111: One mission in Chapter 111 has been completed!

The four of them ventured deeper along the passage.

Qin Hongye remained at the second-floor sniping position to guard the vehicle, Shen Wanxing stayed in the car preparing to collect the remains after the battle, and Shen Wanbing provided Radar guidance throughout.

The passage split at its end.

The left path led to the first resource-dense area marked by Yi Chang, while the right led deeper.

Chen Chen chose the left.

After walking less than fifty meters, the passage ahead suddenly widened, revealing a massive workshop behind a half-collapsed blast door.

Inside the workshop—three Stitch-Monsters.

But these three were on a completely different level compared to the ones Blood Rose had just killed.

Each stood over four meters tall.

They had six arms, two of which were steel prosthetics welded onto their mutated flesh using some unknown technology.

Their chest cavities were exposed, with dark red energy cores pulsing inside.

Three of them, all at the peak of Tier 2.

Blood Rose took a step back.

Poison mist was significantly less effective against Stitch-Monsters of this size.

Chen Chen did not slow down.

The void-rending ship-slaying blade was unsheathed, and Mental Power poured into the blade's body.

Purple patterns flared from the hilt to the tip as the miniature gravity module reached its resonance threshold.

Pure physical output.

A single-handed horizontal swing.

A purple gravity pulse released from the edge, a visible arc of energy tearing through the air. It sliced into the waist of the first Stitch-Monster—pierced through—sliced into the second—pierced through—and sliced into the third.

Three flashes of purple light.

The upper and lower halves of the three Stitch-Monsters were separated.

Six sections of mangled bodies slammed onto the ground, and even the thirty-centimeter-thick load-bearing wall behind them was neatly sliced with a horizontal line.

The upper half of the wall crashed forward, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Jiang Yanxue's hand, gripping her blade, trembled slightly.

This was because she had been staring at Chen Chen's sword movements the whole time—that fifteen-degree inward wrist rotation for power was exactly the same as what he had taught her on the bed an hour ago.

Su Xiaoqi hopped over and squatted next to the remains of the three Stitch-Monsters, digging out the cores with both hands.

She pulled out three dark red cores and tossed them into her mouth one by one, chewing them with a loud crunch.

Her energy halo surged, brightening by a whole shade.

Her T-shirt became tight, strained by the expanding energy within her body, and the exaggerated curve of her chest swayed as she let out a satisfied burp.

Su Xiaoqi wiped the grease from the corner of her mouth and, with her face slick with oil, gave Chen Chen two thumbs up.

“Brother is so fierce!”

...

Su Xiaoqi burped and swallowed the last of the core fragments.

Chen Chen sheathed the void-rending ship-slaying blade, and the purple patterns faded.

The remains of the three peak Tier 2 Stitch-Monsters lay scattered across the floor.

“Sister Bing, give me the specific location of the first resource-dense area.”

Shen Wanbing's voice came through the communicator: “Forty meters straight ahead. Pass through this workshop and take the third cubicle on the right. Yi Chang's hand-drawn map marks that place as the former energy relay station of the underground factory.”

“Heat signatures?”

“None for now. However, there is continuous weak electromagnetic interference inside the station, reducing Radar penetration by forty percent. Blind spots cannot be ruled out.”

Chen Chen started walking forward.

Jiang Yanxue followed, her Shadow Instant-Kill Blade held horizontally at her side.

The effect of the three-point increase in agility was extremely intuitive—her step frequency was half a beat faster than an hour ago, and her feet made almost no sound on the iron plates.

Blood Rose walked at the rear, spinning a high-frequency dagger between her fingers. Her long boots stepped over the remains of the Stitch-Monsters; a few drops of green body fluid splashed onto her leather skirt, and she wrinkled her nose, rubbing it off with her sleeve.

At the end of the workshop, right turn, third cubicle.

A rusty iron door was half-open, one hinge broken, the door panel hanging crookedly.

Chen Chen kicked it open.

The space inside was much larger than expected.

It was indeed an energy relay station.

The walls were densely covered with pipelines and interfaces, most of which had broken off and were dangling in mid-air.

Various discarded parts, scrapped circuit boards, and several half-disassembled industrial machines were scattered on the floor.

There were two transformer cabinets in the corner, their casings rusted through with irregular holes.

But the central main control console was still there.

A three-meter-wide metal console. Although its casing was covered in scratches and rust spots, its overall structure was intact.

The instrument panels on the surface were all dark, except for a faint red light flashing on the far right, indicating some residual power inside.

Chen Chen walked to the console and bent down to look at the nameplate at the bottom.

It bore a standard military serial number, with 'Energy Transfer and Component Allocation' marked at the end.

The core component the proprietress wanted was most likely inside this console.

“Sister Bing, can you scan the internal structure of the console?”

“Barely.”

Shen Wanbing paused for two seconds. “There is an independent sealed chamber inside, approximately thirty by twenty by fifteen centimeters. The energy signature highly matches the sample the proprietress showed you.”

“Location?”

“The third compartment behind the console's rear panel. You'll need to tear open the casing.”

Chen Chen didn't look for tools.

He raised his right hand and hooked his fingers into the edge of the console's rear panel.

The metal panel let out a piercing screech as rivets snapped one by one. He ripped the entire panel off the back of the console.

The wiring and circuit boards inside were exposed.

First layer, transformer module—useless.

Second layer, data storage unit—unneeded.

Third layer—a black sealed chamber embedded in a reinforced bracket, locked down by six alloy bolts.

The surface of the sealed chamber had a military top-secret seal, shimmering with a dark blue anti-counterfeit glow.

Chen Chen grabbed both sides of the sealed chamber and pulled hard.

The metal of the reinforced bracket groaned as it deformed, and the bolts were forcibly ripped from their sockets.

The sealed chamber was in his hands.

He pried open the lid with the back of his blade.

Inside was a fist-sized ring component. Its outer shell was made of deep blue mana-conducting purple copper, and its inner core emitted a faint, ghostly blue light—the energy purity was extremely high, and the craftsmanship was visibly precise.

The system notification sounded.

[Mission Item Obtained: Grade A Energy Relay Core Component ×1]

[Commission Progress Updated: Core Component (1/1 Completed) | Material Refining Furnace (0/1 Incomplete)]

One of the proprietress's two commission objectives had been secured.

Chen Chen stuffed the core component into his silver-grade storage ring and looked around the relay station.

“See if there's anything else valuable. Three minutes. Clean it out.”

Jiang Yanxue and Blood Rose split up to search.

They pulled several usable circuit boards and a bundle of Grade B conducting wires from the two transformer cabinets.

From a pile of parts in the corner, they found two unopened military battery packs.

Su Xiaoqi had no interest in these things; she squatted on the ground, using her fingernails to pick at the crystalline shards on the Stitch-Monster's carapace.

Shen Wanxing poked half her head out from the passage entrance.

Wearing flat boots, she walked cautiously into the relay station, holding the hem of her silver evening gown high for fear of it touching the oil stains on the floor.

“Is there anything I can help with?”

“Come here.” Chen Chen beckoned to her. “Touch this pile of parts.”

Shen Wanxing obediently walked over and squatted in front of the pile of discarded parts.

She reached out, her fair, tender fingers touching a scrapped turbine blade.

No reaction.

She touched a rusted gear.

No reaction.

The third piece was a section of broken alloy pipe.

The moment her finger touched it—

Golden light exploded.

The entire relay station was illuminated by a pillar of golden light.

The broken alloy pipe deformed and reorganized within the golden light. The rust layer on its surface peeled off like ice meeting hot water, revealing the pure metallic luster beneath.

System notifications rang out in rapid succession.

[God-Tier Talent · Lucky Critical Triggered!]

[Reward Advancement Probability Triggered!]

[Obtained: High-Order Memory Damping Alloy ×3!]

Shen Wanxing was startled by the golden light and sat back, her bottom landing on the cold iron plate.

She held the three blocks of metal, which emitted a silvery-white luster, and stared blankly for two seconds.

“Is... is it another critical?”
