167: Chapter 165 The Wonderful Journey Begins

Zhang Mu, who had been following Wino, was truly surprised.

With only one day left for the assessment, he had assumed Wino was bound to fail.

Although the first batch of freshmen had to include someone connected to the power players of Ying Country, it didn't necessarily have to be Wino.

People with a similar status to his weren't that hard to find.

Seeing that it was already dark, Zhang Mu was considering looking for someone else and thinking of a suitable reason to let them in, but he didn't expect Wino to pull off a last-minute comeback.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Shaking his head as he walked out of the castle, Zhang Mu raised his hand and released five Owls to notify the five freshmen of the departure time.

"One fewer than expected."

After thinking for a moment, he considered that they would be boarding the train tomorrow morning, and the first semester was only to establish the existence of Hogwarts, with no other requirements.

"One less is fine; it'll be easier to keep them in check."

Watching the Owls disappear into the night, Zhang Mu drove the old car to Kings Cross Station.

First, he opened a door to the "World," then placed it behind a wall so that the freshmen would enter the "World" directly upon passing through the wall.

Zhang Mu then stepped through the gate alone, communicating with the Core through his mind as he scanned the vast "World."

It was currently divided into two levels.

The first level was where the original owner kept the family's wealth.

At a rough count, there were about several hundred locked rooms.

Unfortunately, the locks were all set individually, and Zhang Mu didn't have the ability to open them yet. He could only take a few envious glances before his Mental Energy reached the second level in an instant.

The second level was divided into two areas: the left was Immortal Xu's Mountain Gate, and the right was Hogwarts. The two sides were not connected.

Opening his eyes, he controlled the Core to transport himself to the Hogwarts area and began setting up the scene.

Most things had actually already been prepared in his spare time.

Now, after placing the "teachers" and "upperclassmen," all that remained were some iconic items and the magical beasts needed for the freshmen's assessment.

For example, murals where the characters could move and even leave the canvas to visit neighboring oil paintings.

This stuff was quite troublesome, but Zhang Mu didn't waste too much thought on it.

Because paintings with moving characters were simple; Puppet Art could easily achieve a similar effect.

As for visiting "neighbors," he just had to make the painted character appear in the adjacent painting.

Anyway, the process of a character "walking out" of the frame wasn't something the original work said could be seen with the naked eye.

After being busy in the academy for several hours, it was finally mostly finished.

Finally, Zhang Mu summoned a Portal to rush to the Other World and brought back the magical beasts that Sauron had prepared and tamed to be very docile.

He placed them in the pre-planned breeding warehouse within the school and summoned puppets specifically designed to feed magical beasts to look after them.

"Done." Standing at Kings Cross Station and watching the sky outside turn white, Zhang Mu clapped his hands. "They should be coming soon."

...

"Check carefully; don't leave anything behind."

In the office of the Superpower Bureau at MI6, Toby's team of four, who hadn't slept all night, were rummaging through the clothes and sundries in their respective suitcases.

"Hey, Toby." Klaisi straightened up. "I know you're excited, and so am I, but we're not children anymore."

"Just a friendly reminder." Toby turned to look at Misha, who had a serious little face and was counting toys, snacks, and other items one by one. "Look how serious Misha is."

"Good grief." Klaisi spread his hands in exasperation, and seeing that no one was paying attention to him, he helplessly lowered his head and continued his work.

"By the way," Leon said a moment later, his hands not stopping, "Besides Toby, another freshman passed the test yesterday."

"It's Wino, I know him."

The smile on Toby's face slowly faded. "The director revealed to me that he is Prince Suleiman's man."

"Prince Suleiman?" Leon's hands paused involuntarily. "I heard he is the next successor to the throne, and the public support for him is very high."

"High?" Toby curled his lip. "On what basis do you make such a judgment?"

"Uh, newspapers, Yahoo Messenger, and MSN news pushes."

"Prince Suleiman has shares in all those companies."

After a moment of daze, Leon realized what Toby meant, shook his head with a smile, and said nothing more.

Toby was somewhat surprised to see him like this. "Aren't you angry that you were played and deceived?"

"Whatever, I don't have the power to change it anyway."

It seemed that was indeed the case.

Standing straight and pondering for a while, Toby suddenly thought of Hogwarts. What unknown changes would magic bring to the modern world?

"Uncle Toby, Misha didn't miss anything."

His sleeve was tugged. He snapped out of it, looked down at Misha's cute smile, and patted her head in praise.

If only he had a daughter of his own.

Muttering to himself, he turned to look at the whitening horizon. "Let's go; the car is waiting for us downstairs."

Then the three of them closed their suitcases, walked into the elevator side by side, and reached the main entrance.

In front of the door, the Queen's exclusive ride, a brown Bentley State Limousine, sat quietly before the steps.

More than a dozen jungle-camouflaged military jeeps guarded the sedan. Through the half-lowered window gaps, the four of them saw that they were filled with Soldiers armed with live ammunition.

The four of them went down the stone steps to the car, and the driver's door was pushed open from the inside.

An old man in a tuxedo greeted them with an elegant smile. "Mr. Toby, Mr. Leon, Mr. Klaisi, oh, and this lovely young lady, Miss Misha."

"Hello, Mr. Li." Having been to the palace a few times, the four of them knew the old man's name.

"Please get in."

He opened the car door, and the group climbed into the back seat one by one. The butler sat back in the driver's seat, started the car, and stepped on the gas, and the motorcade moved slowly forward.

"Mr. Toby, the Queen has some words she hopes you will help convey to Mr. Dumbledore."

"Please, go ahead."

"Certain ambitious individuals have ill intentions toward Hogwarts, and the Queen feels deeply guilty for her inability to stop them."

Toby had been with MI6 for quite a few years; although he hadn't been deeply involved in missions or intelligence processing, he had heard a thing or two.

Thus, he naturally knew who the ambitious individuals the Queen mentioned were.

So he nodded. "I will convey it word for word."

"Additionally, during the conversation, please emphasize that the Queen has no intention of using Hogwarts to eliminate her enemies. I believe that with Mr. Dumbledore's abilities,"

"he will be able to investigate the matter clearly."

"Understood."

The butler didn't speak again after that, and Toby frowned, deep in thought.

It was their first time in a luxury car, let alone the exclusive ride of their country's monarch. Leon and Klaisi sat upright, too nervous to chat.

Only Misha looked around relaxedly, wanting to ask Toby a question, but since everyone else was silent, she stayed quiet and well-behaved.

The white on the horizon grew brighter until the morning sun appeared and turned golden.

The motorcade stopped at the entrance of Kings Cross Station, and the butler nimbly got out to open the back door.

When the four of them stepped out of the car, they were immediately shocked by the bustling scene before them. Leon and Klaisi instinctively wanted to turn back and get into the car.

It seemed almost every policeman in London had been deployed.

Uniformed officers held hands, forming a cordon with their bodies on both sides to block the crowds overflowing with curiosity.

"Where is Mr. Dumbledore? I hope he can sign for me!"

A fellow who was likely a fan struggled in the crowded heap, holding his arm high and waving the novel in his hand.

Toby was quick-witted and grabbed Leon and Klaisi by their back collars.

"Don't embarrass the Hogwarts freshmen; face it like a man."

"Besides, scenes like this will be with you forever from now on."

After saying that, Toby waved back at the crowd and headed toward the entrance.
