Chapter 66: Raixoo!

Chapter 66 - Raixoo!After the illusion of speed that Lee had while running long distances for the past two days, he suddenly felt heavy, dressed in the scourge armor.

It was made of some kind of metal plates, and at first seemed clunky and uncomfortable, but the more Lee moved around, the more he realized that the armor's weight made him feel gravity like he normally did.

Either the boy scouts here were going by the same training system Prides used, when torturing his subordinates, or this kind of armor was the norm, Lee didn't care. Normally he would give a praise for the increase in training's difficulty, but currently his opponents were more accustomed to the fight conditions compared to him.

And then the cyclops guy came over and distributed short spears to the four young fighters.

Lee glanced at Butalax in surprise, but the latter answered with happy nods. For some reason the clueless bastard though that smacking few girls with a rod was of equal combat difficulty to fighting trained opponents with spears, and expected Lee to perform as well as he did back at the blob farm.

"Sigh ... idiot ..." Lee murmured, and followed the trio's suit, and put on the helmet. He had no clue how anyone could fight in these things, but wearing a helmet against armed opponent seemed kind of reasonable.

"Raixoo!" The cyclops commanded, and the shout resonated around the place.

"Raixoo!" Lee shouted like the opposing trio did, and tried to figure out a way how he could choose his first opponent.

It was bad enough that they had to fight in armor, the spears made the whole situation completely unfair. He took a short step forward, intending to position himself across the potato-head, but all three opponents raised their spears as if preparing to attack him.

Lee took a long step back, took off the helmet, and did his best to look at cyclops with questions written all over his face, but the tall guy only grinned, and motioned to continue, saying, "Raixoo!"

This was not Lee's first time going against multiple opponents.

In his second life, after he and Lisa were killed in Costa Rica, at the age of twelve he tried to join Wo Shing Wo, the triad the fat Russian was protected by. There was the so called initiation ceremony he had to take a part of.

Tens of young kids around his age, armed with wooden sticks, clashed in a huge skirmish, madly beating the shit out of each other. The promise was that they would get the starting positions in the triad according to their performance, and in order to speed up his revenge plans, Lee went all out.

He was the one left standing in the end, with a heavy concussion, broken left arm and bloodied all over, but it was all for naught. The event turned out to be a scam organized by a couple of guys who filmed everything and afterwards tried to sell the product on the internet.

Their business turned out to be short lived, though. The real Wo Shing Wo got the wind of someone impersonating them, and the two entrepreneurs found themselves at the bottom of the Hong Kong harbor.

For Lee there was a silver lining in the end. After he was released from the hospital, a couple of guys threw an invite his way, and in the end it did lead him to Smirnoff. Although, it took four more years.

Now the situation was a completely different.

All three of his opponents, despite being young, were well trained and were about to focus their attacks on him. Lee had no clue about their attack or defense style, but judging from what he saw during the scourge invasion in Sunwell, most likely they would directly charge at him. A slight theoretical upside was that all three seemed to be from different squads so they shouldn't have too much of a synergy.

'Fortunately they are not superhumans yet ... I hope ...' Lee thought to himself, 'At least it won't get worse.'

But the next moment he wanted to smack himself.

The three guys, without any command made a neat formation with the scale covered one in front and the other two at his sides, half a step behind. All three slightly bent their knees and pointed the spears at Lee's chest, apparently getting ready to charge at him.

"Motherfuckers!" Lee loudly cursed, and immediately changed the strategy.

Taking the three head on was an impossible task. It was clear they could run over a grownup fighter, much less him, thus the only option was to be on the move, constantly trying to flank them and attack only if there was an opportunity.

"Risa conaride mussada futa!" Cyclops commanded, and the three looked back at him.

Lee would've loved to see their expressions, but at least their actions showed the guys were confused about something.



"Mussada futa!" Cyclops repeated the command, and added, "Raixoo!"

The last part immediately invigorated both the spectators and the three fighters who immediately surrounded Lee.

'Okay, so you want to replicate my initial fight?' Lee thought to himself.

While he couldn't remember how exactly he dealt with the fang-girls, he was positive he couldn't replicate the event even if he wanted to.

But even if the current situation might seem more complicated than the earlier intention of three guys to attack him from the front, Lee could easily tell they weren't as confident as before. Apparently attacking in formation was their main strength, and now, being on their own, they had to think of some tactics even if all were well trained.

'Damn it, Butalax! I thought we were friends!' Lee cursed to himself.

This was no boy scout camp! This was the army! This was the place where the scourge army was preparing the next generation of the vanguard!

Lee vividly remembered how the first charge of the scourge invasion looked like, and the earlier feeling the three gave closely resembled it. Although it was vague and he might've been mistaken, Lee was positive he landed in the paws of a bear while escaping the wolf.

But getting away from this place was a tomorrow's problem. Now he had to deal with three opponents.

As expected, all three poked Lee almost at the same time, but compared to the kids at the blob farm they were incomparable faster. Lee barely managed to roll away, and while two spears missed, one glazed his back, although only leaving a thin mark on the breastplate.

But the armor was good.

After the initial warm-up Lee felt more confident and repeated the evasive rolls, dodging pokes and slashes, but at the same time causing spectators to loudly laugh at him. The current fight wasn't something they had seen before and more resembled three armed guys trying to smack a rat or a hamster to death.

Only two people weren't laughing.

Butalax was upset at the kids, but couldn't do anything since this wasn't his farm. The cyclops, on the other hand, was dead serious and watched the proceedings with interest. If for a regular onlooker Lee's actions seemed chaotic, he already guessed what the kid was intending to do.

And Lee didn't disappoint the man.



For a few moments he continued to amuse everyone, but with the last roll changed the direction and nimbly repositioned himself right behind the potato-head guy. Technically this was a kill – Lee could stab the spear under the helmet and afterwards would be left with only two opponents.

But even though these guys were training to become the next scourge army, they were kids thus he made a split-moment decision and only kicked the opponent.

The reaction wasn't what he expected though. While the guy flew the couple of yards and heavily landed on the ground, exactly according to the laws of physics, he hugged the right armpit where Lee's foot landed and began to roll around while whimpering.

The other two opponents also froze for a moment, and after throwing a glance at the suddenly dead-silent crowd, Lee guessed the cause for the shock.

Seeing where the kick landed, most of the guys had the natural reaction and covered the front between their legs while sucking in the air. There could only be one reason for it, and understanding even Lee had to take a deep breath to calm down.

How he could've known that the potato-head had his testicles in the armpits? Up until a couple days ago he had no clue so many races existed in the first place!

The sound of Lee stabbing the spear in the ground woke everyone up from stupor.

He ignored the two opponents, and went over to the guy on the ground and said, "Sorry man!"

No one recognized the language he spoke, but by the tone everyone present guessed the meaning. And the unfortunate victim as well.

He grabbed Lee's stretched out hand and pulled himself back to his feet, although it was obvious the guy was in agony. He was slightly swaying even while supporting himself with the spear, but after the cyclops said a few words to him, the potato-head slumped on the ground next to the spectators.

"Raixoo!" Cyclops shouted and the crowd repeated the shout after him.

Now Lee was left with two opponents.
