24: Chapter 24 The Ultimate Form of Zero-Yuan Shopping! Emptying Los Santos and Starving Millions of People!

Night fell.

Los Santos, having lost power, lay on the West Coast of North America like a dead giant beast.

There were no neon lights, no bustling traffic.

Only piercing sirens and fires igniting everywhere.

Millions of citizens were plunged into extreme panic.

The moment water and electricity were cut, the evil of human nature was completely unleashed.

Street gang members, homeless people, and even ordinary white-collar workers grabbed baseball bats and pistols, rushing toward convenience stores on street corners.

In the USA, a power outage meant a legal "Zero-Dollar Shopping" spree.

In the city center, at the largest Walmart superstore.

Thousands of civilians and gang members gathered here.

They smashed the glass doors and frantically hauled out crates of bottled water, bread, and toilet paper.

To compete for a can of beef, two Black men even drew their guns and shot at each other, leaving blood all over the ground.

The chaos reached its peak.

Just then.

"Rumble—"

The roar of heavy engines tore through the night sky.

The ground trembled. Two M2 infantry fighting vehicles crushed a fire hydrant on the roadside, rammed through several cars blocking the intersection, and positioned themselves across the plaza in front of the superstore.

Immediately after, over a hundred heavy-duty trucks poured in from both ends of the street, surrounding the entire superstore completely.

The truck tailgates dropped.

Three thousand fully armed special mercenaries, holding HK416 assault rifles, jumped off the trucks.

They were expressionless, their movements uniform.

The dark muzzles of their guns were aimed directly at the looting crowd.

"Fuck! It's the military! Run!"

The gang members, blinded by greed, saw the armored vehicles, dropped their loot in fear, and turned to run.

But the mercenaries had no habit of firing warning shots.

Chu Feng's order was: if any civilians dared to loot supplies, shoot them on sight.

"Rat-tat-tat-tat—!"

Dense gunfire erupted suddenly.

Three thousand assault rifles fired simultaneously.

A crossfire net instantly covered the entire entrance and exit of the superstore.

The hundreds of people running in front fell like cut wheat, all collapsing into pools of blood.

Their bodies were torn apart by large-caliber bullets, limbs and body parts splattering everywhere.

Screams and wails echoed through the night sky.

A massacre. A merciless, one-sided massacre.

The mercenaries stepped over the corpses and blood covering the floor and strode into the Walmart.

They didn't even look at the survivors shivering behind the shelves, directly smashing open the warehouse doors with their gun butts.

Crates of drinking water, tons of flour, high-quality beef from the cold storage, and even the chocolate and anti-inflammatory drugs on the shelves were all frantically thrown into the heavy trucks outside by the mercenaries, as if they were moving house.

This was true "Zero-Dollar Shopping."

A military-grade plunder that was systematic, organized, and armed to the teeth.

...

The same scene played out in every corner of Los Santos.

An army of one hundred thousand was deployed.

They took over nine large grain warehouses, three medical distribution centers, and over a hundred large chain supermarkets in Los Santos.

Any living thing that dared to approach within fifty meters of the perimeter, whether it was a gang leader or a woman with a child, was met only with cold bullets.

Overnight, eighty percent of the survival supplies in all of Los Santos were emptied by Chu Feng's army.

All supplies were continuously transported via heavy trucks into the Global Financial Center.

The building's underground parking lot and the commercial area from the first to the tenth floors had been completely converted into a massive supply warehouse.

Hundreds upon hundreds of tons of bread, bottled water, and medical supplies were piled up like mountains, reaching almost to the ceiling.

On the top floor, in the CEO's office.

Chu Feng stood before the floor-to-ceiling window.

The entire Los Santos was in darkness, with only sporadic fires.

The city beneath his feet was sinking into despair.

"Master, your wine."

Evelyn held a goblet in both hands, kneeling at Chu Feng's feet.

She had changed into a black lace camisole nightdress.

The thin shoulder straps seemed unable to bear the astonishing weight on her chest, with the deep snowy whiteness half-exposed to the air.

Her long, straight, beautiful legs were bare, white and smooth as mutton-fat jade, kept tightly together.

Chu Feng took the wine glass.

Evelyn took the opportunity to press her face against Chu Feng's calf.

There was a hint of undisguised fear in her sea-blue eyes.

"Master, did they really empty the entire city's supplies?"

Her voice trembled.

As the president of the consortium, she knew all too well what this meant.

The resident population of Los Santos was nearly ten million.

No water, no food.

In three days at most, this city would turn into a true hell on earth.

Those starving, crazed civilians would eat anything edible.

"Emptied."

Chu Feng took a sip of red wine, his deep gaze watching the dark city.

"The politicians in Washington wanted to cut off water and electricity to starve me out. So I took everything edible in this city."

"The consumption of my two hundred thousand troops is high. These supplies are enough for us to eat until next year."

Chu Feng reached out and pinched Evelyn's delicate chin, forcing her to look out the window.

"Do you know what will happen next?"

Evelyn shook her head, trembling.

"Three days from now, there won't be a single live rat in the sewers of Los Santos."

"For a bottle of mineral water, a usually refined white-collar worker from Wall Street will stab his neighbor to death with a knife. Gangs will fight in the streets over half a piece of bread."

Chu Feng's tone was chillingly calm.

"The USA government wanted to use civilians to exhaust my ammunition. I'll just let these civilians exhaust each other."

"Once they are mostly dead, the blockade line of The Pentagon will collapse on its own."

"Because by then, the whole world will see how the USA government watched its own millions of citizens starve to death."

Evelyn gasped, her whole body turning cold.

Ruthless!

Too ruthless!

This man's methods were ten thousand times more cruel than the most cold-blooded capitalist!

He was not only going to crush the USA physically, but also completely destroy this country mentally.

She was glad she had chosen to submit immediately.

Otherwise, she might now be one of the thousands of stray dogs in the darkness downstairs, selling her body for a sip of water.

"Master..."

Evelyn's eyes reddened, and she hugged Chu Feng's thigh tightly with both hands.

She puffed out her chest, letting those defenseless, full curves press tightly against the man's knees, rubbing against them.

"Evelyn will always be your most loyal servant. No matter what you do, I am willing to serve you..."

She completely abandoned her last shred of dignity.

In this apocalyptic despair, this man's thigh was the only lifeline she could grasp.

Chu Feng put down the wine glass.

Outside the window was a metropolis of ten million people plunged into boundless darkness and slaughter.

Inside the window was a high and mighty female conglomerate president.

This stark contrast made the violent factors in Chu Feng's body boil completely.

"Rip."

On the other side of the control hall.

The special mercenaries responsible for SkyNet monitoring remained expressionless, staring at the screens covering the wall.

On the holographic map.

The National Guard on the perimeter had not advanced a single step.

But in the dark downtown area, the red heat sources representing riots and gang fights were spreading with plague-like speed!

Los Santos was in total chaos!
