It had been four weeks since the Progenitor of Humans and Vampires began his intimate bed battle with the two goddesses from the upper plane, the Vampire Goddess and the Werewolf Goddess, and still hadn't come out.

There were hundreds of very powerful beings waiting just outside the Twilight Castle, hoping to have an audience with the sole king of the human and vampire races.

No one knew what was keeping the great king busy, or when he would emerge, except for the five Countesses who sat in the throne hall on either side, looking toward the throne with expectant and frustrated expressions.

"He is so awesome… to think he can keep doing it for four weeks straight without stopping?" Akira Kaminari said, her voice nervous as she imagined what it would be like if it were her and her mate doing it for four weeks.

She couldn't control the trembling in her legs or the heat in her nether region.

"Well, he is the Progenitor of both Humans and Vampires… of course he'd have a powerful libido," Tiana Valthryne shrugged.

"But still, he's doing it with two goddesses for four weeks. Mortals can't handle sex with gods; they tire easily. But he doesn't seem anywhere near tired," Tiana continued.

"I'm also confused, but nothing he's done since he appeared has made sense…" Amaya Kuroyami rubbed her chin.

"Not to mention, he's not just our Progenitor…"

"He's also the Progenitor of Humans," Lillian added.

"What does that make him, exactly?" Akira Kaminari asked.

"I don't know… I'm more curious about his connection with the goddesses he's with right now, and the third connection we can feel through our bond with him," Lillian Brenlith said thoughtfully.

"I can't help but assume he's some kind of bigshot from the upper plane. That would explain his ridiculous growth rate…"

"I agree. But still, he seems even greater than anything you'd find in the upper plane," Amaya Kuroyami shook her head.

"Whatever the case, it doesn't matter. He's now the Progenitor of the Vampire Race and our mate… our husband," Lillian said slowly.

"We don't have to worry about threat of extinction anymore. We can focus on becoming the strongest race now."

"About that… what about Humans? He's their Progenitor too," Tiana Valthryne asked with a confused expression.

A Progenitor is not just the origin and creator of a race, but also its protector.

Since Damian was the Progenitor of both Vampires and Humans, he was compelled to protect them both equally.

He would never favor one over the other.

That meant that Vampires and Humans were now like brothers and sisters in a way.

Which also meant that Vampires and Humans had no choice but to become allies.

And now that they thought about it, the Countesses could understand that this would be difficult.

Vampires had always looked down on Humans, seeing them as nothing but walking blood bags and toys.

And Humans had always feared and hated Vampires for how they were treated.

On another note, the Humans the Vampires had dealt with until now were just unevolved Humans without a Progenitor.

"I guess we have no choice but to cooperate with the Humans from now on… we have to wait for our husband to come out before we act," Lillian Brenlith said with a longing expression, staring in the direction where Damian had spent four weeks engaged in intimate activities with Lenora and Amelia.

Inside the bedroom of the Vampire King…

It had been four weeks since Damian began his intimate actions with his wives, Lenora and Amelia, and he had only just finished a few hours ago.

Now, he rested peacefully on the bed.

And none of the memories held anything useful about who he was, what he was, or how he came to be.

Even the memories involving the three goddesses were incomplete, as if intentionally blocked by an external force.

At the same time, the memories conveyed that this was for his own good, somehow... which Damian still didn't understand.

How could blocking his memories benefit him?

All those memories were unlocked during the sex, but he was too focused on the goddesses to review them.

In fact, as soon as he started having sex with them, he couldn't stop or think about anything else except making them moan endlessly.

The only reason he had been able to stop was because his soul had grown strong enough to regain control after four weeks of non-stop action.

Even now, his instincts as the Progenitor were urging him to procreate again.

"Are you really satisfied, darling?" Lenora asked as she gently massaged his bare chest around his nipple.

"I'm… okay…" Damian said, concern clear in his eyes. "Are you two okay? Are you hurt or anything? Do you want me to do anything?"

"You're cute when you're concerned about us… like you've always been," Lenora said before leaning in and planting a small kiss on his lips.

"We're fine. We're more than fine, actually," she added, patting his chest.

"Yeah, darling. I've never been happier… You were so good, it was heavenly, I can't even describe the pleasure you gave me," Amelia said, completely unhinged.

"T-Thanks… I don't know how to respond to that," Damian smiled slightly.

"You don't have to respond… we know it must be so hard for you to understand what's happening," Lenora said gently.

"I just want to say… I'm sorry if I was forceful or rough at any point…" Damian said with a concerned expression.

"Stop apologizing, darling," Amelia pouted. "First of all, you'd never hurt us. And secondly, you were heavenly. All you ever did was make us feel good, great and heavenly."

"I mean… it was your first time, right?" Damian asked, not really sure how he should even bring it up.

When they had started to do it, Damian found out that both Amelia and Lenora were virgins, just like him.

He hadn't expected that.

From the memories he'd unlocked before they started having sex, he knew they already had a history with him, which made him wonder: how were they still virgins?

Not that he was accusing them of anything, he was just curious.

It wasn't like they had been with someone else, even in his previous life. He was their husband. He was just… curious, that's all.

"So that's what you were worried about? Hehe," Lenora chuckled, as if she found it amusing.

"Before I explain," she added, "tell me, how much of your original memories have you unlocked?"

"Well," Damian said, "I recovered all the memories we shared together, the time we spent, everything we did together… although I don't remember the third wife's face."

"We are your wives. You understand that now, don't you?" Amelia asked.

"Yes… but it's still frustrating not to have every memory unlocked," Damian admitted.

"Also, I know I used to be someone with powerful influence, but for some reason, I regressed and became a human who lived on Earth," Damian explained.

This was also why he didn't remember how he was born, who his parents were, or anything beyond the time he spent in that orphanage.

"You regressed because you lost a lot of your soul power," Amelia said.

"As a result, your soul couldn't handle our connection or your memories, so it was forced to bury everything deep within, completely dormant and inaccessible. You'll regain access as your soul recovers its original strength."

A soul grows through experience, but once it's damaged, the experiences it contains are damaged as well.


All those years ago, something caused Damian's soul to lose an immense portion of its strength.

But since his soul was already very unique, the experiences it held weren't lost or destroyed, they were sealed away, made inaccessible to the soul itself.

"To answer your earlier question..." Lenora continued,

"The connection we share is much deeper and more unique than anything, it transcended time and space. It also required immense soul power to retain. When your connection with us went dormant, we were affected too."

"It was as if we lost our connection to you. It felt like we lost our literal soulmate, like a part of our soul was gone. As a result, our physical bodies and physical connection with you were reset.
