199: Chapter 199 Killing Machine, Feast of Severed Limbs

"Are your attacks just some kind of massage for me?"

These words were like a basin of ice water fetched from the depths of the Nine Sereneries, poured over the heads of the remaining dozen or so Li family death soldiers.

The ferocity and numbness in their eyes were completely replaced at this moment by an emotion called 'absurdity'.

Blades could not cut him, and force could not pierce him.

This completely irrational defense utterly destroyed the last bit of perception they had as killing machines.

"Roar! Don't just fucking stand there! He must be using some secret technique with massive limitations; he won't last long!"

A hoarse roar erupted from the mouth of a vice-captain who had lost an arm.

His eyes were bloodshot, looking like a mad demon as he raised a short blade with his only remaining left hand and pointed it at Lin Qi.

"We can't run today! The word 'deserter' doesn't exist in the Li family's dictionary! Fight him! Use your lives to pile on! Pile him to death!"

This desperate howl became the final straw that broke the camel's back.

The surviving death soldiers' bodies shook; that bone-deep slave training allowed them to suppress their rational fear.

The instinct for survival was replaced by the madness of 'mutual destruction'.

"Kill!"

"Fight him to the end!"

They no longer sought any formation or cooperation, nor did they use those useless weapons. Instead, like a pack of beasts driven into a corner, they launched a final charge at Lin Qi bare-handed, using their bodies, teeth, and every available part.

They wanted to drown this incomprehensible monster with their own flesh and blood.

Looking at those faces distorted by madness, a flash of impatience flickered in Lin Qi's eyes.

He originally wanted to enjoy the pleasure of Body Tempering brought by the tenfold gravity a bit longer, but these flies were simply too noisy.

"Courting death."

He softly spat out those two words.

The moment the first death soldier pounced before him, Lin Qi finally moved.

He was no longer simply standing and parrying, but had transformed into the most efficient and precise killing machine.

The most burly death soldier lunged head-on, arms wide open, wanting to lock Lin Qi in a bear hug to create an opportunity for his comrades.

Lin Qi neither dodged nor avoided, his left hand striking second but arriving first.

The instant the opponent's thick arms were about to touch his body, his index and middle fingers shot out like lightning, clamping onto the opponent's wrist with incomparable precision.

The death soldier felt as if his wrist was being held in a death grip by a ten-thousand-ton hydraulic press; no matter how he surged his power, he could not advance another inch.

A soft yet condensed wisp of internal Qi was quietly emitted from Lin Qi's fingers.

"Crack!"

An incredibly crisp sound of bone fracturing was clearly audible over the noisy battlefield.

The burly death soldier's wrist was actually snapped into a comminuted fracture by his two fingers using pure clever force, with jagged white bone even piercing through the skin.

Before a shrill scream could even escape his throat...

Another death soldier had already attacked from the side, a vicious uppercut aiming straight for Lin Qi's ribs.

Without even turning his head, Lin Qi's right hand turned into a palm blade and casually chopped downward.

Tendon-Severing and Bone-Displacing Hand!

His palm precisely sliced into the connection point of the death soldier's shoulder blade.

"Crack!"

A dull sound of a joint dislocating rang out.

The death soldier's entire right arm instantly went limp, dangling at a bizarre angle, completely losing sensation and power.

In just a single exchange, two Second Transition elites had their combat capabilities neutralized.

And this was only the beginning.

Lin Qi's figure was like a ghost as he actively stepped into the midst of the crazed death soldiers.

He no longer used broad, sweeping Moves like Iron Mountain Lean, but instead utilized the control, grappling, and force-deflection techniques of martial arts to their absolute limit.

Taking a step out, he avoided a frontal pounce and lightly tapped his fingertip against the back of a death soldier's knee.

Meridian-Blocking Acupoint Strike.

The death soldier's forward momentum came to a screeching halt, his entire leg going weak as he collapsed uncontrollably to his knees.

Turning his body, his elbow followed the momentum to strike backward, hitting another sneak attacker right in the abdomen.

Inch Power erupted.

The sneak attacker was sent flying backward like he'd been hit by a heavy hammer, doubling over as stomach acid sprayed out.

For a moment, this Skeleton Wasteland was no longer a battlefield of clashing weapons, but had turned into an open-air human anatomy laboratory.

The crisp sound of bones breaking.

The dull sound of joints dislocating.

And the shrill wails of the death soldiers as they turned from madness to pain, and then from pain to despair.

These sounds intertwined, composing a hair-raising movement of flesh and blood.

In the distance, the faces of Xiao Kuangyun, Han Qianchi, and the others had changed from initial shock to a deathly pale.

Xiao Kuangyun watched as a death soldier's leg was stepped on by Lin Qi and bent backward 180 degrees. His stomach immediately churned, and he could no longer hold it back; leaning against a massive dragon bone, he began to retch violently.

On Han Qianchi's icy face, the muscles were twitching uncontrollably.

"He... he's not fighting, he's... dismantling..." he murmured with a dry voice.

In their understanding, combat was a clash of magnificent skills, a collision of brilliant Laws, and the rise and fall of health bars on a data panel.

Death should be a health bar hitting zero and turning into a white light.

But the scene before them completely overturned the worldview they had built over twenty years.

No skills, no light effects.

Only the most primitive, bloody, and cruel destruction of limbs.

A living human being was having their limbs broken, bones crushed, and was being dismantled like a doll, yet they still retained a breath of life, squirming and wailing in pain on the ground.

This pure physical violence and the close-at-hand bloody scene brought a mental shock far more intense and terrifying than any S-rank Forbidden Curse.

In less than three short minutes...

The wailing gradually subsided.

Over thirty Li family elite death soldiers, who were enough to cause panic in a city in the outside world, were now all slumped in pools of blood like tattered sacks.

Not a single one was dead.

Yet not a single one was whole.

Every one of them was conscious, yet they had all lost the ability to Move, only able to lie on the ground and look at the figure standing in the center of the 'corpses' with eyes full of the utmost malice and terror.

On the entire battlefield, besides Lin Qi, there was not a single enemy left standing.

In the center of the messy slaughterhouse of flesh and blood, Lin Qi slowly straightened his back.

His body was spotless, without even a single wrinkle on the hem of his clothes, as if he had just taken a stroll in a garden.

He slowly raised his head, his icy eyes sweeping over the group of Prodigies on the periphery who were already so scared their legs were soft, barely able to stand.

The moment Xiao Kuangyun, Han Qianchi, and the others made contact with his gaze, they all instinctively lowered their heads like cats whose tails had been stepped on, not daring to meet his eyes at all.

Finally, Lin Qi's gaze landed on Li Pojun, who was being held up by two guards, his face as pale as paper.

He spoke, his voice not loud, yet it clearly reached everyone's ears, carrying an undisguised contempt and irony.

"These are the so-called elite death soldiers of the Li family?"
