101: Ivy's shock

Under the soft, silvery sky, Linn held Aivi's hand, strolling through this vibrant and peculiar land.

He first led her to a neatly planned “field” near the edge of the divine spring. The soil here was a warm, jade-like luster, and many strange plants Aivi had never seen before grew upon it. Some had branches and leaves as translucent as crystal, flowing with magical light; others bore fruits shaped like stars, exhaling elemental aura. What surprised Aivi even more was that she could clearly perceive these plants slowly and continuously absorbing the rich life and elemental energy in the air at a speed far beyond normal, growing robustly.

"This is the magic plant garden," Linn said, pointing to the plants with a hint of a pioneer's pride. "Utilizing the nearly infinite life energy within the breath of life, combined with specific magic arrays and knowledge, I can accelerate the growth of many magical plants that are difficult to cultivate externally or require long periods to mature. Look at that 'Starlight Orchid'; it would take at least a hundred years to sprout and bloom outside, but here, it only takes one year."

Aivi leaned down, carefully examining an orchid whose leaves shimmered with starlight, feeling the active stellar magic within it. She couldn't help but exclaim, "This is incredible... This means the Star Sea Territory will have an almost infinite source of rare Materials!"

"Not only that," Linn said, smiling as he looked at the space, "now with Destiny's help, we can, to a certain extent, regulate the flow of time within the breath of life. We can achieve a time acceleration of up to approximately three times. This also doubles the growth rate of these magic plants."

"Time... acceleration?" Aivi was completely stunned. This ability, touching upon the Domain of time, was considered almost miraculous even in the ancient Legacy records of the Sea God Clan. She looked at Destiny beside her, her eyes filled with disbelief. She hadn't expected her to possess such immense power.

"It mainly relies on the inherent characteristics of the breath of life itself and the support of the ancient tree of life. I can't just mess with time on my own, you know," Destiny seemed to read Aivi's gaze and explained with a cheerful wave of her hand. "And the acceleration range is limited, and the consumption is huge, so it can't be used as a regular method."

After visiting these core areas, Linn led Aivi back to the ancient tree of life. Destiny had already prepared a simple rattan table and a few wooden cups there, filled with clear, Spiritual Qi-rich liquid – flower tea brewed with dew collected from the ancient tree of life in the morning.

The four sat around. Aivi was initially somewhat unconsciously reserved when facing Destiny, an instinctive reverence from the depths of her Bloodline for a supreme life form. But Destiny's demeanor was calm and elegant, and though her tone was cool, it wasn't distant. She merely calmly inquired about the current customs of the Sea God Clan and their methods of controlling ocean magic, keeping the conversation peaceful and natural. Dolia, on the other hand, chattered about many questions concerning the sea, coral, and underwater castles, her innocent and charming manner quickly putting Aivi at ease.

The fragrant tea wafted, and the conversation gradually shifted from abilities and races to the interesting stories of Linn and Aivi's acquaintance and some future aspirations. Linn spoke of his hope to one day open up an area within the breath of life similar to the ocean environment, diverting some seawater to cultivate marine magic plants, allowing Aivi to feel the atmosphere of her homeland there. As Aivi listened, her eyes sparkled, and holding Linn's hand, her heart was filled with warmth and anticipation. She not only saw Linn's hidden power but also his delicate care for her and their shared future blueprint.

The soft silver glow flashed again, and the two returned to Aivi's treehouse bedroom, filled with the sweet scent of flowers. The sea breeze outside the window remained, and the seashell wind chimes tinkled, as if the miraculous journey had been but a brief and real dream.

But the life energy still active within Aivi's body, and the incredibly clear memories in her mind, all told her that everything was real.

She turned, looking deeply at Linn, her gaze filled with tenderness, wonder, and a new understanding. "Now I understand," she said softly, "why you are always so calm, and why you are so confident about the future of the Star Sea Territory."

Linn gently embraced her, kissing the top of her head. "These are our trump cards, and also our responsibilities. Aivi, the area north of Shattered Star Island, plagued by Advanced Demonic Beasts, has always been a shadow in the hearts of the residents and an obstacle to the further development of the territory. My original plan was to completely clear these obstacles before the wedding, to take control of a complete and safe Shattered Star Island."

He slightly loosened his embrace, looking into Aivi's eyes, and said earnestly, "Now with Your Excellency Destiny's help, this will be much smoother. I want to wait until Shattered Star Island is completely stable, free from internal and external troubles, and then welcome my bride with the most stable and prosperous territory. Our wedding should be held in true peace and celebration."

Aivi recalled Destiny's calm yet infinitely powerful eyes, and her worries about the northern Demonic Beasts completely vanished. A Dragon willing to take on a human Incarnation and interact with Linn as an equal, her power level was definitely beyond what ordinary Advanced Demonic Beasts could compare to.

"I understand." Aivi nodded, her face showing no trace of complaint, only support and trust. "You are the Lord, this is your responsibility, and it is our future. I will wait for you, at Star Sea Fortress, or at the Sea God Tribe, wait for you to bring a complete Shattered Star Island to marry me." She paused, a gentle yet slightly playful smile gracing her lips, "However, with Your Excellency Destiny here, I imagine the wait shouldn't be too long, right?"

Linn also smiled, confident and warm. "Of course not. Wait for my good news."

The two embraced for a moment, enjoying the warm tranquility before the storm. The future was clearly visible, the path lay before them, and hand in hand, they no longer feared.

After staying with the Sea God Clan for a few days, Linn began his journey back, with Aivi reluctantly watching him depart.
