67: Surrounded by two beautiful women

Although the Slime had lost many of its abilities and was unable to enter combat mode during the time it spent digesting the magical beast crystal core.

However, it could still manage simple responses.

The liquid in the bucket surged and constantly changed colors, and soon, two black-bean-sized eyes floated to the surface and blinked at the Consultant.

The Consultant and the Slime were soul-bound to each other, so even if the Consultant didn't speak, the Slime could understand his intentions.

"Gulu!"

The Slime made a strange sound and then blew a bubble from the bucket.

This purple bubble floated in the air, wobbling, but it didn't burst; instead, it drifted down toward Zhang Fan, who was lying on the ground.

"Consultant, what are you doing?!"

Seeing this, Professor Zhang Tong felt anxious and hurriedly asked.

Meanwhile, the few teachers standing nearby widened their eyes.

They were all experts in pharmacology and restoration magic, but in all their years, they had never seen such a scene.

Of course, part of the reason was that almost no researchers in the current era had any interest in studying Slimes, the lowest tier of magical beasts.

"Don't be nervous, trust me!"

The Consultant waved his hand at Professor Zhang Tong and the others with a grin.

The purple bubble floated down and landed on Zhang Fan's face.

Immediately after, the bubble rapidly melted, turning into purple Slime that entered Zhang Fan's mouth and nose.

Very quickly, the toxins eroding Zhang Fan's body were absorbed by the small bit of Slime that had entered his body.

The purple color on Zhang Fan's skin gradually faded, leaving behind only the bloody scratches he had inflicted on himself.

About a few minutes later, Zhang Fan suddenly opened his eyes, took a deep breath, sat up from the ground, and began to cough violently.

Some purple Slime along with blood clots were coughed up by him.

After a while, Zhang Fan finally recovered and blinked blankly.

"Alright, Professor Zhang, your son is fine now. Just make sure he gets some rest."

Watching Zhang Fan recover, the Consultant couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

If he hadn't been saved and had died in his dormitory, it would have been too much of a bad omen.

"Son, are you alright?"

Professor Zhang Tong didn't fully trust the Consultant; he quickly half-knelt, supported Zhang Fan, and asked in a tense tone.

Zhang Fan shook his head with a pale face; he moved his lips as if wanting to speak, but he had no strength at all.

The Consultant stood to the side, placed the bucket back down, and then spoke:

"Everyone, if there's nothing else, please head back. I have to go to class in a while."

The teachers nodded, exchanged glances, and silently gathered the blood clots and Slime Zhang Fan had coughed up into a small bottle before saying to the Consultant:

"Little Gu, can we take these away as research materials?"

"Of course, please do," the Consultant waved his hand and said to them with a smile.

"Thank you very much." The teachers looked delighted and left the dormitory happily.

Seeing his son was fine, Professor Zhang Tong supported Zhang Fan and left the dormitory without a word.

Just as he was about to step out the door, the Consultant called out to him from behind.

"Hey, Professor Zhang, remember to have someone help me fix my dormitory door later!"

"I know, I'll notify the Dean!"

Professor Zhang Tong felt annoyed whenever he heard the Consultant's voice now; he said this without turning his head and walked out of the dormitory quickly.

Soon, the room returned to peace.

Zuo Dao narrowed his eyes, looked at the Consultant with a smile, and gave a thumbs up:

"Awesome, brother, you could say this time was a fruitful harvest!"

Zuo Dao was, of course, referring to the herbs on the side.

The Consultant also smiled and shrugged, waving his hand, "Except for the dawn moon spirit sand, they are all yours!"

"Thanks, brother!" Zuo Dao didn't stand on ceremony and quickly picked up the herbs and put them into his bag.

The Consultant then picked up the small bottle of dawn moon spirit sand.

The spirit sand looked light blue, with distinct grains, like crushed crystal stones, shimmering with a crystalline light.

The Consultant used the system to confirm that the item was fine, and not intending to hide anything from Zuo Dao, he opened the bottle directly and poured the spirit sand into the bucket.

As soon as the dawn moon spirit sand touched the Slime's body, it immediately merged into it.

In just an instant, the electric arcs and toxic mist in the room were brought under control, and the Slime also calmed down, its body wriggling bit by bit.

Although it still couldn't return to its initial state in the short term, the Consultant noticed that the Slime's body began to solidify rapidly.

【Congratulations to the host, you have successfully fed it the dawn moon spirit sand.】

【The Slime's digestion process will be accelerated, with an estimated one week remaining.】

【Additionally, after completing digestion, your Slime may gain stronger abilities.】

Listening to the system prompt in his ear, the Consultant couldn't help but curl the corners of his mouth.

This is really a case of getting exactly what one wishes for.

He had already given up on searching for dawn moon spirit sand, but to his surprise... there was actually a fool who delivered it to his doorstep!

The Slime was much more stable now, but its attributes were still constantly changing.

So, the Consultant decided to leave the Slime in the dormitory first and go to class himself.

As for this dormitory door... the Consultant couldn't do anything about it for now, and anyway, even with a door, it wouldn't stop petty people.

Moreover, the Consultant felt that after today's incident, there wouldn't be any more suckers delivering themselves to his doorstep for a while.

...

Early the next morning, the Consultant woke up, and just as he and Zuo Dao were about to head to class after breakfast, they heard Jiang Cen's voice echoing throughout the academy.

"All students, please assemble in the academy hall!"

"I have an announcement to make!"

"Please notify each other and assemble at the academy conference hall immediately!"

Jiang Cen's voice kept resounding, and many students on the road stopped in their tracks, wearing expressions of confusion.

But the Consultant smiled.

No matter what Jiang Cen was going to say, it meant... he didn't have to attend class this morning!

Zuo Dao had the same thought as the Consultant; the two of them smiled at each other and immediately changed direction, heading toward the academy hall.

Generally speaking, Jiang Cen would only summon all students to gather in the hall on certain major occasions.

But since the Consultant arrived in this world, there had never been a situation requiring everyone to come here.

Therefore, this was the Consultant's first time coming here.

This conference hall was the largest place in the entire Longjun Awakening Academy; it was paved with wooden floors, and there was a podium at the front.

Many students had already gathered here, and there were also many teachers around.

The Consultant looked toward Jiang Cen at the front and discovered that it wasn't an illusion, but rather a rare appearance in physical form.

He held a staff in his hand and scanned the crowd quietly.

As soon as the Consultant appeared, Jiang Cen immediately shifted his gaze to him; he silently waved his staff at the Consultant and pointed in a direction beside him.

The students who came here were lined up by class.

At the very edge, closest to Jiang Cen, was naturally the location for their class zero.

Zhu Ming, Jiang Banxia, and Sun Wen had already arrived here.

"What on earth is going on?" the Consultant thought, walking with Zuo Dao to their designated spot.

"Consultant, stand here!"

Upon seeing the Consultant, Sun Wen immediately waved at him, gesturing for him to stand beside her.

"Sigh, I'm envious; I want to stand next to Goddess Sun, too."

Zuo Dao followed the Consultant forward with a grin, speaking in a sarcastic tone beside him.

The Consultant knew Zuo Dao was joking, so he chuckled and stood beside Sun Wen.

But just as he had stood still, Jiang Banxia from the side also squeezed past Zuo Dao with a smile and stood beside the Consultant.

Consultant: "..."
