265: The tacit understanding of international assassins

Ever since the bounty was posted on the Dark Web, real-time information about Su Yu has become one of the most valuable pieces of intelligence in the entire black market.

The reason was simple: as a Huaxia Country native, Su Yu was deep inland, and even the most well-informed dealers in the black market admitted they were powerless.

Without informants within Huaxia Country's borders, it was virtually impossible to get information about the target immediately.

Even if they did get news, it would be at least two or three hours late, and by the time they arrived, he would have long disappeared without a trace.

So, these foreigners, let alone completing the assassination mission, might not even be able to find Su Yu.

However, the staging of the Global Robot Competition broke this awkward situation, rekindling their hope.

The competition schedule was set in advance, so as long as Su Yu's appearance was confirmed, they could pinpoint his location beforehand and prepare for an assassination.

It's worth noting that the assassins who successfully infiltrated Huaxia Country without being discovered were no ordinary individuals.

They were like loaches hidden in muddy holes, slippery and cunning. If undetected, they would lie in wait, then deliver a fatal blow at the critical moment.

"Hello, may I ask who this Mr. Su is? Why doesn't he have to participate in today's competition and can advance directly?"

Among the crowd, an individual contestant from Meijian Country showed a hint of displeasure.

Originally, he thought this competition hosted by Huaxia Country would be fair and just, but who would have thought there would still be under-the-table dealings?

The staff member smiled, nodded in apology, and then replied in fluent English.

"Hello, contestant, Mr. Su is a special guest of this Global Robot Competition."

"You can understand it this way: without his participation, perhaps this competition would not have reached such a scale!"

"Moreover, Mr. Su is not participating as a contestant. Everyone can rest assured; he will serve as a special judge to test everyone's true strength and will not take away any of the prize money you have already won."

Hearing this, everyone's expressions softened a little.

Anything else was fine, but the one thing they couldn't tolerate was having their money taken away! Otherwise, wouldn't all their hard work competing today be for nothing?!

"By the way, will our competition tomorrow still be in the same location as today?"

Someone else asked.

The staff member smiled and shook his head.

"Because we need to make room for other upcoming events, all our competitions will be held outdoors on Field Number Two. After each competition, staff will immediately begin setting up the new event site, so please don't worry."

Field Number Two!

Hearing the staff member's words, several foreign contestants in the crowd, their eyes glinting, looked thoughtful.

They had already thoroughly researched the competition venues.

Field Number Two's location had no surrounding buildings for cover, and a spacious area of over a thousand square meters only had a temporary tin-shed toilet.

The perimeter of the field was enclosed by a green wire fence. It was probably originally a basketball court or a small football field.

The purpose of these wire fences was to prevent balls from flying out of bounds.

Further out, near the road, a row of blue-flowering trees lined the roadside, their tall and robust canopies dense with leaves, standing like giant green umbrellas.

The surrounding visibility was excellent; even from a distance of one or two hundred meters, everything on the field could be clearly seen.

Although outdoor competition venues were largely similar, Field Number Two was indeed the best location for filming the competition.

drones in the air had an extremely wide field of view, able to fly freely without restriction, clearly overlooking the entire scene.

For the assassins, this was also the optimal assassination location.

No cover, and a protective net around the field.

Once they launched an attack, people within the field would find it difficult to escape quickly, especially since the entire field only had two small gates as entry and exit points.

In terms of timing, geographical advantage, and human factors, they had both the geographical advantage and human factors.

As long as they were well-prepared, there was virtually no chance of failure!

And the most crucial point was this:

Throughout today's competition, they discovered that the staff responsible for maintaining order and security on-site could be described as barely better than nothing.

Perhaps it was because people in Huaxia Country believed the country was very safe, or perhaps it was because there were no spectators present throughout the competition.

Besides a few judges, staff, and camera crew from the production team, each competition venue didn't even have a single basic security guard.

If this were in a foreign country, it would be an absolute fantasy!

After leaving the gathering hall,

Several assassins, hidden among the contestants, began to actively share the newly acquired information on the Dark Web.

For this assassination operation, all the assassins on the foreign network had a very tacit understanding.

After all, with a bounty of five billion, if they could successfully pull off this one job, everyone could retire. Even if the final bounty was claimed by one person, if divided among ten, each would still get five hundred million!

Under such immense temptation, everyone's goal shifted from individual enjoyment to simply completing the mission, as long as the assassination was successful!

"Tomorrow morning, the target will be competing at Field Two for the entire morning. For those planning to act, I suggest we move together!"

"That's right, after observing today, there are basically no security personnel inside the competition venue. Everyone, let's rely on our own abilities!"

"Let's agree now, don't hurt our own people just to claim credit."

"Completing the mission doesn't mean you'll get the money and leave alive. Huaxia Country's police are not to be trifled with."

"Doesn't matter, I didn't plan on coming back alive when I took on this bounty."

"Fuck, I've never heard of a case of a large bounty being successfully claimed in Huaxia Country. If I can't get the money for this job, becoming famous would still be good!"

...On the Dark Web, all sorts of messages were flying around.

The National Security Special Duty Department also noticed something amiss at the same time.

Recently, in terms of immigration management, they had identified many international wanted criminals, but during interrogations, they hadn't gotten any conclusive information.

Soon, they turned their attention to the most popular Global Robot Competition in the country recently.

Many foreigners came for this show, and the show itself had a significant international reputation. It had just premiered today, attracting over two billion views!

Everyone was looking forward to more exciting competition performances.

Especially fans in Huaxia Country, everyone was anticipating Su Yu's performance tomorrow.

Perhaps out of professional instinct, the head of National Security Team Two eventually arranged for a group of personnel to go to the competition venue on the second day.

This person in charge always had a feeling of unease.
