116: Tanzania
Ten thousand meters high, above the Indian Ocean.
A pitch-black, beautifully streamlined private jet glided smoothly above the clouds.
To outsiders, and even on aviation control radar screens across the globe, it was merely a state-of-the-art "Gulfstream G700" private business jet with a legitimate flight plan and identification code.
But in reality, this was just its camouflage.
Its true form was a product of a god-level civilization—the [Phantom Anti-Gravity Shuttle].
Inside the cabin, there was none of the cramped or oppressive feeling of a traditional aircraft.
It was more like a top-tier sky garden suspended in the heavens.
The floor was paved with white microcrystalline stone from the Eternal Star City ecological zone, feeling as warm and smooth as jade underfoot.
The cabin walls weren't cold plastic either, but a sort of translucent smart material that could adjust its transparency and the displayed scenery according to the passenger's mood.
Jiang Yuan lay lazily on a wide, leather levitating sofa, swirling a glass of "Nebula Juice" in his hand—a drink that couldn't be found anywhere on this planet.
"Master, we will enter Tanzanian airspace in ten minutes."
A tall, stunningly beautiful personal guard maid walked to his side and gently refilled half his glass with juice.
She wore a proper black-and-white maid outfit, but if one had X-ray vision, they would see that what flowed beneath those clothes was not flesh and blood, but liquid nanometal capable of withstanding a nuclear blast.
"Mhm, fly a bit slower."
Jiang Yuan glanced at the sea of clouds receding rapidly outside the window and said indifferently:
"We're here for a vacation; there's no need to rush."
If this shuttle were to operate at full power, it could even fly at sub-light speeds, circling the Earth in just a few seconds.
But that would be far too boring.
The meaning of travel lies in the scenery along the way.
"As you command. Cruise speed has been locked at Mach 0.8."
The maid bowed slightly and stepped aside.
Like a lazy giant bird, the shuttle drifted leisurely across the East African coastline, over the majestic snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, and finally arrived at the land known as "God's Garden"—the Serengeti Plain.
It was currently the dry season.
Looking down from high above, the earth presented a vast and magnificent golden hue.
Countless tiny black dots moved across the ground; it was the migrating army of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, stretching for dozens of kilometers—a truly spectacular sight.
"Right there."
Jiang Yuan pointed to an open highland deep in the savannah, where a massive acacia tree stood solitary and stubborn against the setting sun.
"Engage silent mode. Prepare to land."
Buzz—
The shuttle's camouflage hull underwent a ripple barely perceptible to the naked eye.
The roar of the jet engines vanished instantly.
In its place was the unique, low hum of the anti-gravity engines, sounding like a heartbeat.
This behemoth didn't look for a runway like an ordinary plane; instead, it defied the laws of physics by hovering in mid-air and then descending vertically and slowly, like a feather, onto the clearing next to the acacia tree.
Aside from flattening a few clumps of dry grass, it didn't even startle the weaver birds resting in the tree.
The hatch slid open silently.
A wave of heat mixed with the scent of hay, soil, and wildness rushed in.
Jiang Yuan walked down the ramp, his feet touching the solid red earth. The feeling of being on solid ground put him in a great mood.
"The scenery is nice, just a bit desolate."
He looked around.
Aside from grass and trees, there wasn't a trace of human civilization for a hundred miles.
If this were an ordinary tourist, they would be miserably setting up tents, starting fires, and worrying about wild animal attacks right now.
But Jiang Yuan simply fished a silver, capsule-sized metal ball out of his pocket.
Portable Nano-Capsule Camp (Luxury Edition).
"Go."
He gave it a casual toss.
The metal ball rolled onto the flat ground beneath the acacia tree.
In the next second, a jaw-dropping scene unfolded.
The tiny capsule liquefied instantly, spreading wildly in all directions like living quicksilver.
Click, click, click—
Subtle sounds of reorganization filled the air.
These nanobots frantically devoured the surrounding soil elements, combining them with their own compressed materials to begin constructing a physical structure.
In just ten seconds.
A single-story luxury villa spanning five hundred square meters with a highly modern design appeared out of thin air on the wilderness.
It had no brick walls; its perimeter was entirely made of high-strength, one-way transparent floor-to-ceiling glass.
From the outside, it looked like a giant mirror reflecting the savannah landscape, blending perfectly into the environment.
From the inside, however, it offered a 360-degree unobstructed panoramic view.
Jiang Yuan stepped into the villa.
The climate control system inside had already started, making it cool and pleasant; the air even carried a faint scent of lavender.
The massive living room came fully equipped with leather sofas, Persian rugs, an open kitchen, and even a wine cabinet filled with ice.
Most exaggerated of all, the floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom faced the acacia tree under the setting sun.
At that moment, a curious giraffe poked its head out, blinking its large eyes as it looked through the glass at this sudden intruder.
Jiang Yuan walked to the wine cabinet, took out a bottle of champagne, and opened it with a "pop."
He walked to the window, raised his glass, and gave the giraffe a distant toast.
"Hello, neighbor."
"I think I'm going to like it here."
"Master, what would you like for lunch?"
The personal guard maid behind him—codename "Zero"—stepped forward with silent strides.
"No need."
Jiang Yuan waved his hand, took off his Nano-Trench Coat, and tossed it casually onto the sofa.
"Since it's camping, it's only fun if I do it myself."
He walked to the futuristic open kitchen island.
Although he said "do it myself," the equipment here was practically cheating.
Jiang Yuan opened the refrigerator and took out a tomahawk steak.
This wasn't ordinary beef; it was perfect Wagyu bred using top-tier genetic technology in the Eternal Star City ecological zone.
It possessed magnificent marble-like marbling, and there was no need to slaughter a cow; the pure meat was grown directly in a culture medium, free of any parasites or gaminess.
Sizzle—
Jiang Yuan placed the steak on a seemingly ordinary black stone slab.
The slab instantly heated to a constant 230 degrees Celsius.
There was no smoke, only the fat on the steak's surface quickly caramelizing under the high heat, releasing a rich aroma of meat.
He sprinkled some sea salt and ground a bit of black pepper.
The simplest cooking often brings out the most primal flavors of the ingredients.
Five minutes later.
Holding the plate, Jiang Yuan didn't head for the dining room but instead pressed a touchpoint on the wall.
Hum.
That massive floor-to-ceiling glass window facing the acacia tree actually began to dissolve and recede like ripples in water—this was the deformation function of the nanomaterials, turning the interior into a semi-open terrace.
The wind from the savannah instantly rushed in.
