333: East China and West China

Several hours slipped by quietly, and the originally calm spatial vortex suddenly rippled, like a giant stone thrown into a tranquil lake, with ripples rapidly spreading outwards.

In the center of the vortex, light flashed, and over a dozen uniquely designed, imposing starships slowly emerged.

These starships exuded a cold metallic sheen, and the various instruments and weapons on their hulls reflected glints of cold light under the illumination of their own fleet lights.

Seeing this, the starships that Li Yang had arranged to stand watch here immediately perked up, rapidly adjusted their course, and eagerly went to meet them.

At the same time, they sent out a call through the communication channel.

“Are you the support troops sent by the Empire?”

The voice transmitted clearly through the communication channel, carrying a hint of anticipation and inquiry.

“Yes, we were sent by Chief General Lei Hua, Deputy Section Chief of the First Section of the Research Department.”

A steady and powerful response came from the other side, revealing a sense of determination in his tone.

Hearing the other party report Chief Lei’s name, the starship responsible for the rendezvous confirmed their identity and, without any delay, immediately guided these support troops to speed towards the location of the main force.

Not long after, Li Yang received news that the support troops were about to arrive.

He immediately issued an order.

“The people sent from above have arrived; everyone prepare to welcome them. We must demonstrate our proper demeanor and enthusiasm.”

“Understood!”

His subordinates responded in unison and loudly, their voices filled with anticipation and excitement for the arrival of new strength.

The more than a dozen newly arrived starships, like wild geese returning to their nest, orderly approached the temporarily constructed Space Station.

They precisely adjusted their positions, finally docking steadily in the designated area of the Space Station.

And on one of the main starships, a flash of light occurred, and their leader had already arrived instantly at the stronghold established on the planet via a teleportation device.

With a faint mechanical hum, the heavy door of the Command Room in the stronghold slowly slid open to both sides.

Two men in distinctive attire walked in with steady steps.

They wore crisp Imperial military uniforms underneath, showcasing a soldier’s authority and discipline, and draped white robes as pure as snow over them, adding a touch of scholarly elegance characteristic of scientific researchers, identical to Yan Ze’s attire.

“Gentlemen, you must be the helpers sent by Chief Lei, correct?”

Seeing the two appear, Li Yang and his group immediately stepped forward enthusiastically, their faces beaming with sincere smiles, and took the initiative to greet them.

At this moment, their hearts were full of anticipation, knowing that the arrival of these two might bring a turning point to the current thorny problem.

“Yes.”

The man walking in front spoke first, his voice gentle yet firm.

“My name is Hua Dong, a researcher from the First Section of the Military Research Department. This is my assistant, and also my younger brother, Researcher Hua Xi. We are here to fully assist everyone in overcoming the current difficulties.”

Hua Dong said, politely nodding to everyone, his eyes revealing professionalism and confidence.

“Welcome, comrades!”

Li Yang responded enthusiastically, then turned to introduce them.

“I am Li Yang, and currently the temporary Commander of the main fleet. This is Comrade Lin Bi, also dispatched to support this mission. For the upcoming work, we will rely on your professional knowledge and experience.”

Li Yang’s words were full of sincerity, and also expressed respect for the two researchers.

“Since that is the case, without further ado…”

Hua Dong looked around, saying with a slightly anxious expression.

“Let us first establish the research station. Starting research as early as possible might help us find a way to break through this power of rules sooner.”

He knew that time was pressing and the task was arduous, not wanting to delay for a moment.

“Alright, I’ll listen to you!”

Li Yang responded without hesitation.

“If you need anything here, whether it’s manpower or resources, contact me, or contact Comrade Lin Bi, we will fully cooperate.”

His tone was firm and powerful, indicating his determination to fully support the research work.

After exchanging greetings, the brothers Hua Dong and Researcher Hua Xi did not linger for a moment, immediately turning and hurriedly leaving the stronghold.

They quickly boarded the teleportation device back to the fleet, and then began to command the fleet in an orderly fashion, preparing to establish a specialized Space Station for research nearby.

This Space Station would become the frontline for exploring that invisible power of rules, carrying everyone’s hope of unraveling the mystery. They would go all out here to conduct in-depth research on that mysterious power of rules.

Watching Hua Dong and Researcher Hua Xi’s hurried departure, Li Yang couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.

They truly are professional researchers; their style of work is swift and decisive. As soon as they arrived, they immediately prepared to dive into research without delay. This dedication is truly admirable.

Now that the most thorny issue of researching the power of rules had been taken over by professionals like the Hua Dong brothers, Li Yang also breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of release, and enjoyed a rare moment of leisure.

Those numerous complex miscellaneous tasks were handled by capable assistants like Pa’er, with everything arranged in an orderly manner.

And now, with the Hua Dong brothers taking on the crucial research matters, Li Yang and Lin Bi suddenly seemed to have nothing to do.

However, as the temporary Commander of the fleet, Li Yang would not let time simply slip away.

To make full use of this time, and also to advance the progress of the entire mission, he pondered for a moment, then decisively issued an order to dispatch several galaxy-class starships from the fleet to explore other directions in this space.

Although it was highly probable that there was only one Galaxy in this space, it was still better to explore and be cautious.

In addition to the exploration mission, Li Yang also detached a fleet from his own fleet.

This fleet carried an important mission: they were to first return to the planet controlled by the Star Controller, carefully perform containment operations on it, and then safely send it out of this universe, back to the original universe, to be handed over to Yan Ze for subsequent, more in-depth research.

During this time, the Space Station specifically for research had also been completed, and on the third day after the Hua Dong brothers fully immersed themselves in research, the long-awaited good news finally arrived.

The research had achieved a major breakthrough. This news was like a ray of dawn in the darkness, instantly making the atmosphere of the entire stronghold warm and full of hope.

Everyone was eager to know what this breakthrough truly meant, and whether it could break through the obstruction of that power of rules, allowing the fleet to successfully enter the target planet.
