490: Is the past the future, and the future the past?

At the beginning of their conversation, she hadn't paid much attention, but as their words became increasingly bizarre, she sensed something was wrong.

What was an Innate Ancient God?

What kind of Realm was that?

Ye Lan didn't know, but the name sounded incredibly prestigious; it was clearly a terrifyingly powerful being.

And the Upper Three Realms, conquering other worlds, the Dao Lord—all these things seemed to exceed her understanding.

Until the very end.

The mention of Immortal Emperors being as common as ox hair finally made her react with absolute terror.

Although she had never seen an Immortal Emperor, living within the Myriad Worlds, she had naturally heard of such terrifying powerhouses. For instance, the records of her Nine-Tailed Clan mentioned that their Old Ancestor was an Immortal Emperor Divine Beast.

Of course, Ye Lan didn't know exactly what Realm an Immortal Emperor was, but the name alone signaled its terrifying nature.

With her current level of knowledge, the Immortal King was the strongest person she knew of, as the current Clan Chief of their Nine-Tailed descendants was a Half-step Immortal King powerhouse.

She had almost no understanding of any Realms more powerful than that.

What kind of terrifying existence is my master, really?

Isn't he the young master of the Su Family?

Or are they just acting?

Ye Lan was a bit dazed, but she hadn't lost her wits. She hurriedly picked up the teacup from the floor and then sat obediently to the side.

Su Chen didn't care at all; if she heard, she heard. Ye Lan was simply too weak to pose any threat to him.

Even if she were to leave in the future, he could simply erase Ye Lan's memories entirely.

Su Chen looked at Tongtian, signaling him to continue.

Tongtian ignored Ye Lan and resumed his narrative: "Afterward, the Immortal Realm suffered a catastrophe. Immortal Qi began to wither, until it entered the rumored Age of Dharma Decline. At that time, not a single trace of Immortal Qi existed in the entire Immortal Realm."

The Age of Dharma Decline?

Could it be related to him?

That shouldn't be the case.

Su Chen's eyes were filled with confusion, while Tongtian continued: "However, the God Lord left behind many treasures. I constructed an independent small space; although it couldn't compare to the Immortal Realm, it could produce a continuous supply of Immortal Qi, so I wasn't too affected."

"That Age of Dharma Decline was actually quite interesting. Our Xuantian Realm was later renamed 'Blue Star' by the locals, and they even invented many strange and fun things."

What!?

Blue Star?

Su Chen stood up abruptly, his face filled with shock.

How is that possible!

Didn't I Transmigrate?

Why would Blue Star exist in this world?

Tongtian was caught off guard by Su Chen's sudden agitated reaction and looked at him with confusion.

"God Lord?"

Su Chen said in a grave tone: "Display your memories."

There were techniques that could directly project memories from one's mind. Su Chen wanted to confirm whether the Blue Star Tongtian spoke of was the same place where he had once lived.

Tongtian did not hesitate in the slightest and directly projected everything he had seen.

A small light screen appeared before them, containing records of Tongtian's travels on Blue Star, including him eating spicy hot pot, hot pot, playing video games, and so on.

Su Chen watched with a solemn expression, his face changing constantly.

How is it possible!

Why does Blue Star actually exist?

The Blue Star Tongtian spoke of was definitely the same one he had once lived on, and the city he had resided in was exactly the same.

There was no difference whatsoever.

It was actually real!

Seeing Su Chen's expression so grave, Tongtian realized the matter was not simple and stood to the side without a word.

Soon, Su Chen sat back down, a sense of conspiracy enveloping him.

If Blue Star had always existed within the Immortal Realm, then his Transmigration was actually traveling from the 'future' to the 'past'.

When he had previously comprehended the Great Dao of Time, the past Su Chen was his self on Blue Star, and the future Su Chen was the one who established the Supreme Divine Court.

Of course, it might not necessarily be him.

But if that were the case, everything would be a mess.

Su Chen suddenly thought of a possibility. When he was on Blue Star, he was a fan of novels.

He had seen a genre of novels where the protagonist was originally a terrifying existence, and the power they left behind became a System.

Could he be like that too?

It's so chaotic!

Su Chen felt his scalp tingle, and he couldn't help but shout in his mind at the System: "What exactly is going on here?"

Clearly, the System would not reply to him.

Su Chen calmed down; thinking about these things was useless. At least for now, the System seemed extremely terrifying. In his view, even having mastered the Great Dao of Time, it was impossible to return to the 'past' through his own experiences.

Even if time had already been altered.

"Perhaps the appearance of the System disrupted everything that was supposed to happen in another way, which is why it's impossible to connect everything together."

"Otherwise, thinking about it normally, it's impossible to sort out."

If the Blue Star he lived on appeared in the future, did that mean his original future would become that ordinary Su Chen?

That didn't make sense, either.

He had Transmigrated from the "future" to the "past", and having done so many things, there should have been huge changes in Karma. How could the future possibly play out exactly the same way?

The more Su Chen thought about it, the more his head ached, and he finally chose to stop thinking about it.

In Tongtian's memories, there were two encounters with his wives: one with Mu Xin and one with Lin Yimeng. Both of them had sought him out to ask about his situation.

Seeing their somewhat melancholic appearance, Su Chen suddenly felt a pang of pain in his heart.

In the end, he sighed deeply.

At least everything still had room to be salvaged.

"Forget it, forget it."

Su Chen shook his head, his expression somewhat melancholy.

At this moment, Tongtian could no longer hold back and asked with extreme confusion.

"God Lord, after you left back then, what exactly happened?"

Su Chen knew what he wanted to ask. He took a deep breath, then stood up and walked to the window, looking out into the distance, his expression becoming solemn.

"Tongtian, since you have reached the Half-step Dao Lord Realm, you should have some understanding of time."

"Back then, I followed time upstream and witnessed three great eras, even the Primordial Era."

What!

A look of shock appeared on Tongtian's face.

Su Chen continued: "I returned to the Early Stage of Creation, where it was a scene of dead silence, with no living beings in existence."

"And there, I encountered an unprecedented enemy, an enemy I could not resolve."

"Because of that person, the birth of the Immortal Realm was delayed, and everything did not develop along its original trajectory, which led to everything that happened afterward changing."

"It used to be the Immortal Realm, and now it is the Myriad Worlds!"

Tongtian widened his eyes, a look of disbelief on his face; he immediately sensed the gravity of the matter.

With a look of panic, Tongtian asked in a trembling voice:

"God Lord, then... are they all gone?"

Tongtian's eyes reddened; there were many of his friends and subordinates in the Divine Court. If time had truly changed, did that mean these people had disappeared forever?

Su Chen shook his head: "They haven't completely disappeared. Didn't you survive?"

"You need not worry about this matter; I have my own way to return to the beginning."
