6: Cyberpunk Mods
"The cyberpunk 1.0 module? Good stuff! Just from the name, I know that with this module, I can definitely transform myself into a Cybertronian psycho. (Confirmed.jpg)"
(ps: The Cyberpunk module is an original module by the author. If there are any similarities, it's purely coincidental.)
Fang Yun exclaimed in his mind, not even caring that he was currently in the middle of a shootout. He immediately prepared to learn about the general situation of this module.
However, before Fang Yun could check the module's information, another System prompt appeared in his consciousness, making him temporarily suppress his thoughts.
"Ding! Due to obtaining <Module: cyberpunk 1.0>, the version of the Magic-Modified Cube System has been updated. After this version update, the version number has changed to 0.1, and the version content has added 'Crafting Recipe: Redstone Block'."
"For specific information regarding the version number and version content, please refer to <Version Information>."
"Based on my intuition, this Cyberpunk module must require redstone. Otherwise, a version update wouldn't simply add a crafting recipe for a redstone block."
Fang Yun quietly left the house he was just in, hiding in a house further away from the shootout. Then, he eagerly began to learn about the specific information of <Version Information> and <Module: cyberpunk 1.0>.
After some time, Fang Yun finally got a basic understanding of the information in <Version Information> and <Module: cyberpunk 1.0>.
"Version Information mainly includes version number information and version content information."
"The version number starts at 0.0. Each time I travel to another world, the first digit increases by one. Each time an update occurs, the second digit increases by one."
"Version content mainly includes version mechanisms, version characteristics, and version crafting recipes."
"Version mechanisms and version characteristics are mainly affected by plugins. Version crafting recipes are mainly affected by modules."
"As for the cyberpunk 1.0 module, the content is a bit complex, but it's still manageable. Compared to some heaven-defying modules, this is already considered a simple one."
The gunshots outside hadn't sounded for a while. This drew Fang Yun's attention away from the modules and version updates, back to the gunshots outside.
He perked up his ears, "Hmm? Why are the gunshots outside getting weaker? Did the shootout end?"
Fang Yun listened carefully to the movements outside, poking his head out of the window with some doubt to look towards the shootout site.
He saw the Wanderers and Nightwalkers were all withdrawing from the houses they had been holding. Some of them were starting their cars, seemingly having indeed ceased fire and preparing to retreat.
"Although I don't know why this shootout started, I have to thank this shootout, thank these Wanderers and Nightwalkers. If not for them, I wouldn't have obtained the Cyberpunk module so quickly."
After expressing his gratitude to these Wanderers and Nightwalkers, Fang Yun decided to wait for them to leave before entering the town to scavenge.
"The Cyberpunk module requires a large amount of materials like iron, wood, and sand."
"sand is easy to find. The Badlands can be said to lack everything except sand."
"As for iron, currently, I can only obtain it by converting iron-containing materials."
"wood can only be obtained in large quantities after the tree farm gradually develops. For now, conversion is the main method."
"Once this group of Wanderers leaves, I will start scavenging the resources in this town."
After deciding on the next steps, Fang Yun continued to stay in the room, waiting for the Wanderers and others to leave.
After about ten minutes, Fang Yun could no longer hear any movement. He poked his head out of the window again to check the situation at the battlefield.
Indeed, the shootout site, which was previously filled with flying bullets, was now empty.
Fang Yun quietly observed the town carefully from various places and directions, confirming that there was no one left in the town. There should also be no one outside the town, so he didn't have to worry about someone interrupting his scavenging for now.
Feeling relieved, Fang Yun quietly began collecting resources from one room, then quietly moved to the next.
"Just in case, I should still be careful when scavenging."
While scavenging, Fang Yun would occasionally stop to listen carefully for any movement around, or observe if there was anyone nearby.
Finally, after nearly seven hours of scavenging, Fang Yun had finally finished scavenging all the resources in the town.
"This town is bigger than the last one, and the harvest is also more than last time."
Fang Yun checked his backpack, then pushed the pre-arranged chest minecarts, preparing to return to the Shelter.
Suddenly, Fang Yun stopped and turned back, burying the leftover materials that couldn't be converted into blocks under a pile of sand.
"I shouldn't be coming back here in the future. It wouldn't be good if someone discovered this little bit of stuff left. Since all the rooms are empty, there shouldn't be anything left piled up here."
"As for the previous town, no one should go there, right? The scraps from that town were put in the toilet of a house by me. Forget it, I'll deal with it when I have time."
After burying the scraps, Fang Yun turned around and pushed the chest minecarts towards the Shelter.

"Phew. All the resources are stored. Next, let's prepare for using the Cyberpunk module."
"First, prepare a large amount of raw materials, including iron, coal, quartz crystals, oil, rubber, and rare element mixtures."
"Iron, I have prepared some iron ingots by scavenging two towns, about 120 stacks. Although they will probably be used up quickly, they can last for a while."
"Coal can be obtained by compressing wood using the Wood-to-Coal Machine. The ratio of wood to coal is 1 to 1."
(ps: Wood-to-Coal Machine, crafting recipe: Iron Ingot, wood, Iron Ingot; Iron Ingot, Iron Block, Iron Ingot; Iron Ingot, Stone, Iron Ingot.)
(ps: For a 3x3 crafting recipe, the order is 'top-left, top-middle, top-right; middle-left, center, middle-right; bottom-left, bottom-middle, bottom-right'. When a slot does not contain a material, use 'empty' to represent it.)
"quartz crystals can be obtained by smelting sand in a furnace or blast furnace. The ratio of sand to quartz crystals is 1 to 1."
(ps: quartz crystals are a private block setting within the Cyberpunk module. Oil, rubber, and rare element mixtures are also private block settings.)
(ps: All private settings in this book (including but not limited to: mechanisms, characteristics, crafting recipes, blocks), if there are any similarities, are purely coincidental.)
(ps: quartz crystals can be converted to quartz at a 1:1 ratio.)
(ps: In vanilla MC, sand can only be smelted in a furnace to obtain glass. This book also has this mechanism. When smelting sand in a furnace, you can choose to obtain glass or quartz crystals.)
"Oil can be obtained by smelting coal in a furnace or blast furnace. The ratio of coal to oil is 1 to 1."
"Rubber can be obtained by smelting wood in a furnace or blast furnace. The ratio of wood to rubber is 1 to 2."
"Rare element mixtures can be obtained by smelting redstone dust in a furnace or blast furnace. The ratio of redstone dust to rare element mixtures is 1 to 1."
"I obtained a little over one stack of wood through scavenging, which is completely insufficient. Fortunately, shrubs are judged as trees by the System, so I now have 10 stacks of wood, enough for 'startup capital'."
"There's no shortage of sand. If I run out, I can always go dig more."
"With the raw materials, I can synthesize primary materials. This process requires blueprints and a fabricator."
Recalling the content related to the Cyberpunk module and blueprints, Fang Yun couldn't help but sigh.
"Blueprints, another big material sink."
