121: What's the title of this chapter?

The card game continued.

The showdown at this table was exactly like a shootout in a cop movie.

Stand up, fire a shot, then duck down to dodge.

Number 1 popped his head up: "One King."

Number 1 ducked his head.

Number 2 popped his head up: "One King."

Number 2 ducked his head.

It was as if he thought, 'As long as I duck fast enough, they won't be able to question me.'

The onlookers were a bit speechless, momentarily unable to figure out what kind of game they were watching.

The waiters and henchmen tried their best to maintain their professionalism, but their gazes towards Buster were still a little resentful.

It's hard to learn good habits, but easy to pick up bad ones.

What was supposed to be a normal card game was made abnormal by this bearded man!

Buster buried his face deep under the table, as if he were just an innocent summoned creature.

The sound of cards being played continued, but this was just the calm before the storm.

The 'ducking play style' could only prevent peeking, and offered no further help.

Although the advantage from the previous two rounds allowed 2 and 4 to take two extra shots, it wasn't necessarily secure.

A fight was inevitable, and it was possible some unlucky soul would be instantly eliminated.

Number 1, hidden under the table, now wore a confident expression.

Peeking was just one tactic.

A seasoned cheat wouldn't have only one way to cheat!

From the first round, he had secretly used his fingernail to make slight indentations on the back of the cards.

He had marked all the real cards he had gotten!

Next, he just needed to observe whether the cards played by Number 4 had any scratches, then he could confidently question them!

"One King!"

Number 4 played his card, then ducked back down.

Number 1 popped his head up, pretending to think, but actually observing.

After confirming there were no scratches on that card, Number 1 gave a cold smile.

Hide? Is hiding useful?

"Liar!"

Although shouting from a squatting position on the floor lacked presence, it still followed the rules.

The waiter reached out to flip the card, revealing an Ace.

"Damn it!" Number 4's eyes were bloodshot, wishing he could bite Number 1 to death.

Number 1 felt he already had victory in his grasp, so he naturally didn't care about the thoughts of a dead man walking.

Click—

After the misfire, Number 4 started playing cards again.

"Three Kings!"

Number 4's tone was provocative, "Dare to call it?"

From his perspective, Number 1 really liked to call his cards. Now that he had played three cards, Number 1 might not be able to resist calling him.

And although Number 1 couldn't see the backs of all three cards clearly, it didn't matter; he only needed to see one clearly.

On the back of the card closest to him, a tiny scratch was visible.

Real and fake cards mixed together still counted as fake cards, so as long as Number 4 wasn't an idiot, he shouldn't mix real and fake cards when playing.

"I don't dare." Number 1 ignored Number 4's provocation, discarded a card, and passed.

Seeing that Number 1 didn't call him, Number 4 immediately felt some regret, thinking he had overacted.

Originally, he thought that as long as Number 1 called him, he could get revenge, but now it seemed his anger had made him impulsive.

With two fake cards left in his hand, if Number 1 questioned him again, Number 4 would have to take a third shot.

So... with only fake cards left, Number 4 could only choose to question Number 3, Buster. As long as Buster played a fake card and was successfully questioned, he could take a shot for Number 4.

Unable to be questioned by Number 1, after Buster played his cards, Number 4 chose to flip them: "Liar!"

The waiter responded and flipped the cards.

King.

Number 4 immediately broke out in a cold sweat.

His face was filled with regret, believing he shouldn't have directly thrown out three real cards.

It's okay, it's only the third shot, I still have a chance, I still have a chance...

Bang!!!

A body fell to the ground with a thud, blood spreading everywhere.

Number 4's consciousness slowly dissipated along with his life.

The waiters swept away the 'trash' and the game resumed.

Number 1 looked at Buster, a smirk on his face.

After Number 4's death, Number 3, Buster, became Number 1's upstream player.

As long as he kept sending these people away one by one, he could hold 120 coins!

Number 1 looked at the coins on the table, his eyes shining, eagerly awaiting the start of the game.

After Number 4's death, it was randomly Number 2's turn to play.

He played a card, Buster chose not to question, and followed with a card.

Number 1 saw the crease, so he made no move and also followed with a card.

After three rounds, each person still had two cards left.

Number 2 unhesitatingly played both remaining cards at once, securing a safe round first.

Number 1 saw the scratches, knowing that Number 2 had played real cards.

Counting the previous number of real cards, Buster would no longer have any real cards in his hand!

This way, whether Buster called Number 2 or not, Number 1 wouldn't take a bullet.

Buster chose not to call Number 2, but continued to play cards.

"Liar!"

Number 1 questioned without hesitation.

Even if Buster didn't get eliminated with one shot, it didn't matter; he would just slowly wear him down.

The waiter reached out and flipped Buster's card.

"King!"

"What?!" Number 1's eyes widened in disbelief.

How did he still have a real card?

Did he not mark all the real cards?

But he clearly remembered marking 8 cards!

Did he remember wrong?

Number 1 didn't understand what was happening, thinking he had made a mistake, and picked up the pistol with a frustrated expression.

Misfire, nothing happened.

Number 1 continued to play cards.

"One King."

Number 2 vaguely felt that Number 1 and Number 3 were clashing. He just needed to sit back and watch them both suffer, so he chose not to question, letting Buster continue to play cards.

One round... two rounds... three rounds...

Number 1 stared intently at the cards.

He was very sure that this time, all real cards had absolutely been played.

Buster continued to play cards: "One King."

"Liar!" Number 1 gritted his teeth.

The waiter stepped forward to do his job, but what was revealed was still a King.

"How is this possible?!"

Number 1 no longer shrank under the table; he stood up and stared fixedly at that King, almost piercing the card with his gaze.

Why, he had clearly seen eight cards appear on the table, why did this guy still have Kings?

Things were gradually getting out of control, making him feel a little panicked.

Number 1's fingers trembled slightly, and he fired another shot at himself.

Didn't die, continue.

They continued to play cards, and this time, Buster, as if in provocation, directly pushed three cards in front of Number 1.

"Three Kings!"

Number 1 stared at the backs of those cards.

No scratches, not a single one.

Fake, fake, it must be fake!

And Buster deliberately shook the two cards remaining in his hand: "If you don't question, I'll be out next round!"

The backs of the remaining two cards had the familiar scratches Number 1 recognized.

"Liar!!!"

He glared, eyes wide, and shouted loudly, firmly believing that Buster's three cards were definitely a bluff.

Flip the cards.

Three Kings.

"Why?!"

Why why why?

Why did he have so many Kings?

Why?!

Bang!!!

(I looked up some information on cheats, those people are terrifying, almost like they have superpowers. Ordinary people can't win against them at all. Stay away from gambling, refuse to bet, and have a happy family!)
