192: Golden Sun Forest

This statement made Consultant and his group pause, but before they could think too much about it, Consultant struck while the iron was hot and continued to ask:

"Uncle, isn't Room 213 haunted? Why does that Luo Chunyu still dare to work here?"

"Hehe."

The boss grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth. After smacking his lips, he said mysteriously:

"I also asked her this question. Guess what she said?"

"?"

Consultant and Du Ruo stopped what they were doing. Even Black Marsh, who was picking at the bun filling next to them, stopped and stared quietly at the boss.

The boss paused for a few seconds, then slowly opened his mouth:

"She said that those ghosts are all Magical Beasts she raised, and she is the owner of that room."

As his voice fell, the expressions on Consultant and his group turned to shock!

The bun filling in Black Marsh's mouth, the spoon in Du Ruo's hand, and the chopsticks Consultant was holding... all dropped onto the table!

"She... she raises ghosts? Or does she raise Magical Beasts?"

This was a crucial question, so Consultant gathered his courage and asked.

But the boss just shrugged, "Who knows? She seemed to be joking, so I didn't ask any further."

Is that really how people joke?!

This thought crossed the minds of Consultant and his group.

But before they could speak, the boss sucked his teeth and spoke again:

"However, I feel like what she said is true."

"Why?" Consultant and Du Ruo asked in unison.

"Because..."

The boss pursed his lips towards the food on the table and said, "Miss Luo said that if anyone thinks the buns I make aren't delicious, she will have the ghosts slaughter that person and then raise their soul as a Magical Beast!"

"!!!"

As soon as he said this, the expressions of Consultant and his group were once again filled with horror.

Du Ruo silently lowered her head to drink her porridge, her hand trembling slightly, the spoon clinking against the porridge bowl.

Consultant picked up several buns with his chopsticks and shoved them into his mouth, swallowing them without even finishing chewing.

Black Marsh was searching the table for the bun filling he had just spat out, while saying:

"Hey, these buns... they're really fragrant. This chive and egg filling is really fresh!"

Even the Silver Fire Dragon, who hadn't spoken the whole time, picked up a bun, broke it open, slowly gnawed on one half, and stuffed the other half into the Slime's mouth.

The bun shop owner let out a hearty laugh, "Haha, if it's good, eat more! I'm going to get back to work, call me if you need more!"

Saying this, he turned and left.

Consultant and the two others, along with the three Magical Beasts left at the table, exchanged silent glances, reaching a consensus through their eyes alone...

Never come to this breakfast shop to eat again!

After Consultant and his group swept the food off the table like a storm, they didn't even have time to say another word to the boss before running out of the shop...

It was now noon.

The sky was still overcast and rainy, but even so, Consultant and his group had no intention of returning to their hotel room.

For them, anywhere was much safer than that eerie hotel right now!

"Let's go take a look at the Golden Sun Forest. If we can find that Dr. Fuji, we can leave this place as soon as possible."

"Then let's set off quickly; I don't like this place," Du Ruo agreed.

Black Marsh maintained his usual stubborn style, "This King thinks this proposal is very good, I approve!"

Consultant's proposal was unanimously passed, and even the Silver Fire Dragon nodded.

However, this big brother wasn't doing it because he feared those groundless ghost stories, but for another reason...

"I have an old friend in the Golden Sun Forest, and in order to retrieve the vermilion orb, it would be best if we pay a visit."

This statement from the Silver Fire Dragon did not surprise Consultant.

From the moment he first heard the name Golden Sun Forest, he had already guessed that the Magical Beast King here had some connection to the Silver Fire Dragon.

Furthermore... helping the Silver Fire Dragon retrieve the vermilion orb was also the condition of their contract with it.

Before, when the Silver Fire Dragon's injuries hadn't healed, Consultant could take it around to use its presence to intimidate others, while wandering about looking for evidence.

But now that the Silver Fire Dragon's injuries had been healed by Du Ruo's Beast Taming Power, it wouldn't be good to drag it out any longer.

"Let's go, set off!"

Consultant took a deep breath, took out the map to determine the direction, and led the group towards the outskirts of Ziyuan City.

However, they did not notice that behind them, the shadows of the two people and three beasts were being stretched longer and longer on the ground, swaying slightly...

After leaving Ziyuan City, the gloom in the sky improved immediately.

Although the dark clouds were still oppressive, at least it wasn't raining anymore.

Consultant didn't know if this was due to the environment of the Emerald Dreamscape or if the Spirit Pylon Tower caused such strange weather.

This thought spun around in his head for a moment before being cast aside, and Consultant refocused his attention on their journey.

After leaving Ziyuan City, their moods improved significantly, and even the boring journey became light and brisk.

Before long, the group arrived at the Golden Sun Forest. This was a place very similar to the Silver Moon Forest they had visited before.

Many Beast Tamers would search for suitable Magical Beasts here.

The people who appeared here were generally energetic and hot-blooded.

They were much better than the lifeless people inside Ziyuan City.

However, Beast Tamer duels also arrived with this group of energetic, hot-blooded people.

Consultant and Du Ruo did not refuse the duel requests from these people; they were even quite proactive about it, as they urgently needed an outlet to relieve the repressed fear in their hearts...

The levels of these Beast Tamers were generally not high, even lower than Consultant's level, so he found it relatively easy to deal with them.

Consultant maintained his usual habit of only using thirty percent of his strength, and unless absolutely necessary, he would never proactively let the Slime use its Dragon Form.

As for Black Marsh, that uncontrollable serpent, Consultant certainly wouldn't let it out.

Fortunately, Black Marsh had no interest in fighting those low-level Magical Beasts.

After defeating a few Beast Masters, Consultant didn't do much fighting, instead shifting his focus to Du Ruo.

Du Ruo couldn't be as relaxed and at ease as Consultant right now.

Although the Silver Fire Dragon was an Eighth-Order Magical Beast with strength far exceeding most Magical Beasts in this world, and it had a friendly personality and cooperated well with Du Ruo.

But after all, it was Du Ruo's first time dueling others as a Beast Tamer.

So it was inevitable that she would be nervous and encounter some small problems.

Consultant could only guide her as much as possible, relying on his past experience.

As it happened, most of the Beast Tamers here had average strength, making them perfect for Du Ruo to practice on.

The group's travel speed slowed down, but with the increase in the number of battles, they also improved their strength a bit...
