77: First arrived in Shengjing!

Stepping into the Formation, Xia Qi felt like he had been teleporting for a long time, unlike the few seconds it took to teleport from Jiangcheng to Yuzhang City.

The map of the Dragon Country is vast and expansive, making it one of the strongest nations among the Human Race.

Shengjing University in Kyoto City is thousands of kilometers away from Yuzhang City.

Even with teleportation, it still takes some time.

Broken streams of light continuously flashed past his eyes.

Xia Qi could see some strange scenes from the fragments.

This feeling was very peculiar; although he clearly saw something, it also felt as if he saw nothing at all.

Here, one would have a sense of absurdity, where everything seemed like a dream, feeling very unreal.

Formation Masters are truly miraculous existences.

Xia Qi couldn't help but exclaim in his heart.

It was a pity that the talents he copied did not include the talent of a Formation Master; otherwise, he would have liked to experience how profound the power of Formation truly was.

After about ten-odd seconds, the sensation of his feet touching the ground appeared.

All the strange feelings vanished without a trace at this moment.

Xia Qi had arrived in Kyoto City from the distant Yuzhang City, Xijiang Province.

Stepping out of the Formation and asking the local teleporter, Xia Qi set off towards the address of Shengjing University.

Unlike Yuzhang City, Kyoto City, as the capital of the Dragon Country, was filled with towering buildings, bustling traffic, and throngs of people.

In the warm morning sun, it appeared exceptionally prosperous.

“Shengjing University!”

After half an hour of wandering, Xia Qi, munching on a hand-grabbed pancake he bought on the way, found this top-ranked university in the country.

The school gate was magnificent, dozens of meters high and hundreds of meters wide.

It was carved with Dragons and Phoenixes, and there were many profound runes on the gate.

This gate is said to be a product of the era before the nationwide Awakening, over a thousand years ago.

With just one glance, Xia Qi was drawn in by the historical Aura emanating from it.

Just a gate alone made one feel deeply shocked.

It made one feel how insignificant they were in the presence of such ancient traces of time.

“Xia Qi, Xijiang Province National Champion, National Champion, admitted, you may pass.”

Under the shocked gaze of the guard, Xia Qi was allowed to enter.

The campus in the early morning was full of vigor.

Xia Qi walked on the tree-lined path, looking at the university students coming and going.

From them, he could sense quite a few terrifyingly powerful existences.

“Indeed, there are always people stronger than you, and there is always a higher heaven. The Awakened ones at Shengjing University are much stronger than those outside.”

Xia Qi sighed inwardly, his gaze merely sweeping over the crowd, yet it attracted quite a bit of attention.

These people had very keen senses.

“Hey, are you a freshman?”

A silvery voice rang out, and a youthful and beautiful girl came before Xia Qi.

Xia Qi stopped, his body instinctively taking a defensive posture.

This woman gave him a strong feeling.

“That’s right, you’re a freshman, haha.”

“My name is Luo Zisheng. Don’t be afraid. Are you looking for the registration building?”

Luo Zisheng smiled slightly. Her smile was sweet and gave off the feeling of a caring elder sister, making people unconsciously feel good about her.

Xia Qi nodded; he was indeed looking for the registration building.

“It’s only eight o’clock now. You came too early, but it’s okay. Your big sister here is familiar with the place. I’ll take you.”

Luo Zisheng turned her head, her tied ponytail swinging beautifully. Xia Qi didn’t feel any malice from her, and after thinking about it, he followed her, which saved him a lot of trouble asking for directions.

“That’s the sports field, that’s the training hall, and over there is the cafeteria. Let me tell you, the food at Shengjing University’s cafeteria is really delicious; I guarantee you’ll want to eat more after trying it.”

“This side is the teachers’ dormitory, and those buildings in the distance, do you see them? Those are the student dormitories.”

“I didn’t expect your head-turn rate to be so high; many girls are looking at you.”

“Hey, why aren’t you talking? Is it your first time in another city, and you feel too unfamiliar?”

Along the way, Luo Zisheng enthusiastically introduced the situation of Shengjing University to Xia Qi without stopping.

Xia Qi just nodded and didn't interact much.

It wasn't that he didn't want to talk, but facing the incessantly chattering Luo Zisheng, he didn't know where to pick up the conversation.

“We’re here. This is the freshman registration department.”

Shengjing University was ridiculously large; the two walked for almost half an hour before Xia Qi finally followed Luo Zisheng to the freshman registration department.

“That was quite a distance,” Xia Qi said with a wry smile.

“Oh, so you can talk! I thought you were one of those people who couldn’t speak.”

Luo Zisheng showed a surprised expression, making Xia Qi feel a little embarrassed.

“Thank you, Senior Sister.”

Xia Qi thanked her.

“You’re welcome, go on in quickly.”

“Okay, then.”

After a series of thanks, Xia Qi walked into the registration building under Luo Zisheng’s gaze.

“Strange, why does this freshman look a bit like someone?”

Luo Zisheng looked at Xia Qi’s back. All along the way, she kept feeling that Xia Qi resembled someone very familiar.

It was only after Xia Qi left that she remembered: Xia Qi’s appearance was somewhat similar to Xia Dongliu’s.

“Oh no, I’m going to be late for my morning class!”

Glancing at the time, Luo Zisheng exclaimed.

Immediately after, the energy within her body surged, and she directly vanished from her spot.

“A freshman? You came quite early. What’s your name?”

“Xia Qi.”

“Xia Qi? Wait a moment, I think I’ve heard that name.”

“I remember now! You’re this year’s National Champion in the college entrance examination. Amazing!”

The instructor at the registration department adjusted his glasses and said in a surprised tone.

The next second, his tone became very polite.

“Student Xia Qi, please wait a moment while I register you.”

“Alright, you have successfully registered. Congratulations on becoming a member of Shengjing University.”

Xia Qi calmly nodded. “Thank you, teacher. What should I do next?”

“Next, we need to arrange your dormitory. Do you know where the dormitory area is? Never mind, it’s still early, I’ll personally take you there.”

The instructor led Xia Qi out of the registration department.

“By the way, where do you want to live?”

“We have many options here.”

Shengjing University is not only large in terms of its campus, but its residential area is also very extensive.

When walking with Luo Zisheng earlier, Xia Qi had specifically taken a few extra glances. The dormitory area consisted of several-story detached villas.

There were no tall collective dormitories at all.

“There are three types of dormitories: four-person, double, and single dormitories.”

“All dormitories are equipped with Cultivation rooms and entertainment rooms. Basically, all the conditions you need can be met.”

The instructor introduced it in great detail, and Xia Qi was a little tempted after listening.

“However, there’s one thing: accommodation at our school requires a fee. Is that okay with you?”

“It’s to be expected.”

Xia Qi indicated that he had no problems with it.

These villas with Cultivation rooms, of different types, also had vastly different prices.
