45: Even bears can dance!
After sending off the fans, the parking lot quieted down again.
Jiang Yuan mounted his phone back in the car, not in a rush to end the livestream.
"Alright, the meal is finished, and the fans have been met."
He smiled at the camera, "That's it for today's livestream; I'm going for a drive by the seaside."
After saying that, amidst a flurry of comments begging him not to end the stream and asking for "one more look at sister-in-law," he decisively turned off the livestream.
The world instantly became quiet.
Gu Xinyu stood by the passenger door, watching the backs of the two boys as they walked away, then turned to look at Jiang Yuan, her eyes filled with a hint of a smile.
"Brother Jiang, you're really good to your fans."
She said softly.
"Of course, after all, they can be considered people who support me."
Jiang Yuan casually tossed his phone onto the center console, "Besides, watching them, sometimes I find it quite interesting."
"Hmm."
Gu Xinyu fastened her seatbelt and asked, turning her head: "So where are we going now?"
"Let's go check out the Ocean Museum."
Jiang Yuan replied offhandedly, tapping the accelerator lightly. The carbon-fiber-wrapped pagani let out a low roar, like an awakened beast, and slowly drove out of the parking lot.
Because the Polar Ocean World was some distance from the hotel, and considering the subsequent itinerary, Jiang Yuan had already arranged for a vehicle swap when he checked out that morning.
He first drove the pagani back to the hotel, and just in time, the brabus that had been shipped over arrived.
Amidst the stunned gazes of passersby, Jiang Yuan signed the papers and handed the head-turning supercar over to the specialists to be shipped back home.
Afterward, he opened the car door and sat inside the tall and powerful brabus.
One has to admit, when driving for a long time or going out for fun, this big off-roader is just better.
One second, in the sports car, it felt like his butt was scraping the ground, and he could feel every pebble on the road; the next second, sitting in the brabus, his field of vision instantly elevated by two meters. That sense of looking down from above was incredibly clear, almost like sitting in a mobile fortress.
There was some traffic on the road, and the half-hour journey took a full hour to complete.
There are two oceanariums in Qingdao, and Jiang Yuan chose the Polar Ocean World, as he heard that there were more animal performances and more interesting interactions here.
Although it was peak tourist season, and the long line at the entrance snaked out to the plaza, Jiang Yuan held a VIP all-access pass.
Under the envious gazes of countless tourists, he and Gu Xinyu walked directly through the exclusive VIP passage, clearing security in seconds.
"Might as well continue the livestream; I'm idle anyway."
Just after entering the venue, Jiang Yuan saw that the surrounding environment was nice, bustling with noise and excitement, so he took out his phone.
It was a good time since the buzz from the morning hadn't faded yet.
He skillfully opened TikTok and casually typed a few words for the title: 【Taking everyone to tour the oceanarium】.
As soon as the stream started, the number of viewers in the livestream room instantly began to jump.
After all, having hit the trending search yesterday and done a livestream this morning, the attention was still there. Coupled with the system's push notifications, two or three thousand people flooded in within just a few dozen seconds.
"Wow! The missing person has returned!"
"The big boss was right; starting livestreams at random times is just too casual."
"Good morning, big boss! Where is this? Looks like an oceanarium?"
"Playing in different ways every day; is this the boring life of the rich?"
Jiang Yuan glanced at the comments, smiled, and waved at the camera: "Just arrived at Qingdao Polar Ocean World, taking everyone to see the bears."
Not far from the entrance was the polar animal zone.
Behind the huge glass curtain wall were several massive polar bears.
These masters were clearly used to being pampered; they were all fat and sturdy, currently lying sprawled out on the ice, fast asleep. Their bellies rose and fell with their breathing. No matter how the tourists outside the glass tapped or shouted, they didn't even lift an eyelid—the main theme being: the world may be noisy, but I sleep alone.
"Hello, Handsome Guy, would you like to experience feeding the bears? We have fresh small fish."
A young girl wearing a work uniform, carrying a plastic basket, happened to walk up to Jiang Yuan.
The basket contained a few cleaned, ice-fresh fish, still dripping with water.
"How much?"
Jiang Yuan asked offhandedly. He understood these tourist trap tactics too well: taking animal feed and selling it to tourists not only saves the zookeepers work but also earns extra money—a typical closed commercial loop.
"Twenty per fish, Handsome Guy, want to try one?"
The young girl was originally promoting professionally, but when she looked up and saw Jiang Yuan's face, her voice unconsciously became a bit sweeter, and her eyes sparkled as she stared at him.
Jiang Yuan rubbed his chin, glanced at Gu Xinyu, who was standing to the side, looking eager but too shy to speak up, and smiled.
"Sure."
He pointed to the basket in the young girl's hand, "I'll take the whole basket."
"Ah? You want it all?"
The girl was stunned for a moment. There were at least seven or eight fish in this basket; usually, tourists would just buy one or two for fun.
"Yeah, I want it all."
Jiang Yuan took out his phone directly.
"Alright! That's 140 in total, just give me 100!"
The girl deftly handed over the basket, not forgetting to give a Handsome Guy exclusive discount, her face blooming with a smile.
The comments in the livestream room instantly flooded the screen:
"He wants it all"
"Dying of laughter, normal people: buy one to try; Big Boss: empty the shopping cart."
"The young lady selling fish is giving him googly eyes; this discount makes me feel bad for the boss."
Jiang Yuan took the basket and handed the long-handled tongs to Gu Xinyu: "Come on, you try first."
"I... I'm afraid I won't throw it accurately."
Although Gu Xinyu said that, her hands honestly took the tongs.
She walked to the railing, aimed for a long time, as if calculating a parabola while solving a math problem, then finally took a deep breath and threw it with force!
"Plop."
The fish traced an awkward short arc in the air; before it had even flown halfway across the pool, it fell helplessly into the water, splashing a small spray.
The polar bear on the ice twitched its ears, lazily opened one eye, glanced at the fish in the water, and then looked at the distance. It seemed to think it wasn't worth going into the water for such a small amount of meat, so it rolled over, turned its butt toward the audience, and went back to sleep.
"Pfft, hahaha!"
"Bear: That's it? No sincerity, not eating."
"Sister-in-law's arm strength is not good; needs more practice."
Gu Xinyu's face instantly turned red, and she looked at Jiang Yuan, somewhat embarrassed: "These tongs are a bit slippery..."
"It's okay, watch me."
Jiang Yuan smiled and took the tongs. Without any visible aiming, he casually picked up a fish and flicked his wrist seemingly at random.
"Whoosh—"
The fish, as if it had eyes, traced a sharp parabola in the air, precisely crossed the water surface, and with a "thwack," landed squarely on the ice right in front of the polar bear's nose!
This is what you call skill.
With his physical attributes enhanced by the system, his control had long reached a microscopic level; let alone throwing a fish, he could even hit a target with an embroidery needle.
The polar bear, which was pretending to be dead, was startled by the crisp sound. It twitched its nose and smelled the fishy scent close by.
It probably didn't expect such a good thing as delivery to its doorstep. It slowly crawled up, extended its tongue, curled it, and swallowed the fish directly.
After eating, it didn't go back to sleep. Instead, it swayed over to the glass wall, raised its head, and those black bean-like eyes stared fixedly at the basket in Jiang Yuan's hand, even waving its paw in a human-like manner.
"Holy crap! It came alive!"
"Has this bear become a spirit? It was ignoring us just now, and now it's actually starting to work?"
"Bear: This is the real top-ranked big brother; the previous one doesn't count."
"Hahahaha, this screwed-up world, are even bears this realistic?"
The surrounding tourists also let out bursts of exclamations, and many raised their phones to start recording.
Jiang Yuan looked at the "food-motivated" bear, a playful smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
He wasn't in a rush, throwing one fish after another, each time accurately landing it right by its mouth. He could even control the landing spot, leading the clumsy polar bear to run left and jump right on the ice, essentially putting on a "Polar Bear Aerobics" show for the audience on the spot.
After the basket of fish was finished, the bear clearly hadn't had enough and kept pawing at the glass, refusing to leave.
"Alright, don't be greedy."
Jiang Yuan clapped his hands, returned the empty basket to the young girl who was already dumbfounded, and smiled at the livestream: "See that? As long as the money is right, even a polar bear will dance for you."
