79: Chapter 79: Mining for All! The First Interstellar Fleet!

Early morning. Global Financial Center, top-floor presidential suite.

Sunlight pierced through the floor-to-ceiling windows, spilling onto the soft Persian rug.

Around the room, ten Twelve-Winged Seraphim bio-weapons stood silently.

They kept their pure silver eyes closed, having entered a low-power standby mode.

Their stunningly beautiful faces remained expressionless, and their snow-white wings emitted a faint fluorescent glow.

They did not need sleep; they were absolutely perfect killing machines and guards.

Chu Feng opened his eyes and sat up.

His body had been modified by the God Gene serum. He only needed to rest for two hours every day to restore all his energy.

Chu Feng took a sip of water and strode towards the living room.

Anna had long been waiting at the holographic workstation in the living room.

She was wearing a form-fitting black professional skirt, her long, slender legs wrapped in brand-new black silk stockings.

Her hair was tied up at the back of her head, making her look very capable.

This former tech empress had now fully adapted to her role as the global chief administrator.

Seeing Chu Feng walk over, Anna immediately stopped typing, knelt on the rug with both knees, and puffed out her proud chest.

"Master, good morning."

Anna's voice was sweet, and her eyes revealed absolute obedience.

Chu Feng walked over to the leather sofa and sat down.

"Report on the global resource integration situation." Chu Feng's tone was indifferent.

Anna hurriedly climbed up from the floor and stood back at the workstation.

Her slender fingers slid rapidly across the virtual keyboard.

A holographic projection of a rotating blue Earth immediately appeared in the center of the hall.

"Replying to Master. The global integration work has been completely finished."

Anna pointed at the dense, flickering light points on the projection: "The remaining armies of the European Union and the Russian Empire have all been disarmed."

"The fifty thousand main battle tanks, thirty thousand fighter jets, and all naval vessels currently existing globally are being sent in batches to large steel mills."

"These modern conventional weapons have no use in interstellar warfare. The mother nest ai has deemed them scrap metal and is currently melting them all down into basic steel."

Chu Feng nodded. Facing an alien fleet, Earth's artillery and missiles were not even worth a scratch; melting them all down into materials to build star destroyers was the most correct choice.

"What about human resource allocation?" Chu Feng lit a cigar.

"Among the surviving population globally, excluding the old, weak, sick, and disabled, there is a total of three billion available laborers."

When Anna reported this, there was a trace of trembling in her voice.

"According to your instructions, these three billion people have all been broken up and reorganized."

"All national and ethnic boundaries for everyone have been abolished. They have been uniformly incorporated into the 'Los Santos Global Mining Group'."

"Tens of thousands of large iron, copper, titanium, and rare earth mining areas globally have all been forced into operation."

"Three billion civilians work sixteen hours a day, implementing a two-shift militarized management system."

"They are supervised by one hundred thousand Hunter Drones and local cloned garrisons."

Anna swallowed hard. Three billion people mining together. This was a terrifying feat never before seen in human history, one that people wouldn't even dare to imagine!

Under Chu Feng's will, the entire Earth had turned into a massive slave mine.

Everyone served only one purpose: to provide massive amounts of raw materials to the Interstellar Shipyard in low Earth orbit!

"Well done." Chu Feng nodded.

He stood up and walked to the huge floor-to-ceiling window.

At this moment, the sky above Los Santos presented an extremely shocking sci-fi scene.

At the edge of the horizon, a silver band shimmering with metallic luster spanned the entire firmament. This was the star ring defense array wrapping around Earth's equator.

Below the star ring. At Los Santos International Airport and various military airfields, tens of thousands of heavy transport planes were lining up to take off.

The bellies of these transport planes were filled with crudely refined metal ingots dug out from mining areas all over the world.

The transport planes rushed into the clouds like a dense swarm of bees, flying towards the Interstellar Shipyard hovering in low Earth orbit.

Plane after plane poured massive amounts of steel and titanium alloy into the huge intake ports of the shipyard.

"Three hundred thousand troops cannot keep watch over three billion people." Chu Feng looked at the busy fleet of transport planes in the sky.

"Have the underground arsenals accelerate the production speed of clones. I want the clone army expanded to five million within two months."

"Yes, Master. The cloning matrix is already running at full capacity."

Chu Feng turned around and returned to the sofa.

Earth's resources were available, manpower was available, and defense was available. Now, it was time to build ships.

Chu Feng closed his eyes, his consciousness connecting directly to the [Planetary-class Interstellar Shipyard] in low Earth orbit.

The shipyard's control panel instantly appeared in his mind.

This was an automated space military factory so huge it was unimaginable.

There were no human workers inside; it was entirely composed of robotic arms and nano-reconstructors controlled by the system's mother nest ai.

As long as there were enough materials, it could churn out star destroyers endlessly.

Chu Feng opened the star destroyer production blueprint list. Currently, only three types of basic star destroyers could be produced in the list.

[1. Ghost-class Space Assault Fighter] [Length: 25 meters. Crew: 1 person (or AI autopilot).] [Weapons: Twin-linked plasma cannons.] [Features: Extremely fast, high maneuverability, suitable for dogfights and swarm strikes within the atmosphere and in low Earth orbit.] [Unit cost (material conversion): 500 tons of special steel, 50 tons of titanium alloy, 1 ton of gold (for the conductive core).]

[2. Aegis-class Star Frigate] [Length: 800 meters. Crew: 500 people.] [Weapons: Four medium plasma main cannons, one hundred close-in defense laser arrays, micro-missile silos.] [Features: Equipped with small anti-gravity engines and area energy shields, it is the basic escort force for the interstellar fleet.] [Unit cost (material conversion): 100,000 tons of special steel, 20,000 tons of titanium alloy, 50 tons of gold, 10 tons of rare earth.]

[3. Black Hole-class Heavy Star Destroyer] [Length: 5000 meters (5 kilometers). Crew: 10,000 people.] [Weapons: One bow-mounted 'World-Ender' class heavy main cannon, one hundred plasma secondary cannons, can carry one hundred thousand space assault fighters.] [Features: A true deep-space behemoth, capable of destroying a planetary surface alone. Comes with an ultra-large nuclear fusion reactor.] [Unit cost (material conversion): 10 million tons of special steel, 2 million tons of titanium alloy, 500 tons of gold, 100 tons of element zero.]

Chu Feng looked at these three blueprints. The Black Hole-class Heavy Star Destroyer was, of course, the strongest.

Its volume was a size larger than his current leviathan-class aerospace carrier. Its firepower increased geometrically. But the cost was too terrifying.

Ten million tons of special steel; with Earth's existing stock plus the daily output from mining, it wouldn't be easy to gather.

The most critical part was that it required one hundred tons of element zero.

The element zero absorbed previously in the Alps had all been exchanged for system Wealth Points. Right now, he didn't have any extra element zero ore on hand.

To build a star destroyer, he had to go to the secret laboratory under Hollywood to mine it first.

You have to eat one bite at a time. Before mining new element zero, he would first use the existing conventional metals on Earth to set up the framework of the basic fleet.

"mother nest ai." Chu Feng issued the command. "Connect to the Interstellar Shipyard production line."

"First batch production plan: Build one thousand 'Ghost-class Space Assault Fighters'. Set them all to AI autopilot mode."

"Build ten 'Aegis-class Star Frigates'. They will serve as the main backbone of the First Fleet."

The command was transmitted to outer space instantly.

"Command received. Raw material inventory checked and verified, meeting production requirements."

The mother nest ai's voice rang out in his mind, "Shipyard assembly line started. It is expected that seven days from now, the first batch of the fleet will be completed and delivered."

Seven days. One thousand space fighters, ten eight-hundred-meter-long star destroyers.

If this speed were on the Earth of the past, it would simply be a fantasy.

But supported by system technology and the crazy mining efforts of three billion people globally, it had become reality.

Chu Feng opened his eyes, very satisfied. When the alien fleet arrived at Earth in three months, he would let them see what a true torrent of steel was!

"Master." A pair of fair, tender arms wrapped around Chu Feng's neck from behind. Helena didn't know when she had woken up.

She pressed her cheek against Chu Feng's ear, her breath sweet like an orchid: "Master, breakfast is ready. Will you eat in the living room, or shall Helena feed you?"

Chu Feng turned his head, looking at Helena's exquisite and charming face.

"Go change your clothes." Chu Feng patted her firm thigh, "After breakfast, come out with me."

Helena was stunned for a moment, then a trace of wild joy flashed in her beautiful eyes.

Being able to be taken out by Chu Feng was definitely a symbol of status and position. This indicated that her place in Chu Feng's heart had already surpassed the other women in the room.

"Yes! Master!" Helena hurriedly ran into the walk-in closet.

Ten-plus minutes later. Helena had changed into a black special operations uniform.

Chu Feng put on a black trench coat and strode towards the exclusive elevator.

"Lead the way, to the Hollywood underground laboratory." Chu Feng ordered into the communicator.

The army had surrounded the Hollywood mountains for a whole day, and the Mech Cops inside had been cleared out.

Now, it was time to go see that military laboratory hiding a large amount of raw element zero ore.

To build an invincible Black Hole-class Heavy Star Destroyer, element zero was indispensable.

The elevator went straight to the underground garage. A heavy blast-proof off-road vehicle had been waiting for a long time.

Ten Twelve-Winged Seraphim followed closely behind Chu Feng.

As soon as these stunningly beautiful bio-weapons appeared, the fierce bandits guarding the garage didn't even dare to breathe loudly.

Chu Feng sat in the back seat of the off-road vehicle. Helena knelt obediently beside him.

The convoy drove out of the Global Financial Center and sped off in the direction of the Hollywood mountains.
