594: Spider Goddess's Mission

“Wonderful,” Qin Yang said, looking at the Hui Yue totem behind him, feeling like everything clicked into place.

He had always wondered why Huiyue Power, as the most primordial deity in the Elf World, was so unaware.

It turned out that it wasn't a deity at all, but the slumbering eastern emperor bell.

The eastern emperor bell possessed the ability to construct worlds and was considered the most comprehensively powerful Divine Artifact.

The Five Elements of the Elf World, Hui Yues Fire, the Well of the Moon... these so-called "miracles" were actually powers emanating from the eastern emperor bell.

“The eastern emperor bell is truly hidden deep,” Qin Yang mused.

“Not only did I not sense it, but even Yang Jian didn't.”

“However, the Demon Eye at that time might have detected it.”

“This also explains why it abandoned the Forest Elves and instead attacked Moon Viewing City.”

Thinking of this, Qin Yang felt excited, but maintained a calm expression on his face.

He was now almost certain that the "supreme treasure" mentioned by the Spider Goddess was the eastern emperor bell.

However, one thing remained unclear: why did the Spider Goddess know that the "supreme treasure" buried beneath the Elf World belonged to him?

“Could it be that this spider demon received some kind of revelation?”

Qin Yang thought to himself, looking at the Spider Goddess and asking, “Why do you know that treasure is mine?”

“Because a long, long time ago, I saw what is happening now.”

The Spider Goddess slightly raised her head, looking at the dome of the Moon Viewing Hall, a mysterious smile playing on her lips.

Qin Yang followed her gaze upwards and saw a tiny shadow quickly flit across a dark corner of the dome.

Qin Yang's perception was incredibly sharp, and he immediately realized it was a spider.

Instantly, Qin Yang understood.

The eastern emperor bell had the ability to distort space and time.

Combining this with the Spider Goddess's answer, it wasn't hard to guess.

When she was still a small spider, she had already seen him.

And, she had personally witnessed him ruling the Elf World and taking away the eastern emperor bell.

That "little bug" hiding in the dark corner of the dome was the past Spider Goddess.

The Spider Goddess's smile just now was a greeting to her past self.

“Interesting, truly interesting.”

“The eastern emperor bell truly lives up to its name as a Divine Artifact capable of twisting time.”

“It can even transmit the past Spider Goddess to the present, allowing her to witness the grand finale live.”

“Moreover, other Divine Artifacts appeared 500 years ago, but the eastern emperor bell appeared in a much more distant past.”

“Perhaps it transported itself?”

Qin Yang mused in his heart, becoming increasingly eager for his new toy.

Just then, the Spider Goddess said:

“Divine Emperor, I have been waiting for this day, waiting for you.”

“But I lost in the War for the position of main god and could fall at any moment. In order to survive until today, I created the Dark Elves to guard the Divine Emperor’s supreme treasure buried deep underground.”

At this point, she paused and said, “Salaman pushed me too hard. If I hadn't resisted, I wouldn't have been able to see the Divine Emperor. Everything I and my followers did was just to survive in a harsh environment.”

Qin Yang nodded slightly. At this point, he understood everything.

From the moment the Spider Goddess developed the concept of "admiring the strong," the one she admired was him.

In that case, the Spider Goddess was his earliest ally, and could be called the first person to progress.

Thinking of this, Qin Yang stood up and said to the Elves, “The Spider Goddess has rendered meritorious service by presenting the treasure. I shall pardon her and her followers for their past crimes. Does anyone have any objections?”

“No objections...” the Elders of the Forest Elves said first.

The Elders of the Crescent Moon Elves also fell silent for a moment, then shook their heads, and said in unison, “We respect and obey the Divine Emperor’s decree.”

Qin Yang nodded with satisfaction and said, “All the gods of the Elf World shall only pledge allegiance to me, and all the followers are also my subjects. I do not wish to see you exclude other races due to conflicting ideologies. Those who violate this will be punished by law.”

“Yes!” all the Elves saluted in unison.

Qin Yang scanned the crowd, his gaze falling on Legolas.

He could tell that Legolas's opposition to Yekaterina was not out of coveting the throne, but because he didn't want his older sister to fall into being a Dark Elf.

This made Qin Yang's view of this young brother-in-law change for the better.

However, from Legolas's previous performance, he was not a steady person; in handling crises, he was even inferior to his younger sister Suneika.

In terms of strength, wisdom, and character... from all aspects, Legolas was not suitable to be the Elven King.

“We'll discuss it later. The Elf World doesn't necessarily need an Elven King,” Qin Yang muttered to himself.

He suddenly realized that this throne, on the contrary, was detrimental to the unity of the Elf World.

Salaman's original intention in establishing this throne was entirely for her own consideration.

She wanted the Forest Elves who believed in her to become the nobility of the Elf World.

But the Elf World had already ushered in liberation, and the Elven race would no longer be divided by status.

Allowing several Elven race groups to govern jointly, with mutual cooperation and checks and balances, might be a better choice.

“This matter can be discussed later; it would be best to establish a set of management plans,” Qin Yang murmured to himself.

This was the first plane he had conquered.

The establishment of the governance plan could not be too crude.

It would be best to have the civil officials customize a template that could be replicated in various worlds in the future, which would save a lot of work.

Thinking of this, Qin Yang looked at the Spider Goddess and said, “Now, take me to retrieve the treasure and complete your mission of Transmigration for ten thousand years.”

“Yes, Divine Emperor, I have waited a long time for this day.”

The Spider Goddess bowed respectfully, her crimson eyes filled with admiration.

Moon Viewing City, Radiant Moon Well.

The streets, paved with crystal, reflected dazzling golden light.

That was the light emanating from the Imperial Dragon Carriage.

When the Imperial Dragon Carriage floated over the city, it brought not shadows, but brilliant radiance.

The streets were filled with Crescent Moon Elves.

They looked up at the sky, their eyes filled with astonishment.

They had thought that the plane mothership, like a steel beast, was already exaggerated enough.

Unexpectedly, the Divine Emperor's mount was even more like a floating castle flown out of a dream!

The design of the castle's exterior was more beautiful than any Elven architecture, completely subverting the Elves' impression of humans.

Qin Yang stood with his hands behind his back, driving the dragon carriage to slowly fly over the city.

Without needing to search carefully, he saw a giant deep well with a diameter of 500 meters.

It was located in the center of Moon Viewing City, and a silver glow emanated from the well, clearly visible even in the early morning.

Qin Yang activated True Dragon Qi Observation and looked into the deep well.

Immediately, a seven-colored beam of light shot into the sky.

At the same time, a prompt appeared before Qin Yang's eyes.

“Discovered top-grade item: eastern emperor bell.”

“Item: eastern emperor bell (unique).”

“Quality: Rainbow-grade...”
