Soft grinding and hard foaming

In the quiet room, two people sat facing each other.

Mingyue Duoduo looked at Xiao Feng, who had asked her to speak her mind, and said to him, "I hope you can come with me to the camp and help me guide them."

Before he could say anything, Mingyue Duoduo continued, "Their physical fitness is too poor; we must use your methods to improve them."

Listening to Mingyue Duoduo's voice, Xiao Feng said, "The training methods of Cultivators and your methods cannot be the same; your bodies cannot endure it."

Cultivators have Spirit Energy as support within their bodies, while ordinary people only have flesh and blood; compressing them might lead to death.

Seeing Xiao Feng unwilling to help, Mingyue Duoduo asked curiously, "Then what methods does your Sect usually use for training? Can you tell me?"

Xiao Feng couldn't help but laugh when he heard that Mingyue Duoduo was interested in his Sect's secret techniques: "Sect secret techniques? That's not something you can touch."

Just as she was about to say something more, Xiao Feng immediately interrupted her: "If there's nothing else, I won't stay here."

He stood up, twisted his neck, and walked outside, wanting to leave as quickly as possible.

Mingyue Duoduo's gaze was too intense; no one knew what method she would use to get his secret techniques.

In just one stick of incense time, Xiao Feng arrived at the tavern and glanced at the sword marks on the table, sighing, "No wonder her swordsmanship is so good; it turns out she's the General."

Yesterday, he had suspected Mingyue Duoduo's identity, thinking she might be from a wealthy family.

He just hadn't expected that Mingyue Duoduo was the General herself.

Xiao Feng walked to the door, intending to close it.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared at the doorway, pointing inside with an embarrassed expression: "Can I come in and sit with you?"

Xiao Feng had thought there would be no problems after he left the General's Residence, but no one expected Mingyue Duoduo to show up at his door.

Xiao Feng shrugged helplessly: "It's useless for you to pester me; the Sect's secret techniques are only passed down to the Disciples of this Sect."

The soldiers in the city and Mingyue Duoduo were clearly not in this category; there was no way he would teach the Qing Sect Qi Refining Technique to these people.

Mingyue Duoduo understood that she couldn't win over Xiao Feng in a short time, so she followed him into the brewing room and found that the wine inside was almost gone.

She looked at Xiao Feng with a smile: "I guess you don't know how to brew wine, right? If you don't have any wine here, your task should be over, shouldn't it?"

Xiao Feng shrugged noncommittally and did not reveal his plan.

In his eyes, he could go to other places to buy wine to replenish his stock; there was no way he would let his tavern run out of wine to sell.

Just then, Mingyue Duoduo rolled up her sleeves and walked inside, immediately starting to brew wine.

Xiao Feng stood behind Mingyue Duoduo, his face full of surprise: "You know how to brew wine?"

Mingyue Duoduo nodded slightly: "Of course, if this General didn't know how to brew wine, how could I lead so many guards in the city?"

To prevent Xiao Feng from secretly learning her brewing method, she immediately chased him out and made him watch from the doorway.

Xiao Feng shook his head speechlessly and sat down at the counter.

He had originally planned to go out late at night to buy wine, but now that step was clearly unnecessary.

Unconsciously, the sky gradually brightened.

Xiao Feng glanced at the brewing room, skillfully opened the door, and waited for the people at the doorway to come in and buy wine.

Just as he had predicted, the familiar figures were at the doorway again, walking inside with smiles: "Give us two taels of wine."

Just as Xiao Feng was about to act, Mingyue Duoduo came out of the brewing room and burst out laughing: "You're in luck; you can taste the wine I brewed."

She took a few wine jars, went inside, filled them with wine for these people, and brought them to the doorway.

Looking at Mingyue Duoduo's serious expression, Xiao Feng understood that she was doing this to get him to join the team.

To be able to do this, she was already a very qualified General.

However, the Qing Sect had clear regulations; if Xiao Feng were to teach the Qing Sect Qi Refining Technique to others, his status as a direct Disciple would be at its limit.

Xiao Feng came before Mingyue Duoduo, a faint smile on his face: "I know your purpose, but I must strictly abide by the Sect's rules."

Without saying anything more to her, he turned his head to look elsewhere and returned to the counter.

Mingyue Duoduo was worried that their relationship would become increasingly stiff, so she quickly came to Xiao Feng: "I'm helping you not to get you to join the team, but just to help you."

She had two reasons for coming here. The first was naturally hoping that Xiao Feng would go with her to train her soldiers.

Since that path was blocked, she had a second matter, which was to figure out what Xiao Feng's purpose was.

In her opinion, the gap between Cultivators and ordinary people was very large, and if she didn't have a capable Cultivator by her side, she believed her position would not be stable at all.

Looking at Mingyue Duoduo's explanation, Xiao Feng shrugged indifferently: "Then do as you please. I probably won't be leaving the tavern recently."

He had just used Spirit Energy to search the city but found no trace of the Demon Clan.

Since that was the case, he could only temporarily lie low and wait for those people to appear.

Unconsciously, half a month had passed.

Mingyue Duoduo stayed close during this half month, even bringing her luggage to the tavern.

Many people pointed and whispered about Xiao Feng in the tavern, thinking that the two of them were very likely to live together.

These rumors naturally reached Xiao Feng's ears, and he occasionally looked at Mingyue Duoduo, realizing that she had developed feelings for him.

However, they were not people from the same world. As soon as Xiao Feng completed his task, he had to return to the Qing Sect as quickly as possible to report, and he could not stay here.

To avoid hurting Mingyue Duoduo, Xiao Feng walked up to her, his expression very serious: "Put down what you're doing first; I have something to talk to you about."

When Mingyue Duoduo saw Xiao Feng's serious expression, she felt that something must have happened, so she quickly returned to the tavern and sat down.

Xiao Feng looked at her: "You should know how big the gap between Cultivators and ordinary people is; the two of us can never be together."

By saying this, he was clearly rejecting Mingyue Duoduo, telling her not to waste her time on him.

Whether it was background or strength, Mingyue Duoduo and Xiao Feng were extremely mismatched, and he had no reason to stay in this city for Mingyue Duoduo.
