352: Report summary and update plan for next month.
This report details my current medical condition. Brothers who don't want to read it can skip ahead... Hello, I took a taxi, and the round trip plus highway tolls cost over 200 yuan.
The day before yesterday, I took a ride-share to The First Peoples Hospital in Shantou to see Dr. Qin Zhanting in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
I told the doctor about my general situation: prostatitis, unformed stools, and always feeling like I haven't fully urinated after peeing, etc.

But there was no other way; if I didn't explain clearly, I was afraid the doctor wouldn't be able to accurately diagnose my condition... My mom suggested checking my sperm midway, but I flat-out refused. I honestly felt that the most urgent issue to treat right now wasn't a sperm problem.
In the end, my parents couldn't persuade me and stopped insisting I get a sperm test.
After hearing my description, the doctor told me to go for a blood test first. He seemed to want to check my heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys????
Anyway, I didn't understand, so I just went for the blood draw. By the way, blood draws are terrifying!!! ┌(.Д.)┐
The blood test was so expensive, 242 yuan.
The items checked:
One item was also unqualified. Does any brother know what this is? [Prolactin?]
Because after the blood draw, we had to wait for the blood test report, which wouldn't be ready until after 3 PM. We had taken a ride-share there in the morning.
So, I took my parents to a large shopping mall, we had pork belly chicken for lunch, and each got a cup of milk tea. It was their first time trying massage chairs, etc.
It was my parents' first time in such a large place; they seemed a bit reserved. I felt a pang of shame, blaming my own incompetence! o(╥﹏╥)o
Around 3 PM, we rushed back to the hospital. After the doctor reviewed the test report, he immediately prescribed medication for me.
I have to say, Western medicine is really straightforward. He just glanced at it, then told me to try to avoid masturbating in the future.
Then he casually prescribed two Western medicines and told me I could leave. He didn't say anything during the process, didn't explain what medicines he prescribed, or if I would get better after taking them. He just said to see the effect after taking them... ̄□ ̄||
And I suspect the doctor collaborates with outside pharmacies... because after prescribing the medicine, he told me to go to a specific pharmacy outside the hospital to get it. I don't know what's going on?
I always thought hospital medicines had to be dispensed within the hospital. Have any brothers gone to a hospital where buying medicine was like mine?
Anyway, I relied on navigation to get to the pharmacy the doctor mentioned and got about two weeks' worth of medication, costing around 600 to nearly 700 yuan. This type of medicine can't even be covered by medical insurance. The pharmaceutical industry is truly a huge profiteer... Just four boxes of medicine cost 655!
Three boxes of capsules, three times a day, three pills each time, expected to last 15 days.
This small box, I heard, is imported from abroad, 387 big bucks... Here's the key point: I didn't know what this medicine was at first, so I looked it up... Finally, I discovered this is, what the hell, a kind of alternative Viagra????!!!
However, it should be somewhat different from Viagra. It's a prescription drug, also known as Cialis, primarily used to treat male erectile dysfunction. It belongs to the Type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitors and is said to maintain sexual ability for over 36 hours?
But there are some side effects after taking it. I took one pill, felt a bit dizzy, and my blood pressure seemed elevated, but it's tolerable.
The commonly mentioned Viagra on the market is an over-the-counter drug called Sildenafil, but it has greater side effects on the body.
I specifically looked into it and found there's another type of Viagra called Dapoxetine, also specifically for premature ejaculation... Never mind, I seem to be saying too much.
Anyway, I'm a bit conflicted now. [Tadalafil tablets] are, after all, a type of Viagra, and I'm afraid taking too much isn't good. But the doctor said so. Fortunately, one box only has 14 pills, so it's not a big problem, I won't die... Of course, I've always believed that medication is just an auxiliary measure. It's still necessary to replenish kidney qi and exercise to truly become strong. Relying on medicine only treats the symptoms, not the root cause.
I've now set my daily exercise goals, such as jogging for 40 minutes, sit-ups, squats, Baduanjin, and so on... Alas, it's urgent!
I just got married a month ago, and now I feel my wife's gaze on me... exhausted, it's all tears when I talk about it... She said she regretted marrying me o(╥﹏╥)o... For the next half-month, I can only try my best to preserve my energy and take medication, trying every possible way to improve.
My wife said if I'm still not okay after half a month, maybe our relationship should end o(╥﹏╥)o... Noooooooooooooo!!!!
I've been taking medicine for two days now, about 13 days left. I've consistently jogged for 40 minutes for two days, and other exercises are also ongoing. I don't dare to stay up late anymore... I hope I can get it up again in half a month... Otherwise, I really don't know what to do. I don't even know where to find a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor; hospitals are almost all Western medicine, just prescribing you medicine, Viagra and such, which treats the symptoms but not the root cause... For this period, I need to focus my energy on my body's recovery. If this issue isn't resolved, I don't know how long my wife and I can last.
If we really break up because of this... then no matter how much money I earn, it will be in vain... I really won't be able to hold my head up in the village, completely becoming a laughingstock among relatives and friends during their after-dinner chats... Alas, so I'll try my best to recover my body first. Sorry.
Finally, brothers who have made it this far, I humbly beg for a small gift!!!! Please, I'm begging you!
This trip made me realize that money really doesn't last long!
After I got home, I summarized the expenses from the day before yesterday: medical fees, examination fees, transportation, food, etc., all added up to about 1500 yuan for one day. How long will it take to earn that back, and there's no guarantee of the treatment's effectiveness... o(╥﹏╥)o, friends with time, please send some gifts! Free ones are fine, many thanks!
