the Dark Grandmother beside him and said, "The Evil God of the Dark Elves once cast a vicious curse on the Elf World; if a female Elf becomes King, she will be transformed into a Dark Elf."

At this point, he placed his hand on his chest and said to Qin Yang, "If my sister wants to be the Elven King, we must first lift the curse, otherwise..."

Legolas did not continue, only staring intently at the Dark Grandmother, but Qin Yang could see Hatred for the Dark Elves in his eyes.

"Oh, just becoming a Dark Elf, that's all."

Qin Yang snorted indifferently and said, "From now on, the three major races will be one family, so it doesn't matter if they become Dark Elves, right?"

"Ah? How can this be?"

All the Elves, including Legolas, were too shocked to speak.

Even the Dark Grandmother, whose face was hidden behind a veil, showed a look of surprise.

Their understanding could not comprehend the "one family" in the Divine Emperor's words.

In their minds, if a Forest Elf were to become a Dark Elf, what was the difference from dying???

Qin Yang ignored everyone's gaze, looked at Yekaterina, and asked, "Can you accept becoming a Dark Elf?"

"This..."

Yekaterina stared blankly at Qin Yang for a long time before gritting her teeth and saying, "It's... it's fine..."

Looking at her appearance of forced compromise, Qin Yang found it amusing.

Yekaterina agreed verbally, but her eyes were filled with "I don't want to."

This was understandable.

Forest Elves, with their golden hair, blue eyes, and skin like snow, were indeed far more beautiful than Dark Elves, with their crimson eyes and purplish-gray skin.

This wasn't to say that Dark Elves were not beautiful.

Rather, the cultures and aesthetics of the two races were completely different.

In the Elf World, Dark Elves were called "Black Demons."

This term was similar to a derogatory racial slur, carrying a discriminatory meaning.

This discrimination was deeply ingrained, unless one had a special aesthetic or was psychologically abnormal.

Neither Forest Elves, nor Bright Moon Elves, nor even Night Elves, could accept becoming a "Black Demon."

Qin Yang could already foresee that the biggest governance problem in the Elf World would be conflicts between the various races.

Fortunately, the culture of Shenzhou was best at handling such problems.

Qin Yang cleared his throat and said to everyone:

"I have said that whether you are Forest Elves or Dark Elves, you are all subjects of the Empire."

"I allow you to retain your customs, cultures, and even religions."

"However, you must recognize your Shenzhou compatriots."

"Shenzhou is a plane-level Empire, and in addition to the main human race, it will also include various races such as Elves and demi-humans."

"I do not allow humans to discriminate against you, and I do not want to see you discriminate against each other."

"If you are always unwilling to accept each other, conflicts will break out sooner or later."

"At that time, even if I send troops to suppress it, I will not be able to resolve the Hatred you have formed."

"Since that's the case, how about this..."

At this point, Qin Yang drew his sword and gently threw it forward.

"I give you 30 days to slaughter each other until only one race remains."

Along with Qin Yang's cold words, the shangfang sword was plunged into the center of the Crescent Moon Hall.

Clang!

The sharp hum of the vibrating sword made all the Elves' hearts ache, as if the shangfang sword had been plunged into their own hearts.

The representatives of the Forest, Bright Moon, and Dark races all looked at each other in unison.

At this moment, they finally understood.

The profound Elf World could be ravaged to this extent by barbarians from the wilderness because the four major races had never united.

Now, the crisis in the Elf World had disappeared.

If they continued to coexist with racial prejudices, another crisis would inevitably erupt sooner or later.

After a moment of silence, Yekaterina spoke first: "I believe that the relationship between Elves should change. We have been fighting for so long, simply to determine who is superior and thus Dominator the Elf World."

At this point, she looked at Qin Yang and continued, "But now, the Elf World already has a new master, and continuing to fight is meaningless."

"I agree."

Ayla, the Acting Holy Maiden of the Bright Moon Elves, stepped forward and said, "Faith and culture have no superiority or inferiority, just as Night Elves can believe in the Goddess of Nature and also in Huiyue Power; we can inherently accept each other."

At this point, the two exchanged glances, then both looked at the Dark Grandmother, their gazes filled with wariness.

Clearly, the two families could accept each other, but they both disliked the Dark Elves.

Legolas saw that his sister did not want to bear the curse and knew that there were some things she found inconvenient to say, so he stepped forward and said, "Divine Emperor, I am not coveting my sister's throne; I am just worried that she will suffer the curse and fall into the embrace of the Spider Goddess."

Hearing the words "Spider Goddess," all the Elves frowned, and the Elders of the Bright Moon Elves became even more agitated.

"The Prince is right; I don't believe that Dark Elves can accept us."

"That's right, in terms of faith, Dark Elves are heretics, and in terms of culture, they are also anomalies. They are cruel and bloodthirsty, worship power, and take pride in harming others for their own gain."

"Even the conflicts between the Forest, Bright Moon, and Night races were instigated by these Black Demons through framing and slandering."

"With such restless beings present, disaster will surely be brought to the Elf World again!"

"I hope the Divine Emperor can banish the Dark Elves and their Evil God, only then can stability be restored to the Elf World."

The Elders discussed animatedly; their past Hatred made them wish to put the Dark Elves to death.

However, the Elders of the Forest Elves remained silent. It wasn't that they had no Hatred for the Dark Elves.

It was just that not long ago, the Dark Elves had helped them overcome a crisis, and betraying them now would be inconsistent with the Forest Elves' character.

Qin Yang slowly turned his head, looked at the Dark Grandmother, and asked, "Do you have anything to refute?"

The Dark Grandmother nodded slightly and removed her veil.

This was the first time she had shown her true face in front of others,

and it actually made the female Elves present's eyes light up.

Aside from her purplish-gray skin, the Dark Matron's appearance was not inferior to Yekaterina's.

However, her eyes had slight crow's feet, indicating that she was an Elder-level Elf.

"Divine Emperor."

The Dark Matron faced the Divine Emperor, bowed with her hand on her chest, and said, "I fully accept all the accusations made against the Dark Elves, but I still request that you give us an opportunity to explain. The Spider Goddess cast the curse not out of malice, but for another reason."

"Speak." Qin Yang raised his hand slightly.

The Dark Matron looked up and said, "Divine Emperor, the Spider Goddess wishes to speak with you."

Qin Yang's eyes lit up, "The Spider Goddess?"
