376: Chapter 377 Even God would have to disconnect me if I planted a bomb along the internet cable.

Lin Qi swung his entrenching tool three times in quick succession.

Each strike accurately hit the core of the light figure's torso, the Dao Source-infused entrenching tool slicing the deep purple conceptual entity into fragments.

The fragments scattered in the air for less than a second before pulling back together as if drawn by a magnet.

The first reconstruction took zero point three seconds.

The second, zero point two seconds.

The third, zero point one second.

It was getting faster with every hit.

Lin Qi ceased his attack, retreated three steps, and rested the tip of his shovel on the ground.

He didn't continue to rush in blindly.

Attacking something that couldn't be killed was a waste of effort, no matter how many times he did it.

Having finished its reconstruction, the light figure seemed completely indifferent to the previous attacks and raised its hand toward Lin Qi once more.

This time, it wasn't a single ray; it opened its fingers, firing five conceptual erasure rays simultaneously, sealing off all of Lin Qi's paths for evasion.

Yu Step.

Lin Qi's figure wove through the gaps between the five rays, moving so fast he left an afterimage in the air.

The rays hit the ground behind him, and five "void zones" of varying sizes appeared silently.

Lin Qi didn't look back after landing; his attention was entirely focused on the microscopic perception of his Dao Source.

From the moment his first strike hit the light figure, his Dao Source had been doing one thing.

Analyzing.

The light figure's composition was different from anything he had ever seen.

It wasn't matter, energy, or Law.

It was a pure "conceptual projection."

It was like an image cast on a wall by a projector; you could block it with your hand and the image would break, but as long as the projector was on and the light source remained, the image would recover instantly.

The projector was the Prophet's Gaze.

The light source was that giant eye hanging in the sky.

“I see.”

Lin Qi glanced up at the sky.

The giant eye composed of chaotic data still hung high, watching over this region.

As long as those eyes were watching, this conceptual entity was immortal.

To kill the projection, one had to smash the projector first.

The problem was, the projector was in a High-Dimensional Space.

He couldn't reach it.

However...

Lin Qi lowered his head and looked back at the light figure before him.

If he couldn't smash the projector, surely he could reach the network cable?

Between the light figure and the Prophet, there had to be a connection channel maintaining the conceptual transmission. Much like Abyssal Fang's Space Anchors, it was a tangible energy link.

His Dao Source immediately switched to its most precise microscopic mode, beginning to scan the spatial structure around the light figure.

The light figure didn't give him much time.

Its attack frequency was increasing, and the conceptual rays turned from single shots into a continuous barrage, erasing chunks of the ground within Base D-3.

Lin Qi scanned while dodging.

Using the Yu Step movement technique, he wove through the gaps of the conceptual rays to the absolute limit, each dodge precise down to the millimeter.

Three seconds.

Five seconds.

Eight seconds.

Found it.

Directly above the light figure's "head," there was an invisible stream of information.

It was incredibly thin—ten thousand times thinner than a strand of hair—but in the microscopic vision of the Dao Source, it shone as bright as a galaxy.

That information stream extended from the top of the light figure deep into the pupil of the giant eye in the sky, piercing through the planar barriers of reality and connecting to High-Dimensional Space.

This was the network cable.

The corner of Lin Qi's mouth twitched.

He wasn't going to smash the projector anymore.

He was going to shove something through the cable to the other end.

He stopped dodging and stomped the ground, turning into an afterimage as he charged straight at the light figure.

The light figure reacted quickly, firing five conceptual rays at once.

Lin Qi didn't dodge; he activated his Protective Aura to its full extent.

Two rays hit his left shoulder and right arm.

The Protective Aura vibrated violently, peeling away layer by layer only to be replenished just as fast, barely holding back the erosion of the conceptual erasure.

It hurt.

It wasn't physical pain, but a stinging ache at the Soul level from being abraded by higher-dimensional concepts.

Lin Qi gritted his teeth and didn't stop for a single step.

He held the entrenching tool high over his head, concentrating all the Dao Source he could mobilize onto the blade.

He didn't swing at the light figure.

Instead, he stabbed at the invisible stream of information above its head.

The moment the tip of the shovel touched the information stream, Lin Qi felt his Dao Source being gripped by an incredibly powerful vacuum.

The transmission of the information stream was bidirectional.

If the Prophet could project concepts down through this channel, then he could also pour things up through it.

Dao Source surged frantically into the tip of the shovel, flowing upstream along that information path.

It wasn't an attack; it was an infusion.

He took a mass of Dao Source compressed to the extreme, wrapped it in the core logic of "Physical Formatting," and turned it into a bomb.

Then, using the bridge the Prophet had built, he kicked it across.

High-Dimensional Space.

That constantly shifting mass of light and shadow was monitoring the battle in the lower world through the Gaze channel.

Suddenly, a completely foreign energy surged through the channel.

It was crude, overbearing, and utterly unreasonable.

It carried a "low-level deletion" logic that made the entity extremely uncomfortable.

The flickering frequency of the light and shadow suddenly accelerated—a reaction equivalent to "surprise."

A lower-dimensional creature had shoved a bomb into its face through its own Gaze channel?

In the next instant, the Dao Source bomb detonated at the higher-dimensional port of the channel.

Boom.

It wasn't an explosion in the physical sense.

It was formatting logic blowing a hole in the higher-dimensional information structure.

The damage the Prophet sustained was negligible; this kind of lower-dimensional energy couldn't pose a real threat to its true form.

However, the deletion property of that "formatting" was corroding its connection nodes to the lower world.

If it didn't cut the connection, the corrosion would spread and pollute its projection matrix.

The Prophet made its decision.

Gaze, retracted.

In an instant.

Above Base D-3, the giant eye that occupied the entire sky suddenly shrank.

Like a projector being forced to shut down.

The deep purple light figure in front of Lin Qi stopped all movement at the exact moment the giant eye disappeared.

The purple light dimmed rapidly.

It lowered its "head" and looked at Lin Qi.

On that featureless head, in the final moment of its dissipation, something akin to an expression of surprise seemed to emerge.

Then, the entire conceptual entity crumbled like a sandcastle hit by a wave, starting from its feet and silently turning into a cloud of purple light motes.

The light motes drifted in the air for a few seconds before completely vanishing.

Nothing remained.

No, that wasn't right.

There was something on the ground.

In the very center of the "void" where the conceptual entity had stood, lay a small, fist-sized deep purple crystal.

It looked like debris that hadn't been recovered in time after the entity's collapse.

Lin Qi didn't pick it up immediately; he first checked his own condition.

His Protective Aura was nearly worn away and needed time to recover.

His Dao Source consumption exceeded half, and his internal reserves had dropped to an uncomfortable level.

On his left shoulder and right arm, the skin felt faintly hot—burn marks left by the conceptual rays. Although his Protective Aura had blocked the erasure effect, it hadn't completely isolated him from the heat.

For a short time, his combat strength was reduced by at least fifty percent.

But he had won.

The sky returned to its normal color.

Outside the perimeter of Base D-3, the Law Creatures lit up one by one with the faint glow of their Law Circuits, stumbling as they stood back up.

Rapid footsteps came from the underground passage entrance.

Instructor Su Qing was the first to rush out, still clutching that golden token.

She scanned the devastation in the open area—those "void zones" erased by concepts—and then looked at Lin Qi standing in the middle.

“Is it over?”

“It's over.”

Lin Qi bent down and picked up the deep purple crystal from the ground.

Instructor Su Qing walked to his side, her Gaze falling on the reddened burn mark on his left shoulder.

“Are you hurt?”

“Just a surface wound,” Lin Qi replied casually, turning the crystal over in his hand.

He probed it with his Dao Source.

The interior of the crystal stored a large amount of chaotic higher-dimensional information fragments; most were damaged, but one segment of the data chain was relatively intact.

Lin Qi's expression suddenly changed.
