14: Chapter 14 Going Home

That evening, just as Xiao Wu came out of her room, ready to find Bai Qi to go forage for food in the city, she saw Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun, who were already wrapped up like mummies, with their arms around each other's shoulders, preparing to leave the school gate.

Seeing them still wanting to go out in such a state, Xiao Wu curiously followed behind them. Once she got close enough to hear what they were saying, she immediately ran back, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Dong, dong, dong. As the knocking sounded, Bai Qi, who was thinking about what to do for the next two years, got up to open the door.

The moment the door opened, a pink figure rushed in through the gap, diving straight into the quilt on the bed inside. However, the movement was too loud, and a section of her lower leg was still exposed.

Bai Qi stood at the doorway, dumbfounded, looking at Xiao Wu, who was so embarrassed. Both confused and amused, he walked over, reached out to tickle Xiao Wu's leg, and laughed.

"What's the matter, making our big sister Xiao Wu so embarrassed?"

Having been tickled by Bai Qi, Xiao Wu suddenly pulled her leg back into the quilt and replied sullenly.

After saying that, she ran behind Bai Qi and pushed him as they walked out.

And Bai Qi just smiled as he was pushed out by Xiao Wu.

The next morning.

Bai Qi and Xiao Wu were on the academy square, quietly waiting for Flender's arrival.

Not long after, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun entered through the academy gate.

Upon seeing them, Xiao Wu frowned and hid behind Bai Qi.

This scene was naturally seen by Dai Mubai, but having enjoyed himself all night, he didn't care and led the three of them to stand on the other side of Bai Qi.

Once everyone arrived, Flender slowly flew down from the sky, flapping his wings, and said.

Dai Mubai and the other two immediately headed to the dormitory to catch up on sleep.

Bai Qi took Xiao Wu and walked towards Flender.

Flender looked at Dai Mubai and the other two and sighed.

He looked at Bai Qi and said.

"If you two have matters to attend to, be on your way. Great Master has already mentioned it in his letter."

Bai Qi looked at the departing trio of Dai Mubai and replied.

But Bai Qi and Xiao Wu both knew who was causing this commotion; it was none other than our Titan Giant Ape, Er Ming.

When Er Ming reached Bai Qi and Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu looked at the Titan Giant Ape and said.

"Er Ming, why are you here?"

Er Ming rubbed his head and said.

"Big Sister Xiao Wu, Xiao Qi, Aunt Rou asked me to come and take you back."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Wu happily pulled Bai Qi towards Er Ming. Er Ming, being very sensible, reached out his hand to let Xiao Wu and Bai Qi climb on.

After the two climbed onto Er Ming and sat steadily.

Er Ming took the two of them back.

When they arrived at the central area, the first thing the two saw was the villa that had become a ruin.

Xiao Wu asked Er Ming directly.
