The priority
Wu Hai nodded slightly, clearing his throat.
He stood on the high platform, waved his hands, and shouted loudly, "In this attack on Bi Jian Villa, we must be like a broken bamboo, flatten that villa, and let everyone know the power of my Ming Cult!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the soldiers below immediately became agitated, raising their weapons high and shouting in unison: "We must take Bi Jian Villa!"
The shouts were like thunder, deafening, and the whole place was shaken.
Just as everyone was boiling with enthusiasm, a solemn figure quietly appeared at the edge of the crowd.
The High Priest walked slowly, dressed in a gray robe, his face calm.
The surrounding soldiers unconsciously made way for him.
The High Priest walked up to Wu Hai, bowed slightly, and said with a solemn expression: "Sect Leader, this old man has important matters to report."
Wu Hai waved his hand to signal everyone to retreat, turned around and asked: "High Priest, what is so urgent?"
The High Priest looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping, then whispered: "Sect Leader, now is not the right time to attack Bi Jian Villa."
Although his voice was low, it carried a weight that could not be ignored.
Wu Hai heard this, frowned slightly, and asked: "Why?"
The High Priest slowly said: "Does the Sect Leader still remember that you are about to marry the Blood Sect? If the Blood Sect knows, wouldn't they think that our Ming Cult doesn't care about this marriage at all?"
Wu Hai was thoughtful and fell into contemplation.
A confidant on the side couldn't help but interrupt: "Sect Leader, the High Priest is wrong! We have strong soldiers and horses, when will we not fight now?"
The High Priest glanced at the confidant, and continued calmly: "Sect Leader, the matter of marriage concerns the overall situation of our cult. If we can use this to win over the Blood Sect and let the Blood Sect help us fight together, we can subdue the enemy without fighting. What's more, if there is any mistake in this attack, it may affect the reputation of our cult."
After hearing this, a trace of hesitation flashed in Wu Hai's eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination.
The High Priest slowly said: "Sect Leader, think about it, Bi Jian Villa has been operating for many years, and the defense must be strict. If we attack rashly, we will definitely suffer heavy losses. Moreover, it is the day of the Holy Maiden's marriage with the Blood Sect soon, which is a major event concerning the future of our cult."
When the High Priest said this, his tone became more sincere: "At this important moment, if unnecessary turmoil is caused by attacking Bi Jian Villa, leading to changes in the marriage, it will not be worth the loss."
The confidant next to Wu Hai heard this and retorted: "High Priest, what are you talking about! We have been preparing for a long time, if we don't attack now, when will we? Do you want the blood of the brothers to cool down?"
Upon hearing this, the High Priest's mouth curved slightly, revealing a profound smile.
He said unhurriedly: "Brother, I understand your eagerness to achieve success. But fighting cannot rely solely on enthusiasm, you must consider the overall situation. The marriage can bring many benefits to our cult. The Blood Sect is powerful, and if the marriage is successful, our Ming Cult will be like a tiger with wings."
When the High Priest said this, he looked directly at the confidant: "But if we cause extra trouble at this critical moment by attacking Bi Jian Villa, the Blood Sect will be dissatisfied, and the marriage will fall through, we will lose this powerful help, how will we stand in the future?"
These words were well-reasoned, with overwhelming momentum, leaving the confidant speechless and defeated.
The confidant stammered for a long time, and finally could only lower his head dejectedly.
Wu Hai fell into deep thought after hearing the High Priest's words.
Hesitation, contemplation, and determination flashed in his eyes.
After a moment, he suddenly raised his head and said loudly: "The High Priest is absolutely right! Stop arguing, and shut up that confidant. After the Holy Maiden's wedding tomorrow, we will make a long-term plan to attack Bi Jian Villa."
Everyone obeyed the order and quieted down.
The next day.
Inside and outside the Ming Cult's mountain gate, it was full of joy.
Red silks fluttered, gongs and drums roared, and the festive atmosphere was everywhere.
The cult members were busy arranging the wedding venue, moving tables and chairs, hanging lanterns and decorating.
Waves of fragrance wafted from the kitchen, where the chefs were meticulously preparing various delicacies.
Su Xueqing sat in front of the dressing table, quietly looking at herself in the bronze mirror.
She was wearing a bright red wedding dress, a phoenix crown on her head, her face like a peach blossom, and her eyebrows like a painting.
"This wedding, do I have to marry even if I don't want to?"
Su Xueqing thought to herself, her fingers trembling slightly.
"No, I will never accept my fate like this. Today is the time for me to fight back!"
Just as Xueqing was lost in thought, a slight sound suddenly came from outside the window.
She looked up vigilantly, only to see a figure flash in like a ghost, landing lightly, it was Xiao Feng.
"Su Xueqing."
Xiao Feng quickly stepped forward and lowered his voice: "Time is urgent, this is the Soul Bewildering Powder I finally got."
Saying that, he took out a crystal clear pill from his Pregnant and carefully handed it to Su Xueqing.
Su Xueqing took the pill and met Xiao Feng's eyes.
"Remember."
Xiao Feng instructed: "When Wu Hai comes, you find an opportunity to crush the pill, and he will fall into a coma."
Su Xueqing nodded solemnly and hid the pill in her sleeve.
"I understand."
She said in a low voice.
"Bang bang bang," there was a sudden rapid knocking sound.
Xiao Feng's face changed, and he quickly flashed behind the screen.
"Miss, the Vice Leader is here!"
The maid's voice came from outside the door.
Su Xueqing took a deep breath and quickly adjusted her expression.
"Please come in."
She said softly, her voice trembling slightly.
The door opened, and Wu Hai strode in.
He was wearing a luxurious wedding dress, with a dignified appearance and sharp eyes.
"Su Xueqing."
He said with a smile: "You are truly beautiful today."
Su Xueqing lowered her head, and tears suddenly welled up in her eyes.
"Sect Leader Wu."
She choked and said: "I am about to get married, but Wu Yang's Father has not appeared, I miss him so much..."
Upon hearing this, a trace of imperceptible gloom flashed across Wu Hai's face, but it was quickly replaced by a gentle smile.
"Xueqing."
He comforted softly: "Wu Yang's Father will be out of seclusion soon, and you will definitely be reunited. Don't be too sad, today is your big day."
Su Xueqing raised her head and looked at Wu Hai with teary eyes.
Her hand quietly reached into her sleeve and held the crucial pill.
She was afraid of being noticed by Wu Hai.
Just as Wu Hai turned to look out the window, she suddenly squeezed the pill.
However, Wu Hai seemed to have noticed something unusual, reacted extremely quickly, and instantly reached out and grabbed Su Xueqing's wrist.
A cold light flashed in his eyes, his eyes widened in anger, and he exuded a suffocating pressure.
"How dare you, you dare to plot against me!"
Wu Hai roared angrily, his voice like thunder.
Seeing her plan exposed, Su Xueqing no longer pretended.
She suddenly withdrew her hand, and at the same time, a fierce palm wind struck towards Wu Hai's face.
The palm wind howled, carrying a biting coldness.
But Su Xueqing's martial arts were far inferior to Wu Hai's.
Wu Hai sneered, and with a casual wave, a powerful force sent Su Xueqing flying.
