47: Strange tea shop

“Not only can you not eat it, Situ Jiu, Zhang Qing, and Nie Mingjue can’t either!” Li Changfeng’s expression was grim.

“Sect Master, what do you mean?” Nie Mingjue asked, puzzled.

He was starving the entire way here!

But he couldn't even eat?

What should he do?

“Hehe, I knew it, Master loves me the most!” Chen An’an ate her snacks with big bites.

She nodded, very satisfied.

“Master!” Nan Qingyue was displeased.

“An’an can eat these snacks, but none of you can!” Li Changfeng said with a dark expression.

“Why not?!” Zhang Qing snorted.

This favoritism was too severe!

How could he act like this?

Li Changfeng stretched out his hand, pointing at the Errant boys not far away.

“There’s something wrong with these snacks!” Li Changfeng’s face was grim.

“What! Something’s wrong?!” Chen An’an’s expression changed.

“Master, you heartless person!”

“You let me eat it even though there’s a problem?”

Chen An’an quickly spat it out!

Her face changed, looking very unsightly.

But just then, she felt dizzy and drowsy, and she slumped onto the table, falling asleep.

Seeing this scene,

Nan Qingyue’s face was grim, and she looked up, scanning her surroundings.

“Be careful, there’s something wrong with this tea shop,” Nan Qingyue kindly warned.

“Master, how is Miss Chen?”

“Will she…?”

Li Changfeng looked calm.

“It’s nothing, don’t worry, An’an will be fine.” Li Changfeng reached out his hand, pointing at the Errant boys not far away.

“These snacks contain Spirit Dispersion Pills. If a cultivator eats them, their spiritual energy will dissipate completely.”

“If I’m not mistaken, there are people from Pingliang in this tea shop!”

The goal of these people was simple: to prevent the Divine Sword Sect disciples from participating in the Immortal Sect Tournament.

And just then,

the Errant boys at the tea shop counter glanced over.

Li Changfeng held up his hand, making a shushing gesture.

“Don’t say anything more, prepare to act!” Li Changfeng showed a serious expression.

Nan Qingyue and Situ Jiu both nodded vigorously.

And just then,

the Errant boys stepped forward, coming directly to Li Changfeng’s side.

“Sir, this is the tea from our shop. Please enjoy,” the Errant boys chuckled.

He revealed a malicious smile.

This expression was naturally caught by Li Changfeng.

“How about this?” Li Changfeng pulled the Errant boys directly to sit down, “Little Brother, you’ve worked hard. Why don’t you join us for tea?”

“Little Brother, don’t be shy, come!”

As Li Changfeng spoke, he directly filled a cup of tea and pushed it in front of the Errant boys.

And just then,

the Errant boys’s expression changed, and he gasped.

“Sir, please don’t joke! This tea cannot be drunk!” The Errant boys quickly pushed the tea back.

“What? You don’t dare to drink it?” Nan Qingyue questioned coldly.

After hearing this, the Errant boys’s eyes narrowed sharply, and his heart trembled.

It seemed these people already knew there was something in the tea!

But only this girl had eaten the snacks?

They hadn't eaten any?

This was troublesome!

“Of course I don’t dare! This tea is for guests. If we drink it too, I’m afraid it wouldn’t be good! The shopkeeper would definitely scold me!” The Errant boys quickly reached out to decline.

But Li Changfeng pulled the Errant boys over with one hand.

Through forceful means, he directly made the Errant boys sit down.

“Come on, drink!” Li Changfeng’s lips curled into a grim smile.

Immediately, he picked up the teacup and poured it directly into the Errant boys’s mouth.

And just then,

the Errant boys quickly pushed Li Changfeng away, retreating several steps.

He showed a look of panic.

“Sir, don’t do this!” The Errant boys’s pupils contracted sharply, and he was extremely flustered!

“What? What are you afraid of?” Li Changfeng’s lips curled, and he stared at the Errant boys, “This tea won’t kill you!”

The Errant boys quickly wiped the tea from the corner of his mouth, clenching his fists tightly.

At this moment, the Errant boys didn’t know how to explain.

“What are you dawdling for? Go serve the customers!” A middle-aged man walked out, looking like the owner of the tea shop.

“Yes, Boss, I’m going now!” The Errant boys nodded vigorously, not daring to show any slack.

He turned around and returned to the counter, preparing teacups and teapots to attend to customers.

The Boss moved with light steps, coming directly in front of Li Changfeng.

“Just now, this Errant boys was not observant of rules and caused trouble for you all! I’m truly sorry!” The Boss had a smiling face.

“It’s nothing. As long as you drink this tea, what happened before will be forgotten!” Li Changfeng was not polite; he directly handed over the cup of tea.

At this moment,

Nan Qingyue, Zhang Qing, Situ Jiu, and Nie Mingjue, all four pairs of eyes stared intently at the Boss.

They were waiting for an answer.

“Alright, since that’s the case, then I’ll respectfully obey!”

The Boss chuckled, stepping forward.

He picked up the teacup, tilted his head back, and drank it all in one gulp, looking quite calm.

“Is the guest satisfied now?” The Boss deliberately turned the teacup over to show Li Changfeng.

“Satisfied, satisfied. Since that’s the case, let’s drop the matter.” Li Changfeng nodded vigorously.

The Boss cupped his hands, “Guest, I’ll take my leave first!”

“Alright.” Li Changfeng nodded.

After turning to watch the Boss leave, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Nan Qingyue’s eyes lit up, and she spoke softly. “Master, then can we use this tea now?”

“The Boss drank it, so there shouldn’t be a problem, right?”

“Could it be that we were overthinking?”

Li Changfeng sneered, his heart clear as a mirror.

After a long while, Li Changfeng picked up the teacup and brought it to his lips.

And just then,

his gaze swept over, staring at the Boss.

Bang!

With a crisp sound,

the teacup fell from Li Changfeng’s hand, smashing onto the ground!

In just an instant, it shattered into pieces.

A cold glint burst from the Boss’s eyes; he looked up, and a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

“Guest, what happened? Are you hurt?” The Boss lightly tapped his foot.

Immediately, he quickly turned his head, looking towards the source of the sound.

“It’s nothing, nothing, I just couldn’t hold it.” Li Changfeng chuckled.

“You’re not hurt, are you?” The Boss asked anxiously.

“It’s nothing, Boss, you go back to your work.” Li Changfeng waved his hand.

A cold glint burst from Nan Qingyue’s eyes; she looked up, staring intently at Li Changfeng.

Her heart was clear as a mirror, and she had an idea.

The Boss nodded, and he immediately turned around.

He left once again.

“Master, there’s a problem here. Just now, when you dropped the cup, the surrounding customers moved. I saw one person, he had a knife on him!” Nan Qingyue whispered into his ear.

Upon receiving this information,

Li Changfeng’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Good, I know.”

“Master, did you discover it early on?” Nan Qingyue asked curiously.

Li Changfeng didn’t say much; he nodded.
