136: Last Cry for Help

The misty gray Qi, thick as a heavy veil, slowly and silently spread, tightly enveloping this corner that seemed to have been forgotten by the world, creating a hazy and mysterious atmosphere.

In this Chaos of gray fog, sparks of fierce battle erupted from time to time, like the most dazzling stars in the night sky, brief and brilliant, illuminating everything around them, then quickly fading into the endless darkness.

Three quasi S-rank Devil Kings, standing at the Peak of power, their eyes gleamed with madness and determination, as if driven by some primal wildness.

However, beneath this Chaos and madness, an inexplicable tacit understanding flowed between the three, making their every coordinated attack exceptionally precise, like a dance of death rehearsed countless times on a stage, every movement and every impact filled with deadly beauty.

Among them, the Dark Knight, clad in Black Armor, his figure moved lightly across the battlefield, almost merging with the surrounding shadows, leaving only illusory afterimages.

The longsword in his hand, sharp and emitting a cold gleam, each swing accompanied by a series of sharp, ear-piercing wind cries, like the most biting cold wind in a winter night.

The Sword Qi pointed, aiming at Luna Fairy Spirit's vital points, its speed as swift as a venomous snake striking, making it impossible to guard against, forcing her to dodge by instinct.

At the same time, the colossal eyeball monster with countless tentacles danced in the air; each of its tentacles was exceptionally flexible, as if forged from the hardest steel by a skilled craftsman, both tough and pliable.

These tentacles intertwined and coiled in the air, weaving into an impenetrable giant net, tightly restricting Luna Fairy Spirit's every graceful and agile flight, making every attempt to escape incredibly difficult, as if her freedom had been completely stripped away by invisible shackles.

On the other side of the battlefield, Iron-Blooded Mad Dragon's roar was deafening; his roar seemed to shake the entire Universe, an invisible Aura surged forth overwhelmingly.

With his roar, scorching flames, like a doomsday inferno, erupted from his mouth, sweeping across the entire battlefield, even the air was distorted by the high temperature, presenting strange ripples. Within the flames, destruction and Rebirth coexisted, displaying a breathtaking spectacle.

Under this relentless and fierce offensive, even Luna Fairy Spirit couldn't help but feel physically and mentally exhausted.

Each of her dodges and counterattacks seemed to expend all her strength; though her fairy body was powerful, it was difficult to resist the continuous pressure.

As time passed by, Luna's battle became increasingly difficult; her figure flickered in the interplay of light and shadow, appearing particularly lonely and helpless.

The protective barrier around her emitted a faint yet firm light, like the gentlest Guardian in the night, striving to resist externalinvasion.

However, even though her magic power was unfathomable, facing this combined assault, she gradually felt her strength was insufficient.

“My magic… is about to run dry…”

A sense of unprecedented urgency surged within Luna Fairy Spirit; the loss of magic power was like fine sand in an hourglass, silent but unstoppable.

She knew that before it was completely depleted, she had to find a glimmer of hope, otherwise, this battlefield would become her eternal resting place.

“To escape this place alone is nothing short of a fool's dream.” She mused inwardly, a determined glint flashing in her eyes. “I must find help, otherwise…”

Han Fei's name surfaced in her mind, becoming her only hope.

“But with his current strength, rashly involving him in this catastrophe would likely only push him into a dangerous abyss.”

Luna knew the gravity of Han Fei's mission; he carried a great Luck capable of overturning destiny, and theoretically should be able to turn misfortune into fortune.

However, at this critical juncture of life and death, any accident could lead to irreversible consequences.

The inner struggle surged like a tide, making it difficult for Luna Fairy Spirit to decide whether to send a distress signal to Han Fei.

Just as she hesitated, the Dark Knight trio's offensive intensified, each strike carrying an Aura of destruction, leaving Luna Fairy Spirit almost no time for other thoughts, forcing her to focus entirely on the life-and-death struggle before her.

“I must make a decision quickly…”

The immense pressure left Luna Fairy Spirit with almost no time to think.

“Perhaps I can only…”

The moment she made her decision, countless images flashed through Luna Fairy Spirit's mind.

Past laughter, the hardships of battle, and the comrades who had fought alongside her but had already fallen.

These memories streaked across her brilliant starry eyes like meteors, finally condensing into a look of determination.

“Let's fight one last time; if it really doesn't work…”

Thinking this, a hint of determination shone in Luna Fairy Spirit's brilliant starry eyes.

She decided to unleash an incredibly powerful Forbidden Magic.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly raised her hands, as if embracing the entire starry sky; ancient and mysterious incantations flowed from her lips, each syllable carrying heavy history and endless power.

These incantations, like ancient calls, traversed the shackles of time and space, echoing between heaven and earth, awakening the primal magical energy slumbering within all things.

As the incantations deepened, Luna Fairy Spirit's body began to emit dazzling light, which gradually converged to form a vast and complex magic array.

This magic array not only covered the ground but also outlined mysterious totems in the Void Realm; every interwoven ray of light made the air tremble, as if even the Laws of time and space quivered before this power.

Sensing this approaching threat, Iron-Blooded Mad Dragon, Dark Knight, and the giant eyeball monster for the first time showed fear in their eyes.

Their attacks became even more ferocious; sharp claws, black fog, and destructive energy beams intertwined into a net of death, attempting to devour Luna before she could complete her Forbidden Magic.

However, Luna Fairy Spirit's figure became hazy under the magic array's illumination, as if she had merged into the torrent of the Universe, becoming a part of heaven and earth.

Her existence became both illusory and real, a manifestation of the perfect Fusion of life and magic, and her last pride and glory as a Luna Fairy Spirit.

“Ultimate Destruction!”

Accompanied by this low and firm whisper, Luna Fairy Spirit's figure trembled slightly from the excessive overdraft of life force, but her eyes were like two inextinguishable flames, burning with a desire for victory and contempt for her powerful enemies.

She violently waved her arm, as if conducting a cosmic symphony; all condensed magic power found its destination at this moment, transforming into a destructive pillar of light, dozens of meters in diameter, which erupted with a roar, directly targeting the three quasi S-rank Devil Kings.

This pillar of light tore through the sky, its immense power ripping jagged cracks in the continuous space, like an omen of the end of the world.

Facing this irresistible power, Iron-Blooded Mad Dragon, Dark Knight, and the giant eyeball monster all showed unprecedented panic; they leaped backward with all their might, trying to escape this certain death sentence.

The pillar of light drew a brilliant and dazzling trajectory in the air, finally striking Iron-Blooded Mad Dragon's chest.

Although he vigorously flapped his wings burning with raging flames, intending to block this fatal blow, the pillar of light, like a blade that pierced through everything, easily penetrated his defense, sending this once arrogant Devil King flying hundreds of meters away.

Iron-Blooded Mad Dragon tumbled in the air, letting out a deafening roar, and finally crashed heavily to the ground, raising a cloud of dust that obscured the sky; at that moment, the earth seemed to tremble.

Dark Knight and the giant eyeball monster seized Luna Fairy Spirit's momentary Divided Soul, launching a combined assault without hesitation, attempting to end the battle in this flash of lightning.

The Dark Knight's figure flickered in the gloom; the longsword in his hand, like the most deadly viper in the night, gleamed with cold light, cutting through the air at an incredible speed, stabbing directly at Luna Fairy Spirit's vital point; the air itself seemed to be torn by this sharp Sword Qi, emitting a faint whistling sound.

At the same time, ripples of disgust spread across the surface of the giant eyeball monster's body; its eyes gleamed with cunning, and dozens of thick, chain-like tentacles suddenly shot out from its side, carrying a destructive force, attempting to weave an impenetrable net to firmly trap Luna Fairy Spirit in despair.

The tentacles were slippery and slimy, each like an independent predator, restless and emitting an ominous Aura.

Facing this sudden dual crisis, Luna Fairy Spirit's reaction was exceptionally calm and agile.

She lightly parted her red lips, chanting ancient and mysterious incantations; in an instant, a gust of strong wind rose from nowhere, transforming into an extremely sharp wind blade, which met the Dark Knight's longsword with thunderous force.

The wind blade and the sword's edge clashed, emitting a sharp metallic clang; the originally unstoppable sword tip was actually forced off its trajectory.

Immediately after, Luna Fairy Spirit condensed a crystal-clear ice arrow, emitting a bone-chilling cold, from her fingertips, aiming at the giant eyeball monster's tentacles; the arrow left the string, trailing a faint blue trajectory, instantly piercing through several tentacles, leaving a series of wounds with scattered ice crystals.

However, these tentacles seemed to possess incredible vitality; where they were severed by the ice arrow, they quickly healed and regenerated new tentacles.

The eyeball monster's low roar was filled with anger and disdain; more tentacles surged out like a tide, once again shrouding the battlefield in a shadow of death.

At this moment, Luna Fairy Spirit clearly felt the dual exhaustion of physical strength and magic power; each breath was accompanied by intense pain, as if every cell in her body was resisting this overloaded use.

But her eyes remained clear and resolute, without the slightest hint of retreat.

Facing the surging torrent of tentacles again, she braced herself with her last remaining strength, quickly forming hand seals, summoning a protective barrier that glowed with a faint light, attempting to use it as her final line of defense.

However, those tentacles, hard as steel and carrying destructive power, easily tore this fragile barrier to shreds.

They coiled tightly around Luna Fairy Spirit's body like greedy pythons, their immense strength almost squeezing her bones to emit sounds of unbearable strain.

“I cannot give up; before defeating the Devil King, I absolutely cannot fall like this!”

Luna Fairy Spirit let out a deafening cry in her heart; though her voice did not pass her lips, it thundered deep within her soul like lightning.

Her eyes gleamed with an unyielding light, like the brightest star in the night sky, determined to illuminate the Dao forward even in the abyss of despair.

Using every last ounce of her remaining strength, she raised her hands high, and a faint blue cold light blossomed from her fingertips.

Immediately, a frost explosion, imbued with biting cold, erupted from her palm, carrying the resolve to shatter all obstacles, attempting to break free from the invisible shackles binding her.

The power of the frost explosion shook all directions; where the cold Qi passed, tiny ice crystals condensed in the air, as if even time was frozen by this power.

However, the giant eyeball monster with countless slimy tentacles seemed to disdain this power; its tentacles, like tough iron chains, stubbornly coiled around Luna even under this icyseal up, refusing to loosen in the slightest.

To make matters worse, the Dark Knight, like an envoy of death, approached silently.

His longsword glowed with a faint cold light in the dimness; its tip, like a venomous snake striking, was swift and precise, stabbing directly at Luna Fairy Spirit's vital point.

Between life and death, Luna Fairy Spirit's will was pushed to its limit; a look of determination flashed in her eyes, and using her last shred of magic power, her lips moved slightly, murmuring an ancient and mysterious incantation: “Wrath of the Storm!”

As the incantation fell, the surrounding air seemed to be imbued with life, rapidly swirling to form a vortex, which then transformed into a violent storm; at the eye of the storm was Luna's resolute figure.

The storm's power was overwhelming; the tentacles that tightly bound her snapped one after another under the storm's rampage, like dry branches breaking in a gale.

At the same time, the deadly longsword was deflected by the storm's power, grazing Luna's clothes, leaving only a shallow scratch.

The giant eyeball monster let out a muffled growl of pain; its tentacles instantly retracted, and its massive body curled up, temporarily retreating, buying Luna precious time to catch her breath.

Utilizing this brief calm, Luna Fairy Spirit stretched her body, like a white crane flying in the air, lightly leaping backward, creating a safe distance from her enemies.

Upon landing, she gasped faintly, her face as pale as paper, her magic power almost depleted, but her eyes remained firm.

“Am I really going to fall here?” A sense of ineffable sorrow surged within Luna Fairy Spirit; she gently caressed her weak body, sighing silently.

“No, I cannot die like this; before witnessing the end of the Devil King with my own eyes, I must live, for those who have died, and for myself!”

After silently apologizing to Han Fei in her heart, Luna Fairy Spirit concentrated, gathered her remaining magic power, and sent an urgent magical message in the direction of her heart.

The message crossed the spatial barrier, carrying her last hope, flying towards Han Fei.

“Come save me, I'm dying.”
