105: Chapter 105 Han Qingyue comprehends the true meaning

Han Qingyue did not take the hit head-on.

Her footwork was light; she unleashed her Heaven Rank Low Grade movement technique, the Moonlight Shadow Step, to its full extent, her figure becoming like a phantom under the moonlight, barely brushing past Li Tianci's golden fist radiance.

The wind from the fist swept across her cheek, causing a burning pain.

Li Tianci's fist slammed into empty space, blasting a foot-deep crater into the arena floor and sending debris flying everywhere.

Han Qingyue was secretly alarmed.

The power of this punch was even stronger than she had anticipated.

If she had taken it head-on, she would have been severely injured at the very least.

With the Moonlight Shadow Step fully unleashed, silver Protective Aura swirled around her, and her figure flickered left and right, forward and backward, barely weaving through Li Tianci's storm-like attacks.

"Are you only capable of hiding?"

Li Tianci sneered, throwing both fists out simultaneously, two golden fist radiances sealing off the space to Han Qingyue's left and right.

Han Qingyue gritted her teeth, her figure suddenly shooting upward, skimming over the top of the fist radiances.

But Li Tianci had already anticipated her move; his third punch was already primed and ready, slamming directly toward her landing spot.

Han Qingyue had nowhere left to dodge and struck out with her right palm with full force.

The silver-white palm print collided head-on with the golden fist radiance. With a "boom," Han Qingyue was sent flying backward, slamming heavily against the edge of the arena and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Qingyue!" In the spectator stands, the short-haired girl's cry of alarm was piercingly sharp.

Li Xuewei clenched her fists slightly, her palms slick with sweat.

Han Ming stood in the competitor area, his expression calm, but his gaze was locked tightly onto the arena.

"Hehehe, too weak. You think you deserve to be ranked ahead of me? Today, I'll let you taste the feeling of being crippled."

Li Tianci walked toward Han Qingyue step by step, his face full of malice.

The referee instructor fully unleashed his Divine Sense, cold sweat covering his forehead; he did not dare to relax in the slightest, preparing to intervene at any moment.

Han Qingyue wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and stood up.

The silver-white light of the Moonlight Spirit Body swirled around her, brighter than before.

She did not speak, simply assuming a stance.

Li Tianci's expression darkened; he stopped wasting words and punched out.

Han Qingyue was knocked back again, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth once more.

But she did not fall; time and again she was knocked back, and time and again she stood back up.

The silver-white Protective Aura grew brighter and brighter, the Moonlight Spirit Body resonating within her as if something was Awakening.

When she was knocked back for the fifth time, Han Qingyue suddenly closed her eyes.

A gasp erupted from the spectator stands.

"Closing her eyes? What is she doing? Is she planning to concede?"

Li Tianci, however, sensed that something was wrong with her.

The fluctuation frequency of the silver-white Protective Aura had changed; it was no longer purely the power of moonlight, but now contained something colder and sharper.

Han Qingyue opened her eyes.

Silver light condensed in her eyes, concentrating to the extreme until it turned into a freezing cold gleam.

She raised her hand and struck out with a palm.

The silver-white palm print tore through the air, colliding head-on with Li Tianci's golden fist radiance. There was no loud noise, no shockwave.

The golden fist radiance seemed to have been frozen; it stalled in mid-air before shattering.

Li Tianci's pupils constricted sharply; before he could react, the silver-white palm print had already slammed into his chest.

His entire body was sent flying backward, slamming heavily against the edge of the arena and spitting out a mouthful of blood, his golden Protective Aura shattering by more than half.

The entire arena fell into dead silence.

"What was that?" In the stands, a freshman stood up abruptly, face full of disbelief.

"Yin Intent! Han Qingyue has comprehended Yin Intent!" A senior stood up in shock, exclaiming, "Yin and Yang are opposites, and she is one small Realm higher than Li Tianci; it perfectly counters Yang Truth!"

"She actually comprehended True Intent during a battle? This girl's future is limitless."

A watching instructor's eyes revealed a strange look as he praised her.

Han Qingyue stood on the arena, silver-white Protective Aura swirling around her, the light of the Moonlight Spirit Body intertwining with the chill of Yin Intent.

Her face was pale, and blood still hung from the corner of her mouth, but her eyes were brighter than ever before.

Yin Intent, First Level.

Li Tianci struggled to crawl up, his face deathly pale.

He looked at Han Qingyue, his eyes full of disbelief. She had actually broken through during the battle?

"Do you still want to fight?" Han Qingyue's voice was cold and clear.

Li Tianci gritted his teeth, not answering, his expression ugly.

He was crazy, but not stupid. He knew he had already lost; Han Qingyue, having comprehended True Intent, was definitely superior to him in combat power.

Although his True Intent was higher than hers, his Foundation was damaged and could not withstand a high-intensity battle; otherwise, his newly repaired Foundation might shatter again.

Thinking of this, Li Tianci glared resentfully at Han Ming not far away, and gritted his teeth in unwillingness: "I concede!"

After saying this, he walked off the challenge stage without looking back.

"Phew... Han Qingyue wins!"

The referee instructor breathed a deep sigh of relief upon seeing this and announced.

"Whoa, I didn't expect Han Qingyue to actually win. I didn't think much of her at the start."

"Yeah! After all, Li Tianci was an SSS-rank Sun God Body before. Although his Dantian was crippled, his reserves were still there, and two levels of Yang Truth are enough to crush powerhouses of the same Realm."

"Who would have thought Han Qingyue would comprehend True Intent right in the middle of battle? It seems the school's identification badge rankings are quite accurate."

Around the challenge stage, discussions rose and fell.

Han Qingyue walked off the arena, and several of her close friends immediately crowded around her, their faces full of excitement.

"Qingyue, you're too amazing!" The short-haired girl hugged her, her eyes slightly red, "I was worried to death just now!"

"Exactly, that Li Tianci is simply a lunatic. It's a good thing you won." The round-faced girl also crowded over, chattering away.

Han Qingyue smiled, patted the backs of their hands, and turned to walk toward Han Ming.

She took the jade talisman from her bosom and handed it back to him: "Thank you, here it is back."

"Congratulations on comprehending True Intent. I reckon even Wang Peng, who is fourth, is no longer your match now."

Han Ming took the jade talisman and smiled faintly.

Han Qingyue's lips curled slightly upward; just as she was about to speak, her girlfriends behind her had already squeezed up.

The short-haired girl was the first to rush in front of Han Ming, her eyes sparkling: "Han Ming, hello! My name is Lin Xiaoxiao, I'm Qingyue's close friend! I really admire you, can we add each other as friends?"

Han Ming was taken aback. Before he could speak, the round-faced girl also squeezed in: "My name is Zhao Xiaowan, also Qingyue's close friend! Student Han Ming, your performance in the Freshman Competition was so cool! Especially the match where you defeated Nangong Li; I watched it with boiling blood!"

There was also a long-haired girl standing behind, with a shy smile on her face, saying softly: "Student Han Ming, my name is Su Qianqian, I'm also your fan... can I add your contact information?"

Han Qingyue stood to the side, watching the scene of her three girlfriends surrounding Han Ming to ask for his contact information, and couldn't help but cover her forehead.

These girls, who usually claimed they weren't interested in boys, were now one more eager than the next.

Han Ming smiled, took out his identification badge, and added them as friends one by one. These girls all had strong talent; the weakest among them had the strength of a one-star Martial Ancestor.

There was even one whose ranking was higher than Lin Fan'sβ€”it was that short-haired girl, Lin Xiaoxiao, a Four-star Martial Ancestor, ranked tenth on the Freshman List.

The girls were so excited their cheeks flushed red, chattering away as they asked quite a few questions.

Han Ming answered them one by one, his attitude gentle and without any airs of being the number one freshman.

Lin Xiaoxiao couldn't help but whisper to Han Qingyue: "Qingyue, your cousin is so great; he's handsome, strong, and so gentle. When will you introduce him to me?"

Han Qingyue rolled her eyes at her and lowered her voice: "Didn't you just add him as a friend? Go talk to him yourself."

Lin Xiaoxiao chuckled and said no more.

After they chatted for a while longer, Han Qingyue took her three friends and left.

Han Ming watched them walk away and turned to head toward his villa; he had no intention of challenging any Grandmaster List.

It was better to just go back and focus on his Cultivation; the extra tens of thousands of points per month were just pocket change to him.
