187: Chapter 187 Solved Together
Dracula pulled out a snow-white handkerchief and wiped his fingers meticulously, his gaze shifting toward the pillar where Selene was hiding.
"Beautiful lady, the farce is over. You can come out now," Dracula said with a smile.

She slowly stepped out from behind the pillar, pointing her gun at Dracula.
"What exactly are you?" Selene's voice was extremely dry.
"Dracula, is it all settled?"
A slightly impatient young voice came from above the steps.
Qin Ming emerged from the shadows of the stairs, dragging the lookout Vampire—who was being choked so hard his eyes were rolling back—with one hand.
Dracula immediately turned around, stuffed the blood-stained handkerchief back into his pocket, and bowed slightly with respect. "My Lord, there is one left. If you require it, I shall crush her throat right now."
"Step back for now," Qin Ming said casually.
Qin Ming looked down at the native Vampire still feebly struggling in his hand, a hint of boredom flashing in his eyes.
A burst of blindingly pure white Holy Light instantly erupted from Qin Ming's palm.
"Aaaaah—!"
The Vampire let out an agonizingly shrill scream. The moment his body came into contact with the high-concentration Holy Light, his flesh and blood melted and carbonized frantically. In just two seconds, a complete body was reduced to a pile of ash in Qin Ming's hand, which scattered immediately as the draft in the subway station blew through.
[Ding! Killed a low-level Vampire. Reward points: 2.]
Standing a dozen meters away, Selene watched this scene, and her perpetually cold expression finally broke.
The corner of her eye twitched violently, and she blurted out, "What the f..."
For a Vampire who had lived in the darkness for hundreds of years, the pure Holy Light in Qin Ming's hand—capable of directly melting a soul—was a source of instinctive terror from the depths of her genes.
Qin Ming brushed the ash off his hands and looked up to size up Selene, who was wearing a tight leather outfit.
"You look..." Qin Ming rubbed his chin, "Exactly like a Vampire hunter I know. It's as if you were both carved from the same mold."
Qin Ming waved his hand. "I'm in a good mood today. You can leave, before I change my mind."
Selene gripped her gun tightly, her body retreating uncontrollably.
"Who... exactly are you people?" she asked through gritted teeth, posing one last question.
A faint curve formed at the corner of Qin Ming's mouth.
"Demon Hunters."
Selene didn't waste any more words. She holstered her gun and turned to sprint toward the subway station exit. Her black leather outfit became a blur in the passage. She needed to report today's events to her clan immediately; a group of completely unreasonable monsters had arrived in this city.
Watching Selene escape, Qin Ming turned to Dracula. "Go to the sewers. There are hundreds of bad doggies down there. Deal with them all. Don't leave a single one."
"As you wish. Slaughter is always the best pastime," Dracula said, revealing his sharp fangs.
His body suddenly exploded into tens of thousands of blood-red bats. Piercing ultrasound echoes rang through the subway station as the massive swarm of bats, like a black torrent, surged violently through the ventilation pipes and subway tunnels into Budapest's intricate underground drainage system.
Qin Ming withdrew his gaze and walked toward a corner of the subway platform.
Beside a row of benches lay an ordinary man, Michael, who had been knocked unconscious by a head injury from a stray bullet during the previous gunfight.
Perfect experimental material.
Qin Ming pulled his phone from his pocket. The screen instantly lit up with static, and Larry's patchwork face emerged.
"Larry." Qin Ming pointed at Michael on the ground. "Book him a private luxury room and pack him up. Don't let him die. Toss him to West later; he should be able to research something good out of him."
Larry replied in a dry, synthesized robotic voice, "Received... new friend... packing."
The screen flickered violently.
Michael vanished from the ground without a trace, dragged directly into the digital space.
Listening to the faint, shrill screams of werewolves coming from deep within the subway tunnels, points +3, points +4, points +5, points +6...
Qin Ming tucked his phone back into his pocket with satisfaction.
He turned and walked out of the subway station, standing once again on the streets of Budapest in the rainy night.
He checked the watch on his wrist.
It was only one in the morning.
"It's still early..." Qin Ming looked at the distant Gothic silhouette of the city. "Where to next?"
At two in the morning, in the Szentendre suburbs north of Budapest, stood a massive medieval castle.
This was the base of operations for the Budapest Vampire clan.
Qin Ming hovered in the night sky a hundred meters above the castle.
The cold rain was instantly evaporated by a thin layer of Divine Shield half a meter away from his body.
A black armored SUV crunched over the muddy forest path and braked sharply in front of the castle's heavy iron gates.
The car door pushed open.
Selene, in her tight leather outfit, stumbled through the gates, unable to maintain even her usual cold composure.
Qin Ming watched the dark figure disappear into the depths of the castle without stopping her.
An extremely thick scent of blood filled the air.
A swarm of dark red bats rose into the sky from the Black Forest below, quickly converging into human form in the void behind Qin Ming.
However, his right hand was death-gripping the back of a man's neck, holding him like a dead dog.
"My Lord," Dracula bowed slightly.
Qin Ming turned his head. "Hmm?"
His gaze fell upon the man being held—it was the leader of the werewolves, Lucian.
"There were too many rats in the sewers; it took a little time to clean them up." Dracula shook the man in his hand. "This fellow is the strongest of the lot. His bones are quite tough. He claims to have value; perhaps you might be interested."
Qin Ming looked down at Lucian from above.
Lucian struggled to lift his head.

"What value do you have?" Qin Ming's tone was flat.
Lucian coughed up a mouthful of black blood containing bits of internal organs. "I know a secret..."
"The fusion of Vampire and werewolf bloodlines?" Qin Ming interrupted him directly.
Lucian's pupils shrank suddenly, and his whole body stiffened in mid-air. He looked at the Asian youth before him, whom he had never even met, in disbelief.
"How do you know!"
"It seems you have no value then." Qin Ming turned his head, no longer looking at him.
Upon hearing this, the smile at the corner of Dracula's mouth widened instantly.
His slender fingers tightened abruptly, his sharp nails piercing Lucian's carotid artery.
"Wait!" Lucian exploded with a powerful will to live, his limbs struggling frantically. "You can take my life! But please... I beg you, let me have my revenge first!"
This werewolf leader, who had endured in the sewers for hundreds of years, cast aside all dignity, his voice shrill and desperate.
Qin Ming raised an eyebrow. "You want to kill Viktor? For the sake of his daughter who was burned to death by the sun?"
