504: The space for testing spirit stones is so large

Su Chen chuckled and shook his head; in terms of their age in this life, there shouldn't be much of a gap between them.

Even in his previous life, Su Chen's age was likely greater than Su Lan's, yet she treated him like a child.

But it didn't matter; it was quite nice to be protected by someone, as it at least saved him a lot of trouble.

Su Chen thought for a moment, then said with a smile, "There is a Treasure Trove left by the Su Family Old Ancestor inside the Spirit Testing Stone within the Su Family. It will certainly be of great help to you even at your peak. You should go and take it when you have time."

The smile on Su Lan's face stiffened slightly. Su Chen's words were very direct, almost explicitly indicating that he knew her identity.

But soon, she revealed a smile again.

Su Chen saying it directly without any grudge sent her a signal: he didn't mind her situation at all.

The smile on Su Lan's face was very bright; her thoughts were similar to Su Chen's.

Before, her only concern was that Su Chen might be a powerhouse Reincarnation and thus have no sense of belonging to this life, but now it seemed she had been overthinking it.

But what Treasure Trove could be in that Spirit Testing Stone?

When she went to test her Comprehension Ability before, aside from the relatively high amount of power of dao laws inside, there was almost nothing else special about it, right?

Could it be!

Su Lan's eyebrows suddenly shot up. Did she need to completely master the power of dao laws within it for the true contents of the Spirit Testing Stone to be revealed?

However, she couldn't quite figure it out. The strength of the Su Family ancestors wasn't high; it could even be described as very weak, and they likely weren't even Quasi-Emperors.

What could such a Cultivator leave behind that would be helpful to her?

Su Lan smiled and nodded. "Alright."

She didn't take the matter too seriously. Soon, the two parted ways again, and Su Lan prepared to head toward her small courtyard to continue her Cultivation.

Suddenly, Su Lan's footsteps paused.

Not far to her side was a small plaza where a tall, massive stone stood, emitting a faint power of dao laws.

The Spirit Testing Stone was only open once a year and remained closed at other times, but naturally, no one would stop Su Lan if she wanted to enter.

After hesitating for a moment, Su Lan walked toward the Spirit Testing Stone. Since Su Chen said there was something inside that would help even her peak self, it wasn't a big deal to give it a try.

Stepping onto the high platform, Su Lan arrived before the Spirit Testing Stone for the second time.

She looked at the Spirit Testing Stone, examining it seriously for a while, but couldn't see anything unusual.

Well, since she was already here, she might as well try.

She placed her slender hand on the Spirit Testing Stone, and the original power of dao laws immediately began to grow restless. The current Su Lan was worlds apart from how she had been initially.

The pressure from these power of dao laws was no longer as great as before; she could master them easily.

As the Spirit Testing Stone emitted a faint glow, Su Lan quickly mastered half of the power of dao laws.

But she still found nothing extraordinary.

Hmm?

What exactly is in here?

Su Lan increased her efforts, directly mastering all of the power of dao laws. Countless small runes floated around her, and other things began to appear in her eyes.

The power of dao laws she had comprehended actually began to gradually interweave, forming a brand-new web.

At first, Su Lan didn't think much of it, but as the great web continued to interweave, she saw something different.

A Great Dao!?

Su Lan's pupils suddenly constricted, her eyes filled with shock. This Spirit Testing Stone actually contained a Great Dao Embryo!

How is that possible!

If it were just an ordinary Great Dao, she wouldn't be so surprised, but a Great Dao woven from so many dao laws was definitely an extremely terrifying one.

Even the Moon Great Dao she originally cultivated would definitely have a massive gap compared to it.

Hiss!

Su Lan couldn't help but gasp. As the interweaving of this Great Dao became more apparent, her expression shifted drastically once again.

This is... Within that embryonic Great Dao, a faint aura of space was being emitted, and it was incredibly dense and pure. If she hadn't been an Immortal Emperor in her previous life, she might not have been able to detect this embryonic Great Dao.

Could this be the Space Great Dao?

Among the myriad daos, only the Space Great Dao could be so fantastical.

Even though Su Lan sensed the Power of the Great Dao, she couldn't see where the Dao was at all, as if it didn't exist in this world.

Su Lan's breathing began to quicken.

As someone who had reached the Immortal Emperor Realm in her previous life, she knew very well how terrifying the Space Great Dao was. It surpassed almost any Chaos Physique and was even more powerful than an Innate Dao Body.

Space!

This was the supreme Dao within the Myriad Realms. Throughout history, only a handful of people had comprehended such a Dao, and those people were almost all legendary figures.

In the current age, there was probably not a single person who controlled this kind of Dao.

Even if there were, it would be at most one or two people.

Su Lan's expression became solemn to the extreme. Su Chen had actually given such a Dao to her directly; this was simply too precious.

She couldn't help but swallow. She was very tempted by the Space Great Dao, mainly because the help it provided was truly too immense.

After hesitating for a moment, she still reached out and touched it. Her aura began to plummet rapidly, and the Great Dao originally condensed within her body instantly vanished, replaced by the Space Great Dao.

She had already been cultivating one type of Great Dao. Now that she was switching to the Space Great Dao, she naturally had to erase her original Dao.

However, this action also caused her original half-step Profound Immortal Realm to drop directly to the Heavenly Immortal Realm.

Su Lan sat cross-legged on the ground and began to harmonize with this newly controlled Space Great Dao.

Fortunately, this Dao was only an embryo, so there was no resistance or awkwardness during the Fusion; it merged with her very easily and smoothly.

The only drawback was that this Dao was indeed a bit weak at the moment. To elevate it in the future, she would likely have to consume many Heaven And Earth Treasures.

Of course, these were all minor issues.

For Su Lan, the upper limit was the most important thing, as it was for every Cultivator.

Only when the upper limit is raised can one see further into the future.

For example, upon reaching the Immortal Emperor Realm, wanting to progress further almost requires an Innate advantage, such as a Chaos Physique or a powerful Immortal Physique, to continue to Breakthrough.

Or perhaps having an Innate mastery of some powerful Great Dao.

Otherwise, relying solely on one's Comprehension Ability, one might never Breakthrough until death.

This was why she chose Reincarnation and re-cultivation—because her upper limit was simply too low. Despite trying various methods, breaking through to the Dominator Realm remained indefinitely out of reach.

In the end, out of helplessness, she could only choose Reincarnation and re-cultivation.

However, now that she controlled the Space Great Dao, her upper limit was already ridiculously high. Let alone the Dominator Realm, even the Realms above Dominator held a great possibility...
