Chapter 190 190: Lily Is A Noble Star.

Leo was sitting with the researchers in the monitoring station and they were observing the data. The lead scientist and the aviation directors were shocked, one of them said, "The flight data is so stable that we can take a flight right now."

Leo looked at the speaker and asked, "Can we?"

The people were surprised and the young man said, "The tests that we have been conducting these days, they all seem to be fine and the data is consistent, not even one percent of decline. Right?"

The people nodded, and Leo asked, "Why can't we then take a flight and experience zero gravity? Imagine the boost we will get from this, and not only the commercial win, but also the advancement in the space exploration missions. Utopia Research Center would gain a foothold that none of the other agencies have."

His words enticed the sparks of curiosity inside the hearts of the people. However, the expert said, "Sir, although it sounds nice, but we would need to prepare the travelers to face the G-force which will impact them as they travel with a high thrust."

Leo nodded and said, "Then take a week, and get ready with the pressurized suits. We will select physically fit and sound people to experience the flight and to gain the confidence of the people. I would like to travel in the first flight. The aircraft can be checked by you all over the period of seven days, and that's something you know better than me."

Lily was listening to the comments being passed from all the people, and after a couple of hours when the meeting came to an end, Lily asked, "Umm, can children also take part in this experience?"

The people were surprised, and Leo smiled, he said, "If you manage to pass a few tests then I don't think their should be a problem."

This surprised the experts even more, and they gazed at the person who mentioned the G-force earlier, and the latter said, "It is not a big deal for children to fly on super sonic speeds. When the Condor Helix used to fly between the Stag Channel and Finesse Nation, it was supersonic aircraft and many people had taken flight in it, including children. If young miss wants to go ahead, then all she needs to go through is some tests."

Lily replied, "I agree, I will take the tests, Sir. Do I need to learn something in specific?"

The man smiled looking at her eager like a rabbit expression and he said, "I will tell you..."

After the first flight successfully landed, Leo and Lily decided to go back to the Angkor City because his Sigil Felicitation Ceremony was going to be held tomorrow morning. They boarded the private plane and came back, Lily spend the time sleeping in his arms. She was happy that she got to see the 'space plane' from that close and also the launch button pressing became a highlight of her life.

On the way back, Leo received a message from the manager of the Wagoner Group, and he stated that the Managing Director wants to host a meeting. Leo understood that this man was probably thinking about how Leo was infringing on his authority. The young man replied, "We can have the meeting next week."

That was all, he came back home and placed Lily inside her bed. Snow seemed to be sleeping as well, but when he crawled inside the bed, the young lady sensed him and woke up with a daze. Leo hugged her and they went back to sleep. He spent one hour of the virtual realm training for all and every contingency on the plane. When his session finished, the system said, 'Ping: Host, you don't have to think or worry so much, the data was provided by the system, their is not possibility that could disrupt the aircraft.'

Leo asked, 'What if a lightning hit us?'

The system replied, 'Ping: Host, the plane is prepared with all those possibilities in consideration. Please, show some trust on the system.'

Leo sighed and decided to go to bed. In the morning, Leo dressed up in a simple tuxedo, as per the protocol explained to him, and Lily was dressed in a similar black skirt dress. She looked like she was made up of porcelain and her honey blonde hair and eyes added that surreal charm to her personality.

Today she was acting like when Leo had interacted with her for the first time, sophisticated and calm. He smiled looking at her and said, "It seems to me that our daughter inherited her noble temperament from you, my love."

The young lady smiled and said, "I accept the compliment without any shame darling."

Leo pecked her lips gently and then they headed to the office of the President. The president of the Clover Nation held twelve such ceremonies in an year, and he would hold them in twelve different cities. This way, he could stay connected to the people and also gain some conjecture of what the people want.

Clover Nation was a democratic nation but the power of the president was really significant and they were also the most scrutinized personalities in the nation. Leo and Lily were driven by Kyle, and Zeenat. The lead of the motorcade was managed by Jock, and the rear was brought up by the third most competent person in Leo's personal detail, Detre. He was the silent shadow kinda person but his observation skills were even better than the two heads.

Soon, they reached the president's office, parked the cars, the guards had to stay outside the premise, and in the parking lot. They were allowed to keep their weapons but they were not allowed to leave the parking lot, until Leo has pinged them from the desk at the banquet hall.

They had no resistance to these protocols. Leo and Lily came to the main hall, and they were led by one of the ceremony secretaries. The person was called, Jinny Almeida. She smiled looking at Lily and crouched down to her eye level as she said softly, "Well, little one, you are looking very cute today."

Lily smiled faintly and replied in a measured tone, "Thank you, Madam Almeida. You are looking good as well."

Jinny was surprised to hear such a tone from the little girl, because her aura appeared to be more noble than anyone else. Leo understood that it was the boost from the Dream World where Lily was a princess and dealt with high level ladies and followed protocols.

The two of them walked behind Jinny calmly, and Lily held Leo's hand. It was not only Jinny, but many people noticed that the little girl appeared to be very calm even when she looked at the lavish decorations and the art work. Some of the people who came here today, despite being army veterans were very appreciative towards the world of art.

Leo smiled faintly as he noticed all this, but he didn't say anything. Soon, the ceremony began, and everyone stood up as the President arrived with the governor of the Angkor City. The national anthem was played and then followed by a small speech on how to aspire to be great, the ceremony began.

A presenter read the names from the list, and the achievements and the merit was listed loudly before the president presented them with a medal or a title. After twenty minutes, the presenter said, "Leo Cardinal, for the immense act of donation and philanthropy during the last few months, is awarded with a white Sigil of Gratitude."

The young man calmly stood up, and looked at Lily, who also stood up and nodded to him before he left the last row to move toward the stage. Lily didn't follow him because that was not the protocol. Leo smiled to the President, who smiled back, and exchanged a handshake before the scroll of authorization and a jade seal was given to Leo. Who bowed before taking half a step back and turned around to head back to his seat.

Following the distribution, all the guests were asked to step over to the banquet hall. Many army veterans came over to congratulate Leo, who thanked them and asked them for guidance. The female officers liked Lily, and they engaged with her, and were surprised to find out how deep this little one thought about various issues. They had no idea how Leo raised or was raising this kid.

The presenter suddenly came to the center of the room and clinked his glass of champagne with a butter knife as he said, "Today, we gather here to celebrate talent and skill displayed by the fellow brothers and sisters. So, how about we have someone come forward and dedicate something to the rest of the people who are serving the nation to the best of their abilities? It could be anything, a speech, a poem, anything."

The people began to murmur, and when the elders were thinking if they could speak, a very soft but clear voice echoed, "Can I play the piano for everyone, Sir?"

Everyone looked at Lily and Leo smiled as he mumbled, 'Looks like the veterans are about to doubt their achievements.'

The presenter was shocked, but then he smiled and said, "Yes, Young Miss Cardinal. The stage is all yours."

He gestured towards a standing piano on the side, and Lily looked at Leo, who smiled and held her hand as he walked her to the side and helped her set the stool to her height and Lily pointed at the pedals, when Leo said, "How about I press the pedals for you?"

Lily beamed and raised her hands high to begin.
