42: Chapter 42 The All-Seeing Eye! Suppressing a Riot of Ten Thousand!
The morning sunlight streamed through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, casting its glow upon the two-hundred-square-meter custom-made bed in the presidential suite.
Chu Feng opened his eyes and sat up.
His body was filled with explosive power.
Not only was there no trace of fatigue, but he felt refreshed and invigorated.
Sensing the man had risen, Jessica forced herself to open her eyes.
Ignoring the soreness in her body, she stepped barefoot onto the thick carpet, fetched a black silk robe, and gently draped it over Chu Feng.
"Master, you are awake." Jessica's voice was hoarse, her eyes filled with a desperate desire to please.
Chu Feng walked over to the sofa and sat down.
"Master, the foundation for the blast-proof wall has advanced ten kilometers. During last night's shift, three hundred and sixty slaves were worked to death." Anna lowered her head, her voice very soft.
Chu Feng looked at the screen.
It displayed the No. 4 construction site in the south of the city.
Tens of thousands of civilians were moving heavy stones and steel bars under the scorching sun.
Everyone was skin and bones, their clothes tattered and torn.
Chu Feng picked up his water glass and took a sip.
Suddenly, a commotion erupted on the construction site on the screen.
Dozens of former Wall Street executives and gang leaders, who once wielded immense power, gathered together, holding rusty iron bars and bricks in their hands.
A man wearing gold-rimmed glasses stepped out and shouted to the starving civilians around him: "We have ten thousand people! They only have a few dozen guards! Charge over, seize the guns! Seize the water! Everyone, charge out together!"
When people are on the verge of starvation, it is easy for them to turn into irrational beasts.
The ten thousand hungry laborers were blinded by rage.
They let out beast-like roars and, like a crazed horde of zombies, charged toward the distant Mech Bandits.
The overwhelming sea of people looked terrifying.
In the suite, Anna's face turned pale with fear, her hands trembling as she typed on the keyboard.
Chu Feng didn't even blink.
"Issue an order to the guards at the No. 4 site." Chu Feng said in a flat tone. "Kill them all. Use the corpses as fertilizer for the foundation."
"Yes, Master!" Anna immediately typed on the keyboard to relay the order.
On the screen, facing the surging crowd, the dozens of Mech Bandits did not retreat a single step.
They directly mounted their six-barreled Gatling guns.
The barrels spun at high speed.
Deafening gunfire erupted, and tongues of fire spat out.
The hundreds of people charging at the very front were instantly turned into clouds of blood mist.
Severed limbs flew through the air.
Large-caliber bullets easily shredded human bodies, harvesting lives like cutting wheat.
In less than two minutes, more than half of the ten thousand rioting people had fallen.
The remaining people were completely terrified.
They threw away the stones in their hands, knelt in the blood, and frantically kowtowed to beg for mercy, their wails echoing across the construction site.
There was no mercy.
The bandits loaded new ammunition belts and continued to fire indiscriminately.
Ten minutes later, there wasn't a single living person left standing at the No. 4 site.
The ground was covered with shredded flesh and internal organs, and fresh blood had stained the soil of the foundation a dark red.
Chu Feng looked at the site stained red with blood and stroked Alice's golden hair.
Since he wanted to build an invincible war fortress, there could absolutely be no unstable factors.
In Los Santos, with its millions of people, the one thing not lacking was two-legged slaves.
Disobedient consumables could simply be destroyed.
"Master." The communicator on the table rang.
The Bandit Commander's voice came through: "Boss, the riot at the No. 4 site has been quelled. But while we were using excavators to clear the bodies and dig the foundation deeper, we dug up something."
"Speak." Chu Feng pulled out a cigar.
Evelyn, who was nearby, hurriedly picked up a lighter and stepped forward to light it for him.
"Fifty meters underground, there is a metal dome that current armor-piercing shells cannot penetrate. After digging away the surface soil, a huge eye symbol was engraved on the metal surface."
The Bandit Commander reported: "Below it seems to be a very large underground space. Radar cannot detect the internal structure."
An eye symbol.
The All-Seeing Eye.
Chu Feng exhaled a mouthful of thick smoke, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.
That was the symbol of the Freemasons.
The Shadow Cabinet of Washington, the mysterious organization legend said had controlled global wealth for hundreds of years.
Who could have imagined that the lair and vault of these puppet masters behind the scenes would be hidden fifty meters beneath Los Santos?
If he could crack open this metal shell, the wealth inside would definitely be an unimaginable, astronomical figure.
Chu Feng stood up and threw away his cigar.
"Prepare the car. We're going to the No. 4 site." Chu Feng looked at Anna. "Bring your decryption equipment."
