74: Chapter 75 A Night of Madness and a Father's Love as Solid as a Mountain

I don't know how much time had passed, but when the final wave had swept over, Yu Bo was panting heavily, unwilling to pull away for a long time.

Yin Tianxue was limp, lacking the strength even in her fingertips, and could only weakly bear his weight, feeling his heartbeat that had yet to calm down.

The air was filled with the lingering, seductive scent of passion and a faint smell of sweat.

Yu Bo came back to his senses but did not leave; instead, he turned on his side and pulled her tightly into his arms, drawing the thin quilt from the side to cover their sweat-dampened bodies.

He lowered his head, raining soft, dense kisses on her damp forehead, the space between her brows, and the tip of her nose, before finally landing on her swollen lips, full of post-coital tenderness and satisfaction.

"Tianxue……" He called her name over and over, his voice filled with the immense joy of having regained what was lost and endless affection.

Yin Tianxue was exhausted to the point where she didn't even have the strength to open her eyes, simply nestling in his arms and feeling the rise and fall of his chest and his powerful heartbeat.

Her body was utterly fatigued, but deep within her heart, a strange, long-lost sense of peace and satisfaction slowly rose.

It was as if, in this intense entanglement and fusion, the icebergs that had stood between them had been melted away at the edges by the scorching tide of passion.

She didn't speak, only snuggled tighter into his arms, searching for the most comfortable position.

Yu Bo felt her reliance, and his heart softened into a pool of spring water.

He tightened his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head, and let out a sigh of contentment.

"Sleep, Baby." He whispered into her ear, filled with endless doting.

In his deep, gentle voice, Yin Tianxue's consciousness gradually blurred, and she sank into a sweet, dark slumber.

This time, there were no cold, bone-chilling images in her dream, only a warm and peaceful darkness, and a firm, reliable embrace.

Morning sunlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains, casting mottled shadows on the messy bed.

Yin Tianxue woke up driven by her internal clock, and the solid arm around her waist made her instantly clear-headed as the scenes of last night's madness flooded into her mind uncontrollably.

Her cheeks instantly flushed crimson, and her body stiffened subconsciously.

The arm around her waist seemed to sense her movement, tightening slightly to pull her firmly into his embrace.

Yu Bo's deep, sleepy voice sounded above her head: "Awake? Sleep a while longer……"

His breath brushed against her earlobe, carrying the hoarseness of just waking up and a sense of satisfied languor.

Yin Tianxue did not move, nor did she respond; she simply kept her eyes open, watching the light and shadows on the ceiling, her mood complex and indescribable.

The physical intimacy seemed to have briefly numbed the wounds in her heart, but now that she was awake, the doubts and pain she had deliberately ignored began to surface once again.

She could feel the man's body temperature and heartbeat behind her—so real, so warm.

Yet that ten-second video was like an invisible thorn, still lodged there.

She didn't know how long this reconciliation, led by their bodies, could last, or how many problems it could mask.

Seeming to sense the change in her mood, Yu Bo also fully woke up.

He didn't force her to turn around to face him, but instead hugged her tighter for a moment before releasing his arm and sitting up.

"I'll go make breakfast." His voice had returned to its usual clarity, carrying a deliberate gentleness and attempt to please. "You lie down for a bit longer. What do you want to eat?"

"Anything." Yin Tianxue buried her face in the pillow and said in a muffled voice.

Watching her ostrich-like posture, Yu Bo felt a slight ache in his heart, but he didn't say anything more.

He simply leaned over to kiss the top of her head lightly, then stepped out of bed on tiptoes, picked up the pajamas scattered on the floor to put them on, and walked out of the bedroom.

Hearing the sound of the door closing gently, Yin Tianxue finally turned over slowly, looking at the empty bedside with a dazed expression.

On the nightstand, the snowflake necklace lay quietly, refracting tiny glimmers of light in the morning sun.

She reached out to take the necklace, its cold touch helping to clear her chaotic thoughts a little.

No matter what, life had to go on.

She took a deep breath, got out of bed, and walked into the bathroom.

The warm water washed over her body, washing away some of the embarrassment and complex emotions.

Looking at the ambiguous marks remaining on her body in the mirror, her cheeks heated up again.

She washed up hurriedly, changed into decent loungewear, and put the necklace back on her neck.

When she walked out of the bedroom, the aroma of breakfast was already wafting out.

In the open kitchen, Yu Bo was wearing an apron, skillfully frying eggs and bacon, with oatmeal simmering in a small pot nearby.

The morning light shone on him, outlining a domestic and warm silhouette.

This scene was so familiar that she felt a bit dazed, as if the cracks from before had never existed.

...

Meanwhile, in the study of the Yin Family villa, the atmosphere was far from this "warm".

Yin Hanhai sat behind the large desk with a grim expression, his fingers tapping the tabletop rhythmically, making a steady, soft sound.

Chen Feng stood in front of the desk, holding a more detailed report in his hand.

"Chairman, the in-depth investigation into the internal IP has yielded results." Chen Feng's voice was lowered.

"The source has been locked down to the office computer of Lin Rui, the deputy manager of the Marketing Department, and the timeline matches."

"We pulled all the surveillance footage from the Marketing Department and surrounding floors that afternoon. Combined with the server log analysis, we can basically confirm that the person who sent that anonymous video email was Lin Rui himself."

"During that time, he operated the computer alone in the office for about fifteen minutes, looking nervous and glancing at the door multiple times. After sending the email, he immediately cleared his browser history and some temporary files, but our technicians still recovered some traces."

"Lin Rui……" Yin Hanhai repeated the name, his eyes cold.

He had some impression of this young man; his work ability was passable, he was the nephew of one of the veteran employees, and usually seemed well-behaved.

He didn't expect that he would dare to set his sights on his daughter!

"Have you investigated the motive?"

"Preliminary investigations show that Lin Rui indeed harbored thoughts about the Eldest Miss that went beyond a superior-subordinate relationship and had tried to approach her several times, but was politely rejected by the Eldest Miss each time."

"Recently, several small sums of money from unknown sources have flowed into his personal account, and his spending level has also increased."

"In addition, we discovered that he has been in frequent contact with an account on an encrypted messaging app. The registration information for that account is incomplete, but the final IP location points to an internet cafe in the west of the city that does not require real-name registration." Chen Feng continued his report.

"We suspect that he may have been bought or utilized by someone. We have already sent people to keep an eye on him secretly and are attempting to track the true identity of that encrypted account."

Yin Hanhai snorted coldly: "A traitor! Keep a close watch on him, don't alert the enemy for now, and see who else is behind him! Also, how is the investigation into Shen Nian going?"

"Shen Nian's background is more complex than expected." Chen Feng's expression became even more solemn.

"Ten years ago, while she was in Jiangzhou under the alias 'Shen Nan', she had a close relationship with Yang Wenbin and was almost inseparable from him."

"After Yang Wenbin died, she quickly left Jiangzhou and disappeared for several years."

"We found that before she left, she had a hospitalization record at a private hospital controlled by the Yang Family, but the specific reason and diagnosis were deliberately erased, leaving only some vague fragments of prescription notes."

"According to expert analysis, some of these medications are suspected to be related to…… early pregnancy preservation and post-miscarriage recovery."
