64: Chapter 64 Reencounter with Zhao Jinbao

At the entrance of No. 3 High School, Li Xuewei was already waiting there.

She was wearing a light blue dress today, her long hair draped over her shoulders, and her delicate face held a hint of anticipation. Seeing Han Ming walking from afar, her eyes lit up instantly, and she jogged to meet him.

"Han Ming!"

Han Ming stopped, looked at Li Xuewei who had run up to him, and smiled, "Have you been waiting long?"

"No, I just arrived as well." Li Xuewei shook her head quickly, a faint blush on her face, "You said you had something to give me; what is it?"

Han Ming looked around; with people coming and going, it wasn't the place to talk.

"Let's find a quiet place."

The two went to a cafe next to No. 3 High School and found a corner to sit in. There weren't many people in the cafe; under the soft lighting, only a few students were chatting in low voices.

Han Ming took out a hand-copied Secret Manual from his pocket and pushed it in front of Li Xuewei.

Li Xuewei took it, opened the first page, and her pupils suddenly constricted.

"Ten Thousand Dao Scripture?" She looked up at Han Ming, her eyes filled with confusion, "What kind of Cultivation Technique is this?"

"A Cultivation Technique above the Divine Rank." Han Ming said in a low voice.

Li Xuewei's hand trembled, and the Secret Manual almost dropped to the floor. She widened her eyes, her mouth open wide enough to fit an egg, unable to speak for a long time.

"Above... above the Divine Rank?" Her voice was trembling, "But... but my Master said that Divine Rank Cultivation Techniques are already the top tier, and anything above that only exists in legends..."

"Then your Master was wrong." Han Ming interrupted her, "Cultivation Techniques above the Divine Rank do exist; it's just that ordinary people cannot access them!"

"This Ten Thousand Dao Scripture is above the Divine Rank, and after you Cultivate it, you can ignore talent restrictions and absorb energy of various attributes."

Li Xuewei's hand shook even more violently. She looked down at the Secret Manual in her hand, then looked up at Han Ming, her eyes suddenly turning red.

This was a Cultivation Technique above the Divine Rank!

Even her own Master, a Peak Martial Emperor expert, had never heard of it, yet Han Ming was just giving it to her?

"Han Ming, why... why are you so good to me?"

Han Ming was stunned for a moment, then smiled, "Because you are my apprentice."

Li Xuewei bit her lip, a feeling she couldn't describe welling up in her heart.

She knew that Han Ming's kindness to her had long exceeded the scope of an "apprentice."

Yellow Rank High Grade Martial Skill, Profound Rank Low Grade Martial Skill, rank 3 blood vitality pill, rank 4 blood vitality pill, and now a Divine Rank Cultivation Technique... All these things added together were priceless. Even one's own father might not be willing to give them away.

"Han Ming, I..." Li Xuewei wanted to say something but found she didn't know what to say.

"Alright, don't be sentimental." Han Ming waved his hand, "Remember, do not tell anyone about this Cultivation Technique, including your Master, Teacher Xue Muhan. It's not that I don't trust her, but the temptation of a Divine Rank Cultivation Technique is too great; the fewer people who know, the better."

Li Xuewei nodded heavily and carefully put the Secret Manual into her Storage Pouch, "I understand. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

Han Ming nodded and took a sip of his coffee.

Li Xuewei looked at his profile, her heartbeat inexplicably accelerating. She suddenly stood up, walked to Han Ming's side, and before he could react, she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

Han Ming froze completely.

Li Xuewei's face was as red as if it were about to bleed; she turned and ran back to her seat, keeping her head down, not daring to look at him.

Han Ming touched the cheek that had been kissed and the corners of his mouth twitched. This girl, her courage was growing.

"That... keep the Cultivation Technique safe and go back to Cultivate properly." Han Ming coughed, trying to break the awkwardness.

"Mm." Li Xuewei's voice was as small as a mosquito's buzzing.

The two sat for a while longer, then Han Ming got up to pay the bill and took Li Xuewei out of the cafe.

"Are you hungry? Let me treat you to a meal." Han Ming asked.

Li Xuewei looked up, her eyes sparkling, "Okay!"

The two found a nearby restaurant and ordered a few dishes. Li Xuewei didn't eat much, but she was very happy, looking at Han Ming with a smile the whole time.

Han Ming felt a bit uncomfortable being watched by her and lowered his head to shovel rice.

After eating, the two walked out of the restaurant.

The sky had already darkened, the streetlights were on, and people were coming and going; it was very lively.

"I'll take you back." Han Ming said.

Li Xuewei nodded and followed by his side, the two walking side by side on the street.

They hadn't walked far when a familiar voice came from behind.

"Yo, isn't this that meddlesome kid?"

Han Ming stopped and looked back.

Zhao Jinbao was standing not far away, followed by four burly men, each with strong auras, at least at the Martial Master level.

He had a smug smile on his face, his eyes staring viciously at Han Ming.

"It really is a small world." Zhao Jinbao walked up, looking Han Ming up and down, "The debt from last time you hit me, it's time to settle it today."

Li Xuewei's expression changed, and she subconsciously grabbed Han Ming's arm.

Han Ming patted her hand to signal her not to be nervous, then looked at Zhao Jinbao and said indifferently, "How do you want to settle it?"

Zhao Jinbao sneered and turned to look at the four big men behind him, "Brothers, this is the kid who hit me last time. Teach him a lesson for me today, and I'll treat you to drinks!"

The four big men looked at each other but didn't move. The leading big man looked at Han Ming, his brows slightly furrowed.

"You are Han Ming? The one with the SS-Rank Talent who was admitted to Modu Martial Arts University?"

"It's me." Han Ming nodded.

The big man's expression became somewhat ugly. He turned to look at Zhao Jinbao and lowered his voice, "Jinbao, this kid is not to be trifled with. He has Martial Emperor Xue behind him, as well as Modu Martial Arts University; we can't afford to offend him."

"What are you afraid of?" Zhao Jinbao glared at him with dissatisfaction, "My brother is the Vajra of Black Water Gang! Would Martial Emperor Xue really fall out with our Black Water Gang over a student?"

The big man hesitated for a moment but still didn't move.

Zhao Jinbao was anxious, "If you don't do it, I'll tell my brother! Then you'll be in big trouble!"

The four big men's expressions changed. They knew the temper of the Vajra of Black Water Gang; if they offended him, they wouldn't be able to survive in Jiangbei.

"Han Ming, sorry." The leading big man gritted his teeth, "You offended someone you shouldn't have, and we are just following orders."

He waved his hand, and the four big men lunged at Han Ming simultaneously!

Three 3-Star Martial Masters, one 4-Star Martial Master. The four of them coordinated tacitly, attacking simultaneously from four directions, sealing off all of Han Ming's retreat routes.

Li Xuewei's face was pale, and she wanted to help, but Han Ming pushed her behind him.

"Don't move."

Han Ming took a step, unleashing Wind Shadow Step, his figure like a ghost, weaving through the four's attacks.

The first palm struck the chest of a 3-Star Martial Master; the man flew backward, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

The second palm struck the shoulder of another 3-Star Martial Master; the sound of bone cracking was crisp, and the man fell to the ground, screaming.

The third palm met the fist of the 4-Star Martial Master. As the palms collided, the 4-Star Martial Master felt a mountain-toppling, sea-draining force surge into him; his entire arm instantly lost sensation, and he flew backward, hitting the ground heavily.

The fourth palm struck the back of the last 3-Star Martial Master; the man collapsed onto the ground, unable to get up again.

Four big men, four palms, all dealt with.

The entire process took less than five seconds.

The street instantly fell silent.

Everyone widened their eyes, looking at this scene in disbelief.

Zhao Jinbao's expression turned from smug to pale. He stood frozen in place, his legs weak, almost unable to stand.

"Ho... how is this possible?" His voice was trembling, "You... aren't you a 1-Star Martial Master? Ho... how are you this strong?"

Han Ming walked up to him, looking down at him from a height, and said indifferently, "Who told you I was a 1-Star Martial Master?"

Zhao Jinbao opened his mouth but couldn't speak.

Han Ming raised his hand and slapped him across the face.

"Slap!"

Zhao Jinbao was slapped flying, hitting the ground, half of his face swollen high, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

Han Ming didn't kill him, turned around, and took Li Xuewei's hand: "Let's go."

Li Xuewei was pulled by him, her heartbeat so fast it felt like it was about to jump out of her throat. She secretly looked at Han Ming's profile, two red clouds rising on her face.

After the two left, the street finally erupted in chaos.

"My god! How did Han Ming get so strong? Those guys were all Martial Masters from the Black Water Gang!"

"One palm each, four palms to deal with four Martial Masters! This must be at least a 5-Star Martial Master, right?"

"5-Star Martial Master? A 19-year-old 5-Star Martial Master? This is too terrifying!"

"No wonder he could be admitted to Modu Martial Arts University; this strength is too Heaven-Defying!"

Zhao Jinbao climbed up from the ground, covering his swollen face, his eyes full of resentment.

"Han Ming, just you wait! My brother won't let you off!"

Han Ming didn't hear his words, and even if he had, he wouldn't care.

Vajra of Black Water Gang, a 3-Star Great Martial Master. With his current strength, he could kill him with one palm.

After taking Li Xuewei back to the Martial Arts Alliance headquarters, Han Ming turned and went home.

Walking halfway, he stopped and looked in the direction of the Zhang family, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

It was time to send some people on their way.
