Attack on Jade Sword Villa

Hearing these words, Gan Feng's vanity instantly soared.

He was secretly delighted, feeling that he had finally waited for this opportunity.

His gaze became heated, carrying a hint of flirtatiousness, and he said, "Miss Zhao, if you truly want to thank me, why not give yourself to me?"

Zhao Yuwei's face instantly darkened upon hearing this.

Her brows furrowed tightly, a hint of disgust flashed in her eyes, and she said sternly, "My heart is already given to Xiao Feng, I have no other thoughts."

Gan Feng was unimpressed after hearing this, the fire of jealousy burning fiercely in his heart.

He curled his lip dismissively and continued to belittle, "What's so good about Xiao Feng, how can he compare to me..."

Before he could finish speaking, Zhao Yuwei had already drawn her sword.

She glared angrily, the tip of her sword pointed directly at Gan Feng, and a chilling Killing Intent emanated from her body.

Gan Feng was so startled by this sudden change that he repeatedly retreated, the smug look on his face completely gone.

Zhao Yuwei did not want to say another word to Gan Feng, she turned around to leave.

She braced her weak body, moving step by step towards the door.

Seeing this, Gan Feng couldn't help but feel a little unbearable.

He advised, "Your body hasn't fully recovered, rest for a while longer."

Zhao Yuwei didn't look back and said resolutely, "No need."

After speaking, she stumbled out of the medical hall.

Gan Feng looked at Zhao Yuwei's weak but stubborn back, his heart filled with mixed feelings.

He hesitated for a moment, but ultimately followed her.

After leaving the medical hall, Zhao Yuwei walked down the street with unsteady steps.

Her face was as pale as paper, and with every step she took, she felt a wave of dizziness, but she gritted her teeth and forced herself to continue forward.

"I must find Xiao Feng..." Zhao Yuwei silently repeated in her heart, this thought supporting her tottering body.

Suddenly, a fierce pain struck, and Zhao Yuwei felt as if her chest was being tightly squeezed by an invisible hand.

She staggered and leaned against the wall by the roadside to barely stand steady.

Large beads of sweat rolled down her forehead, sliding along her pale cheeks.

"No... I can't fall..." Zhao Yuwei bit her lip, forcing herself to endure the pain and continue walking forward.

Just then, a sweet, metallic taste surged up her throat.

Zhao Yuwei quickly covered her mouth, but bright red blood still seeped out from between her fingers, dripping onto the ground.

"Miss Zhao!" Seeing this, Gan Feng quickly stepped forward to support the tottering Zhao Yuwei.

He said urgently, "Your physical condition is too bad, let's go back to the medical hall."

Zhao Yuwei shook her head slightly, "No... I must find Xiao Feng..."

She raised her head, however, as soon as her words fell, everything went black before her eyes, and she softly collapsed.

Gan Feng was quick-witted and caught the unconscious Zhao Yuwei in his arms.

He looked at the pale-faced woman in his embrace, feeling helpless.

"This stubborn girl..." Gan Feng sighed softly, his brows tightly furrowed.

He knew how deep Zhao Yuwei's obsession with finding Xiao Feng was, but her current physical condition was truly too dangerous.

Gan Feng was in a dilemma.

Should he respect Zhao Yuwei's wish and continue searching for Xiao Feng, or should he send her back to recuperate for her safety first?

Finally, Gan Feng took a deep breath and made a decision.

"I'm sorry, Miss Zhao. I know you want to find Xiao Feng the most right now, but your safety is more important." He murmured to himself, "I'll take you back to Hua Yun Sect first, there are better doctors there who can help you recover quickly. When you wake up, we can discuss what to do next."

Having made up his mind, Gan Feng carefully picked up Zhao Yuwei and walked quickly towards the direction of Hua Yun Sect.

"Don't worry, Miss Zhao. I will definitely help you find Xiao Feng." Gan Feng secretly swore in his heart, "But before that, you have to take good care of your body."

Ming Cult.

Xiao Feng slightly narrowed his eyes, his figure hidden behind a thick ancient tree, his gaze as sharp as a hawk's sweeping over the Ming Cult members not far away.

His breathing was light and silent, every subtle movement was cautious, fearing that he would startle the pack of wolf-like Ming Cult followers.

"That old fox Wu Hai, as expected, doesn't have good intentions."

Xiao Feng thought to himself, his brows tightly furrowed.

He saw Wu Hai whispering instructions to a few trusted subordinates, a malicious light flickering in his sinister eyes.

Xiao Feng held his breath, pressing his ear against the tree trunk to try and catch more information.

Suddenly, a gentle breeze blew past, bringing snippets of Wu Hai's words:

"...Bi Jian Villa...in a few days..."

These few words exploded in Xiao Feng's ears like a clap of thunder.

He was startled, his heart pounding. "Not good! Bi Jian Villa is in danger!"

Xiao Feng knew the situation was urgent and immediately took out a communication Jade Slip from his 懷.

He closed his eyes, injected his true energy into the Jade Slip, and quickly transmitted a message: "Brother Jing Shen, Ming Cult's Wu Hai has made a move, possibly targeting Bi Jian Villa, prepare defenses quickly!"

After sending the message, Xiao Feng dared not linger and quietly withdrew from the Ming Cult stronghold.

He secretly prayed that Jing Shen would receive the message in time.

Meanwhile, far away in Bi Jian Villa, Jing Shen was meditating and cultivating in his room.

Suddenly, the jade pendant at his waist vibrated slightly, and a message entered his mind.

Jing Shen's eyes snapped open, his pupils contracting sharply.

He quickly got up, his face full of solemnity.

"Damn it!" He cursed in a low voice, walked quickly out of the room, and headed straight for the Manor Lord's study.

Arriving at the study door, Jing Shen took a deep breath, calmed his rapid breathing, and then pushed the door open.

"Manor Lord, I have an urgent matter to report." Jing Shen's voice carried a hint of tension.

The Manor Lord looked up at Jing Shen, his brows slightly furrowed, "What matter is so urgent?"

Jing Shen stepped forward quickly, lowering his voice, "Just received news that Ming Cult's Wu Hai may be planning something against our Bi Jian Villa."

Upon hearing this, the Manor Lord's face changed drastically.

He suddenly stood up and shouted sternly, "Come! Immediately summon all Elders, the entire mountain is on alert!"

Seeing the Manor Lord's decisiveness, Jing Shen felt a little relieved.

He turned to leave but was stopped by the Manor Lord, "Shen Jing, stay here."

Jing Shen's heart tightened, and he turned around, "Does the Manor Lord have any other instructions?"

The Manor Lord looked deeply at Jing Shen and said slowly, "This news... where did you get it from?"

Jing Shen's heart skipped a beat, but his expression remained calm, "It was... a friend who sent it."

The Manor Lord nodded thoughtfully, not asking any further questions.

Jing Shen breathed a sigh of relief and was about to withdraw when he heard a cold voice from behind:

"Why do you know this news?"

Jing Shen turned back abruptly, only to see Zhuang Wuxia appearing at the door at some point, her gaze as sharp as a knife staring at him.

Jing Shen suppressed the panic in his heart and pretended to be calm, "Miss Zhuang, I just said, it was a friend from the martial world..."

"Nonsense!" Zhuang Wuxia roared angrily, interrupting Jing Shen's words. She strode forward, her eyes burning with fury, "I've known all along that you were the heartless man who betrayed me and ran away back then!"

This sudden accusation left Jing Shen speechless for a moment.
