124: Mechanical warriors are dispatched to assist in completing the mysterious mission!

The burning helicopter cockpit appeared empty; no human remains were found.

An unmanned helicopter?

Next to the helicopter, the mission assistants who had fallen with it stirred and got up.

Not just this one, but all the previously landed assistants quickly stood up and converged.

Each of them was between 1.9 and 2 meters tall, robustly built, with faces as resolute as iron, standing ramrod straight, unsmiling, exuding an invisible oppressive force in the night.

“Big guys?!”

Huang Yanbing looked at these converging “people.”

He was both surprised and delighted.

These were the very assistants temporarily dispatched by the command center during the Darwin City breakout battle.

They were impervious to bullets, explosions, fire, and even poison, truly super warriors!

With these as assistance, the special mission assigned by First Division Commander Luo Hui seemed not impossible to complete.

Huang Yanbing counted them; there were 8 super warriors in total, enough for his 3rd Platoon to have one for every 4 men.

The mission was urgent; after three helicopters were shot down, the American military would likely send ground troops to investigate.

Huang Yanbing immediately ordered the wooden crates with parachutes to be opened.

Inside, they found various individual weapons, equipment, and ammunition, including rifles.

But what surprised Huang Yanbing and the others most was the presence of 30 sets of U.S. Military uniforms inside.

Clearly, these were for the entire 3rd Platoon to disguise themselves.

Huang Yanbing and the others immediately changed into full U.S. Military uniforms.

As for the 8 super warriors, they were already wearing U.S. Military attire.

Just as Huang Yanbing led everyone away from the spot, a U.S. Military reconnaissance team indeed arrived in two military vehicles to investigate.

They inspected the area, found only traces of the helicopter fire, reported it, and then prepared to return in their military vehicles.

“Move—”

Huang Yanbing, hidden in the dark, gave the order, initiating point-to-point sniping on these soldiers from a distance.

The 3rd Platoon consisted entirely of snipers, and those men were immediately taken down at the first moment.

Huang Yanbing and his team successfully seized two military vehicles, which were just enough to accommodate everyone.

As the 8 super warriors stepped onto the vehicles, Huang Yanbing and the others clearly felt the vehicles sway, indicating that these big guys weighed far more than ordinary people.

Huang Yanbing and his team drove the vehicles, impersonating the U.S. Military, and returned to the U.S. Military's defensive lines.

At this moment, the U.S. Military's defensive lines were in disarray.

Due to the Anti-War Army's multi-point operations and various harassments, the U.S. Military thought the Anti-War Army was taking advantage of the chaos to launch a full-scale offensive, so they had to deploy a large number of troops to reinforce various defensive positions.

Huang Yanbing's two vehicles were initially left unchecked, allowing them to drive smoothly against traffic, in the opposite direction of most U.S. Military movements.

It wasn't until they reached the innermost layer, the Alice Springs defense line, that they were stopped by a U.S. Military checkpoint.

“Which unit are you from?”

Huang Yanbing then reported the name of the U.S. Military team they had just sniped.

“Why are you passing through here?”

Huang Yanbing: “We have a classified mission and need to enter the town.”

“Please remove your masks; I need to verify your identities.”

Damn it—

Huang Yanbing raised his hand and fired a shot, killing the U.S. Military lieutenant who had been questioning him.

His subordinates also acted, even throwing grenades, quickly taking out the checkpoint.

The gunfire here immediately attracted the attention of other American military forces, so Huang Yanbing had no choice but to disregard them and drive straight ahead.

Huang Yanbing's mission this time was to “liberate” Alice Springs.

Therefore, he had to enter that town as quickly as possible.

After driving for a while, they reached the territory controlled by the Alice Springs occupation forces, which was the thousand self-proclaimed Third Infantry Regiment of the Anti-War Army's First Division.

These people had also set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits around the town.

The soldier at the checkpoint glanced at Huang Yanbing and his team, as well as the U.S. Military vehicles they were in, and frowned.

“Who are you, and what are you doing here?”

Although everyone knew that the occupation forces and the U.S. Military were on the same side,

they couldn't openly acknowledge it.

Huang Yanbing: “By order from above, we are entering Alice Springs to provide support… The Anti-War Army has declared war on the People's Army. Do you hear the gunfire outside? The higher-ups are afraid the Anti-War Army might launch an operation against Alice Springs, so they ordered our entire platoon to be stationed here to temporarily assist you in defense. If the American military doesn't attack by dawn, we'll withdraw.”

The soldier didn't suspect much, as no one expected that these thirty-plus people in front of them had infiltrated deep into the U.S. Military's defensive lines by taking advantage of the chaos. He simply stated: “But you are all wearing U.S. Military uniforms, which is not good. It's fine now at night, but if it's daytime and you are photographed by the enemy's high-altitude satellites or the Anti-War Army's reconnaissance drones appearing in town, it would be bad.”

Huang Yanbing waved a stack of clothes in his hand: “No problem, we've already prepared Anti-War Army uniforms and can change into them before dawn.”

These clothes were precisely their own uniforms that they had taken off earlier.

The soldier: “Alright then, you should change your clothes first. I'll ask the people inside the town for instructions.”

So, the soldier went aside with his walkie-talkie to report, and Huang Yanbing and his team quickly changed back into their military uniforms.

However, they encountered some trouble.

The 8 big guys didn't have spare clothes.

Huang Yanbing then ordered them to take off their upper military uniforms, revealing the T-shirts underneath.

Once their uniforms were off, the strength of these super warriors became even more apparent; each was comparable to Schwarzenegger.

The soldier returned, and the size of the 8 big guys surprised him a little, but he didn't say much, nodding and stating: “Our leader told you to come in.”

Thus, the two vehicles were allowed to pass.

After entering the town, along both sides of the road, they continuously saw occupation soldiers wearing Anti-War Army uniforms. Clearly, the commotion outside the town had alarmed everyone.

Huang Yanbing and his team were quickly led into a large villa that had been requisitioned as a temporary command post.

As soon as Huang Yanbing and his group entered, they were surrounded by forty to fifty rifles.

The black muzzles of the guns were pointed directly at them.
