114: Chapter 114 A Trip to Romania
"It better be."
Qin Ming leaned back against his seat and sighed in his heart.
Forget it.
Although the bunch at Hotel Transylvania were monsters, they were mostly harmless goofballs, and they were on good terms with The Addams Family.
Even though he was short on points, he wasn't about to go as far as wiping out the home base of a friend's acquaintances.
That would be too unsightly.
However, since he had arrived in Transylvania, the famous home of the Vampires, he couldn't leave empty-handed.
"Besides this Dracula who runs the hotel..."
Qin Ming's fingers lightly tapped the armrest of his leather seat.
"Are there any other Draculas in Transylvania?"
Upon hearing this question,
the temperature inside the carriage seemed to drop suddenly by over ten degrees.
Even Gomez, who was smoking a cigar, came to a sudden halt in his movements.
Morticia slowly turned her head, her pale face appearing even more profound in the dim light.
"Qin Ming, it is very dangerous to ask that."
Her voice became extremely low.
"In another dimension within the frigid lands of Transylvania, there lies another ancient castle. The one living there is the true nightmare.
The progenitor of Vampires who made a pact with the devil—Count Vladislaus Dragulia III."
Qin Ming's eyes brightened slightly.
"A pact with the devil?"
"Yes," Morticia nodded slightly. "He comes from the ancient and noble Valerious Family.
His father was the first patriarch of the family, Elder Valerius."
A trace of both pity and coldness showed in Morticia's eyes.
"It is said that when Dracula fell into darkness, Elder Valerius could not bring himself to kill his own son. He could only exile him to the Icy Fortress."
"Later, this desperate father went to Rome and swore a blood oath with God—unless his descendants completely killed Dracula, the souls of the entire Valerious Family would never enter Heaven for all eternity, and would only suffer in Purgatory!"
Hearing this,
the corners of Qin Ming's mouth finally curved into a cold arc that he couldn't suppress.
Van Helsing!
It really was the strongest version of Dracula in this current world!
The Dracula who possessed three beautiful Vampire brides, who plotted to breed countless bloodthirsty little Vampires, and who was once a member of the Holy Order.
Count Vladislaus Dragulia III
Most importantly, the Valerious Family stood behind him.
"And now?" Qin Ming suppressed the excitement in his heart and calmly followed up, "Are the people of that family still hunting him?"
"Yes. Over the past four hundred years, the Valerious Family has been nearly wiped out."
Gomez exhaled a thick smoke ring, his tone solemn.
"Now, it is said that only the last two of the bloodline remain.
Anna Valerius, and her brother Velkan.

They are still struggling to hold on in a small town in Transylvania."
Qin Ming closed his eyes, and the tapping of his fingers stopped.
All the intelligence had aligned.
Van Helsing.
The reincarnation of Gabriel, the Left Hand of God who had been an amnesiac for four hundred years.

Since the Valerious Family was still hunting Dracula, then according to the convergence of the plot line, The Vatican had definitely already dispatched Van Helsing to Transylvania!
"Gabriel..."
Qin Ming chewed on the name in his mind.
The supreme divine power branch of [Holy Light Power]—Summon Archangel Spirit.
Currently, his angel slot was empty.
And that Van Helsing, who had been an amnesiac for four hundred years and was wandering around Transylvania, happened to have the ready-made soul of Gabriel sleeping within him.
"What are you thinking about again?" Wednesday's voice drifted over eerily.
Qin Ming retracted the fanaticism in his eyes.
"Nothing," he looked at the twisted, withered trees receding rapidly outside the window. "Just some... small matters that make one feel pleasant."
A while later,
the black Gothic vintage car passed through a layer of hidden magical mist.
The field of vision suddenly opened up.
A massive medieval castle, built against the mountain and so grand it was breathtaking, stood on the edge of a cliff.
Swarms of Vampire bats circled above the spires of the towers.
A cold wind blew in gusts, accompanied by faint wolf howls.
Hotel Transylvania.
The only five-star hotel in the world that provides sanctuary only for monsters.
Lurch stepped on the brakes.
Gomez pushed open the car door and took a deep breath of the air filled with the scent of decaying leaves.
"Ah! What a wonderful scent of death!" he praised, as he took Morticia's hand, which was clad in a black lace glove.
Qin Ming got out of the car carrying his travel bag.
He pushed open the heavy oak doors.
The lobby was practically a madhouse of dancing demons.
A tall, green-skinned brute covered in stitches was using his own detached left arm as a golf club.
A mummy wrapped in bandages was telling a dirty joke to a skeleton.
A group of large werewolf cubs were screaming as they tore at the lobby's expensive Persian carpet. Wayne, the werewolf father, was slumped on a sofa with dark circles under his eyes, looking like he'd lost his will to live.
"This place is really lively," Qin Ming commented.
Just then,
"Whoosh!"
A black afterimage plummeted from the lobby's vaulted ceiling, stopping precisely in front of The Addams Family.
A pale face, slicked-back black hair, and an extremely refined tuxedo paired with a high-collared, red-lined cape.
Vlad Dracula.
"Gomez! Morticia!" Dracula spread his arms, revealing a warm smile. "Welcome to Hotel Transylvania! Oh, look at little Wednesday, you've become even more gloomily charming."
Gomez laughed loudly and embraced the Vampire Lord.
Dracula had just let go when his gaze swept casually and suddenly froze.
His crimson eyes stared fixedly at Qin Ming, who was standing to the side.
His high-bridged nose twitched violently twice.
His originally pale face turned a sickly green, visible to the naked eye.
"H... Human?!"
Dracula let out an extremely suppressed shriek.
"Shut up, Dracula, your screaming is about to puncture my eardrums."
Gomez rubbed his ears in dissatisfaction. "Qin Ming is The Addams Family's most honored guest, and the only outlier Wednesday has ever acknowledged. Don't use your old-fashioned racial prejudices to judge him."
"But... he's a human!"
Dracula lowered his voice, his eyes darting around.
In the lobby, Murray the Mummy was trying to demonstrate to a small skeleton how to whistle without lungs, while several shriveled little monsters were perched on the chandelier, gnashing their teeth.
"If these old fogies find out a human has snuck into the hotel, they'll go crazy! They'll think this boy is going to smoke them out with garlic or pin them to the wall as specimens with silver forks!"
Dracula said, "This is my daughter's 118th birthday, nothing can go wrong!"
"Count Dracula."
Qin Ming tilted his head slightly, looking at this Vampire Lord who was more comical than majestic in the original work.
The halo behind his head was currently maintaining a very low-frequency vibration; in the eyes of ordinary monsters, it looked more like a strange headpiece with a metallic texture.
"Your concerns are unnecessary. I have no interest in slaughtering these... well, these interesting species, for the time being."
"For the time being?" Dracula keenly caught the phrase, his eyelids twitching wildly.
"Listen, kid, although you seem very calm, I have to protect you, and more importantly, I have to protect my reputation."
Dracula took a deep breath, as if he had made some sort of decision. "Come with me, I have to put some makeup on you.
As long as I paint you blue-purple and put in a couple of stitches, you can pose as Frank's distant cousin from out of town."
He reached out his long, pale, sharp-nailed hands, attempting to hold Qin Ming's shoulders.
However...
