10: Chapter 10 introduces Shrek Academy

"You guys handle the rest yourselves. I'll take Xiao Wu back first."

After finishing with Tang San, Bai Qi turned back to Xiao Wu's side and said,

"So, I didn't embarrass you, Sister Xiao Wu, did I?"

Xiao Wu said with an excited look on her face,

Bai Qi smiled.

"Then I wonder if Sister Xiao Wu would do me the honor of having a meal with me?"

Bai Qi said,

"Then let's go, my young lady."

The two walked along, teasing each other as they went.

Xiao Wu replied,

That night, Bai Qi suddenly heard a voice.

When Bai Qi opened his eyes again, he was in a forest. Standing across from him was a middle-aged man wearing a dark hemp robe; it was Tang San's father, Tang Hao.

Seeing Bai Qi looking at him, Tang Hao said,

"I see you're just a kid, so I won't bully you. Where's the person protecting you? Call him over, and I'll just give him a beating."

As he spoke, a figure appeared beside Bai Qi—it was Hua Mulan.

As soon as Hua Mulan appeared, she looked at Bai Qi.

"Mm, go on then. He wants to beat you."

When Tang Hao sensed that Hua Mulan was also a Titled Douluo, he immediately summoned his Spirit and spirit rings: two yellow, two purple, four black, and one red.

Bai Qi struggled to resist with his Soul Power. In his desperation, he quickly used the summoning voucher. Instantly, a faint blue shield enveloped him.

Catching his breath, Bai Qi looked back. "Holy cow! Hai Yue!!!"

Because Bai Qi hadn't thought of anyone specific when summoning, it had been random.

After protecting Bai Qi, Hai Yue immediately used Illusory Sea Reflected Moon without a word, pulling everyone except Bai Qi into her own space.

Looking at the empty surroundings and the three circles of light on the ground, Bai Qi finally sighed in relief and muttered to himself,

"Tonight has truly been full of surprises."

After resting for a while and seeing no movement from the three circles of light, he intended to get up and leave, planning to return and check the next morning.

Unexpectedly, just as Bai Qi stood up to leave, the circle belonging to Tang Hao suddenly exploded. Tang Hao and his Clear Sky Hammer were sent flying out, landing prone on the ground.

The other two circles also slowly dissipated, and Hua Mulan and Hai Yue stepped out.

Mulan said after emerging,

"If it weren't for the fact that you didn't have any killing intent toward the Young Master, you'd be a dead man by now."

Hai Yue still didn't speak. Tang Hao, who was prone on the ground, stood up, glanced at them, and left without a word. It was mostly because it was too embarrassing; he had come to pick a fight, failed to win, and got beaten up instead.

After Tang Hao left, Mulan said to Bai Qi,

"Young Master, if there's nothing else, I'll head back first."

Bai Qi replied,

"Yeah, go ahead."

Having received Bai Qi's reply, Mulan rushed back immediately. The food she had bought would be stone-cold if she waited any longer.

"What about you?"

After letting Mulan leave, Bai Qi looked at Hai Yue.

In response, Hai Yue smiled faintly. Her figure instantly vanished, turning into a butterfly that landed on Bai Qi's chest and became a butterfly badge.

After everything ended, Bai Qi looked at the empty surroundings again and complained,

"How come no one is sending me back?"

As soon as he spoke, the butterfly on his chest emitted a blue light. Bai Qi had barely seen it glow before he was back in the dormitory in the blink of an eye.

"That's quite convenient. Thank you, Hai Yue."

After Bai Qi thanked Hai Yue, the butterfly on his chest glowed as if in response.
