465: I've fallen for it; it turns out it was all a setup.

Su Chen found this situation hard to accept.

The most crucial thing was that he couldn't even summon the System.

Why was this happening?

Since his Transmigration, this had seemingly never occurred before.

How could the System possibly disappear?

Was everything he had experienced up until now just a dream?

Su Chen stood up from the deep pit and looked around. The area was utterly silent, devoid even of air, and naturally, without any living creatures. The sky was incredibly dim.

Faces flashed through his mind: Lin Yimeng, Ning Yan, Mu Xin... familiar figures appearing one after another.

Su Chen was stunned.

The power that had vanished from his body, coupled with the scene before him, made him start to doubt his life.

What exactly was going on?

Su Chen tried to sense the power within his body, but his Divine Sense had completely vanished. Aside from his Physical Body still being very strong, he was now virtually indistinguishable from a Mortal.

He couldn't perform internal inspection, nor could he see the condition of his body.

No matter what method he used, he couldn't inspect the situation inside his body.

Confusion and bewilderment flashed in Su Chen's eyes.

In the end, he could only wander aimlessly in this world, hoping to find a solution.

But the current Immortal Realm was just a world, an immensely huge world.

Su Chen walked for an unknown duration—perhaps ten thousand years, perhaps one Epoch, or perhaps a hundred Epochs.

He didn't know how much time had passed.

Without cultivation, although his Physical Body was still fine, relying solely on his physical strength, he might not have walked even one millionth of the Immortal Realm in all these years.

The entire world was dim, without living creatures or anything capable of movement.

At this moment, Su Chen's emotions felt as if they had returned to the silent, dead space he was in when he first Transmigrated.

The current situation seemed much the same.

It made him feel somewhat desperate.

The scenery between heaven and earth was uniform; no matter how far he walked, he couldn't see anything unusual.

He kept walking.

Su Chen was like an emotionless machine, numbly walking forward.

"I must go back."

Su Chen muttered this intermittently. He didn't know how many years he had been here, but he still hadn't given up.

The smiling faces of his wives in his mind prevented him from giving up.

No matter the method, he had to leave.

Here, he couldn't perceive the passage of time.

Su Chen didn't know how long he had walked, but the scene before him remained unchanged, identical to the very beginning, as if he were just spinning in place.

Su Chen's body was hunched, long whiskers had grown out, and his once bright clothes had long since become tattered beyond recognition.

He continued walking forward.

Su Chen's mind was muddled. Perhaps due to the immense passage of time, he had completely forgotten the figures in his mind, remembering only that someone was waiting for him to return.

He kept walking.

Su Chen never stopped. His steps were faltering, his body growing weaker, and he was nothing but skin and bones—a truly dreadful sight.

"Bang!"

On this day.

Su Chen fell. His body trembled slightly as he tried to stand up.

But it was as if a thousand catties of weight pressed down on him; he simply couldn't get up. His eyes were bloodshot, and despite his utmost effort, he failed.

Su Chen didn't know why he needed to stand up; perhaps it had become his obsession.

His mind was also completely muddled; Su Chen no longer remembered anything.

"Ah... ah..."

Su Chen opened his mouth, letting out "ah ah" sounds. He no longer knew how to speak, only struggling desperately to get up and continue walking forward.

Finally, after a period of struggle, he lay weakly on the ground.

Exhaustion swept over his entire body, and the light in his eyes gradually dimmed.

Just as he was about to close his eyes, Su Chen suddenly saw the hemp rope on his hand, and a figure abruptly burst forth in his previously muddled mind.

It was a figure of breathtaking beauty and peerless grace.

Her face held a smile; she was charming and graceful, her figure lithe and exquisite, every gesture revealing endless allure.

Mu Xin!

This was the bracelet Mu Xin had given him.

Su Chen seemed to remember something. His voice hoarse, he struggled to say, "Use... Rebirth Card."

He didn't know why he said this, but the Rebirth Card seemed to bring him an infinite sense of security.

Any problem could be solved using this Rebirth Card.

After saying this, Su Chen ran out of strength completely. He lay prone where he was, and the flame of life in his eyes gradually extinguished.

Just as it was completely extinguished.

A cold, electronic voice sounded in his mind.

"Ding! Rebirth Card used successfully."

Normally, a panel should have appeared before Su Chen, but this time there was no panel; he could only hear the sound.

This voice pulled Su Chen's thoughts back. His mind cleared slightly, and the clarity returned to his eyes, which had been full of silence and death.

"What is this sound... Wait."

"Damn... System, so you were still here."

Su Chen looked toward this world again, his voice extremely weak as he said, "What a masterful method! You actually got me!"

As his voice sounded, a blood-red eye suddenly opened in the originally dim sky. This eye contained only extreme killing intent and tyranny; just looking at it sent shivers down one's spine.

The eye held confusion, seemingly curious as to why Su Chen was able to break free.

The next moment.

An incomparably terrifying power erupted, seemingly capable of annihilating everything.

This power surged toward Su Chen, as if intending to completely erase him.

Su Chen used all his strength, a fierce look on his face: "Hahahaha, so you were my true opponent! What damned Upper Three Realms?"

"It was all just your scheme."

"The Great Dao of Time was never mine to begin with! The one who established the Supreme Divine Court back then wasn't the future me, but... you!"

Su Chen's voice was sharp; he screamed it out heartbreakingly.

Upon hearing this, the eye flashed with tyranny and mockery. It looked at Su Chen as if he were a clown, seemingly unwilling to waste another word on him.

"Bang!"

The terrifying power poured down, and Su Chen was instantly erased.

Tranquility returned between heaven and earth.

Seeing Su Chen die, the giant blood-red eyes involuntarily revealed a hint of delight.

But quickly.

Its gaze quickly turned tyrannical again.

A Black Shadow instantly condensed where Su Chen had died. The surrounding area had all turned to dust, leaving nothing behind.

The Black Shadow looked left and right, seemingly unable to detect anything, and began to grow tyrannical.

"Boom!"

An extremely terrifying power was released, turning countless miles of the surrounding area into dust.

Following this was an extremely deep voice, filled with disbelief and monstrous killing intent.

"Su Chen... you're still not dead!"
