29: A Perfect Match

"A little closer, yes, just like that!"

The Photographer directed Jiang Yuan and Liu Zhuoyun to stand closer, almost touching, just to capture a perfect group photo.

Liu Zhuoyun's face instantly flushed slightly.

Having been so close just now, she could even feel the warm breath emanating from Jiang Yuan through their thin clothing; that warmth made her heart flutter.

"Yes, yes, look at each other, and let your eyes show emotion!"

The Photographer, like an experienced "Strategist," continuously guided them.

The moment their eyes met, Liu Zhuoyun's face immediately turned crimson, like a ripe apple.

She was a little embarrassed and couldn't meet Jiang Yuan's gaze directly. Although Jiang Yuan was also a bit uncomfortable, he still stared straight at Liu Zhuoyun, observing this hesitant yet exceptionally charming girl.

"Take a deep breath, relax."

Jiang Yuan's voice was gentle and magnetic, seeming to possess a calming magic.

Upon hearing him, Liu Zhuoyun surprisingly calmed down. She also mustered her courage and looked back into Jiang Yuan's eyes.

However, her slightly trembling eyelashes still inadvertently betrayed the unrest in her heart at that moment.

This was the first time in her life she had been so close to a boy, looking at him so intimately.

She could clearly see Jiang Yuan's deep, starlike eyes, quietly gazing at her. There seemed to be some indescribable emotion mixed within them, making her unable to discern it, or perhaps it was just her own imagination.

Liu Zhuoyun's heart seemed to be beating erratically, sometimes fast, as if it would burst from her chest, and other times, it seemed still, falling into a blank void.

She had never felt time pass so slowly.

"Alright."

The Photographer finally called out with satisfaction, as if deliberately prolonging it, making the two maintain their close-up eye contact for a full three minutes before ending.

Upon hearing the instruction, Liu Zhuoyun immediately adjusted her posture and took a few deep breaths, trying to hide her inner turmoil and shyness.

The Photographer looked at the photos of the incomparably handsome Jiang Yuan and the fairy-like Liu Zhuoyun, and couldn't help but exclaim in his heart: They are truly a perfect match, a match made in heaven! These two are simply too compatible, a couple born for the camera.

After finishing this set of "emotional" group photos, Liu Zhuoyun shyly retreated to the side.

Jiang Yuan looked at her flushed cheeks and slightly downcast eyes, a wave of tenderness rising in his heart.

He knew that for an introverted girl like Liu Zhuoyun, the previous session was a huge challenge for her.

He picked up the camera and flipped through the photos the Photographer had just taken.

In those photos, his interaction with Liu Zhuoyun was captured vividly, especially the few where they made eye contact. The expressions in their eyes intertwined, full of an indescribable feeling, making even him feel a little moved when he saw them.

"They're really well-shot."

Jiang Yuan praised sincerely, returning the camera to the Photographer. He decided that these photos must be carefully preserved.

Song Qinghan and Shen Lingke also came over, looking at the photos, their eyes filled with a hint of envy and blessing.

Zhang Xueya, on the other hand, directly picked up her phone and shared a few of the best group photos in their sisters' group chat, captioning it: "These two, I'm shipping them!"

The sun was just right, and the Folk Park gradually became crowded with tourists. Jiang Yuan continued to lead the four Girls through the ancient buildings, admiring the unique Korean ethnic style, occasionally stopping at interesting stalls.

He noticed that although Liu Zhuoyun didn't talk much, she was full of curiosity about everything around her.

Her gaze would inadvertently linger on exquisite handicrafts or be attracted by street performers. Jiang Yuan observed this, silently noting her subtle interests.

In a blink of an eye, dusk fell, and time unknowingly advanced to evening.

At this moment, Jiang Yuan and his companions had changed back into their original outfits and arrived at Yanji's most famous internet-famous Bullet Screen Wall check-in spot.

Here, neon lights intertwined and flickered, illuminating the entire street with dazzling brilliance. The crowds came and went, bustling, and retro music with a sense of age played in their ears. Everything was just right, full of a lively atmosphere. Many tourists had already taken advantageous positions, holding up their phones to take photos and check in, almost everyone holding a cup of special coffee with the word "Yanji" written on it.

Actually, Jiang Yuan felt this place was a bit ordinary, and most tourists just quickly checked in and left. However, he still took individual photos with each of the Girls, and then a group photo together, leaving a memento.

These photos were taken by Zhao Xin, who had rushed over. It turned out that he and Li Yu had encountered a traffic jam on the way, otherwise, they would have arrived much earlier.

After taking photos, the group prepared to go to dinner. Zhang Xueya led them to a well-known local barbecue restaurant.

At this time, there was already a long queue at the entrance, with crowds surging, but because she had reserved a private room in advance, the group had a table directly upon arrival, and the seven people grandly entered the restaurant.

Following the waiter's guidance, they arrived at a spacious private room.

Two grills were placed in the center of the table.

Zhang Xueya had thought very carefully; after all, one grill was just right for four people, but for seven, it would be a bit insufficient. This thoughtfulness made Jiang Yuan secretly praise her.

"Brother Jiang, you guys order first."

Zhang Xueya handed the exquisite menu to Jiang Yuan, signaling him to take the lead.

Jiang Yuan didn't stand on ceremony with her. After taking the menu, he casually picked a few appealing meat dishes and then handed it to Zhao Xin.

"I won't look, Brother Jiang, you can just order whatever you think is good. I'll eat anything, as long as it's meat!"

Zhao Xin chuckled. He was an out-and-out carnivore, with no particular requirements for the type of ingredients.

So, Jiang Yuan handed the menu back to Zhang Xueya, who was even more generous, ordering a whole string of meats and side dishes in one go, determined to ensure everyone ate to their heart's content.

After the waiter brought up the hot charcoal, some of the dishes also followed.

Although called dishes, they were basically all meat, with only two portions of rather unappetizing-looking mushrooms.

Those were specifically requested by Shen Lingke, who was on a diet recently and wanted to eat less meat.

However, the main meats were high-quality beef such as beef short ribs, steak, and marbled beef.

Surprisingly, there was no pork or chicken, indicating that everyone was a loyal beef enthusiast.

The barbecue, of course, was handled by the two "barbecue masters," Zhao Xin and Li Yu.

Zhang Xueya sat directly next to Zhao Xin, waiting for him to grill the food.

The two started bickering and teasing each other as soon as they met, making everyone laugh heartily, and the private room was filled with joyous laughter.

Liu Zhuoyun was sitting with Jiang Yuan, and Song Qinghan was on Liu Zhuoyun's other side.

Shen Lingke sat opposite, right next to Zhang Xueya. This seating arrangement allowed everyone to communicate easily and happily.

Jiang Yuan carefully placed grilled meat slices for Liu Zhuoyun, his actions thoughtful and natural. The latter didn't stand on ceremony, eating them in a few bites, not even needing to wrap them in lettuce.

"You don't have to keep serving me; just eat yourself."

Seeing Jiang Yuan about to serve her meat again, Liu Zhuoyun couldn't help but stop him, her tone carrying a hint of embarrassment.

Immediately, she picked up a piece of grilled beef herself and ate it with satisfaction.
