206: Chapter 206 Li Shuya: Handsome guy, don't go!
Jin Meiting's hand tightened around her coffee cup. The chill from the white porcelain seeped into her palm, but it couldn't suppress the tremor of shock hidden deep in her eyes.
That face, which usually looked as cold as a thin layer of frost, finally showed a crack.
Jin Meiting said, "Mr. Jiang, you have indeed thoroughly impressed me."
"However, this concerns the choice of my entire career after all." She rested her knuckles on the rim of the cup and tapped it twice, her voice steadying. "I need a little time to consider this seriously."
Jiang Feng raised an eyebrow. There was no look of surprise on his face, nor was there the slightest hint of dissatisfaction.
He leaned back slightly, leaving a faint impression on the chair's back. He exuded an air of casual relaxation, yet carried a pressure that could not be ignored.
"As you should."
"Making such an important choice does indeed require careful consideration."
As he spoke, he reached into the inner pocket of his suit, pulled out a business card, and placed it on the table. With his fingertip, he slid the card gently toward Jin Meiting.
The business card was very simple.
It was matte black cardstock without any flashy designs.
On the front, there were only two gold-embossed characters: Jiang Feng.
Below that was a string of mobile phone numbers.
Other than that, there was nothing else.
No job title, no company name, no address.
It was minimalist to the extreme, and arrogant to the extreme.
Jin Meiting reached out and picked up the card.
Her fingertip brushed over the raised gold texture. After looking at it for a few seconds, she unzipped her handbag and carefully placed it inside, specifically tucking it into an inner compartment.
Jiang Feng stood up, reached out to tug at his shirt collar, and unbuttoned the top button, revealing the line of his collarbone.
His movements were calm and composed, without any hesitation.
"Then we'll leave it at that for today."
"I will wait for Ms. Jin's reply." He glanced at her, the corners of his lips curling slightly. "Regardless of the outcome, I respect Ms. Jin's choice."
Jin Meiting also stood up.
Her well-tailored professional suit perfectly outlined her curvaceous figure; her waist was slender and her legs were straight and long. Her movements carried the decisiveness of a career-driven woman, yet hid a hint of the charm unique to a mature woman.
She extended her hand, her gaze meeting Jiang Feng's directly, her tone filled with genuine sincerity.
"Thank you for taking the time to come here today, Mr. Jiang."
"And thank you for being willing to share such a complete business plan with me."
Jiang Feng raised his hand and briefly shook hers.
Their palms touched for just a moment before pulling apart.
"You're welcome."
"I believe we will have the opportunity to cooperate."
After speaking, he turned to Li Shuya, who had been sitting restlessly to the side, and nodded with a smile.
"Miss Li, goodbye."
Li Shuya shot up suddenly, her chest bouncing with the movement, nearly knocking over the juice cup in front of her.
A sweet smile was plastered on her face as she waved vigorously, her round eyes full of stars.
"Goodbye, goodbye! Take care, Mr. Jiang!"
Her heart was already in an uproar; she desperately wanted to rush forward, grab him, and ask for his WeChat.
Handsome guy, don't go!
What would be the harm in chatting for a few more minutes!
Jiang Feng smiled, said nothing more, and turned to walk toward the coffee shop's entrance.
His pace was leisurely, his back straight. The lines of his broad shoulders and narrow waist were perfectly accentuated by his suit. Every step was steady, without a hint of dawdling.
This matter was being handled with 'hard to get' tactics.
Li Shuya's eyes were glued to his back, and she only looked away reluctantly once his figure had completely disappeared behind the glass doors of the coffee shop.
