156: Final Battle 3

Jokic was unwilling but helpless; intelligence from five years ago stated the Dragon was only an Elementary Legendary. How could he not see through her now? Then she... was highly likely an Epic!

And this black-haired young lord was not at all weaker than himself, and the Soul pressure he exerted was even more terrifying! His blood-red eyes were staring at his tribesmen!

"I... choose to submit."

When Yue Qi Chi struggled to utter those words, his massive wolf head lowered. In his molten gold-like crimson eyes, the light of a king's arrogance and wildness seemed to be instantly drained, leaving only deep fatigue, humiliation, and... a hint of relief after recognizing reality.

Below, hundreds of thousands of werewolves were instantly deathly silent. From extreme ecstasy to extreme despair, and now to the "submission" spoken by the King's own mouth, the massive drop caused many werewolves to collapse to the ground, their eyes dull and devoid of all spirit. Some stubborn old werewolves let out unwilling whimpers, only to be held down firmly by tearful companions. Reality, like a cold anvil, smashed all unrealistic fantasies.

In stark contrast were the wave-like shouts of "Long live" from the Star Sea Territory army, the most direct praise for the Lord's supreme authority and power, filled with the elation and pride of the victors.

Linn nodded slightly, not surprised by this result. Faced with an absolute power gap and the threat of extermination—especially for a king who had just touched the taste of Legendary and had no time to savor the Peak of power before falling to the bottom—the desire for survival and the preservation of the tribe would ultimately override pointless pride.

He raised his hand, pointing to the figures in the military formation below who were exceptionally burly, clad in special heavy armor, and whose discipline was not at all inferior to that of human soldiers.

"Yue Qi Chi, do you see the Orc Legion under my command?" Linn's voice was calm but carried a magic that drew people to listen. "They once lived like many of the tribes under your command, scattered in the wilderness, struggling for survival, even attacking each other. But after choosing to follow me, they obtained excellent equipment, systematic training, stable food, and safe territory. The strong among them, such as Legion Commander Batu and others, have obtained precious Cultivate resources and paths for promotion. Their tribes are no longer precarious savage settlements, but a part of the Star Sea Territory's order that is protected and has development prospects."

Linn's gaze fell on Doncic's face: "I treat my followers equally. Power, loyalty, and merit are exchanged for status, resources, and a future. Today you submit, and the werewolf tribe becomes the subjects of my Star Sea Territory. You, Yue Qi Chi, will be a general under my command. Past slaughters are wiped clean; future achievements are for you to take with your own hands."

These words, like a glimmer of light in the darkness, pierced into Doncic's grey heart. He looked in the direction Linn pointed; those Orcs warriors had determined eyes, vigorous vital energy, and excellent equipment, indeed completely different from those primitive and chaotic Orcs tribes in his memory. Especially Linn's promise to "treat everyone equally" and "take achievements with your own hands" made his heart, which had just fallen silent, throb slightly once more.

Perhaps... this was not a dead end? At least, the tribesmen could survive and might even obtain a better life. And he, although he had lost his freedom, at least kept his Legendary power and life. In the future... perhaps there really was still a chance?

The struggle and weighing of options were completed in an instant. Doncic no longer hesitated; following the secret method Linn transmitted through the Soul connection, he proactively opened his Soul core. This was an unreserved, complete submission that placed his life and death entirely in the other's hands.

The light of the complex Star and Life Runes on Linn's fingertips flared brightly, turning into a brilliant stream of light that went straight into Doncic's brow. In an instant, an indestructible, absolutely dominant Soul link was established between the two. Doncic clearly felt that his life and death were now at the whim of this young lord. But at the same time, a pure and gentle power also fed back through the link, quickly smoothing over some minor internal injuries caused by his forced Breakthrough and the earlier confrontation with the spatial Seal, making his Legendary Early Stage Realm slightly more stable.

The contract was complete.

Doncic's massive body slowly knelt on one knee in the air, lowering his high wolf head, his voice muffled but clear: "Werewolf King Yue Qi Chi greets the Lord! From now on, I and my tribe are willing to be driven by the Lord, to go through fire and water, and will not hesitate!"

"Very good." Linn withdrew his majesty, his tone turning pragmatic. "Yue Qi Chi, hear my orders now."

"You are to reorganize the entire tribe immediately, abandon the Royal Court here, and migrate the entire tribe to the north."

"North?" Doncic was slightly stunned. The north was deeper into the Great Wilderness Forest, where the environment was even harsher, powerful tribes were numerous, and there were even rumors of ancient dangers.

"Correct, to the north," Linn affirmed. "I will designate a new migration area for you, far more vast and resource-rich than here. You don't need to worry about threats from other Orcs tribes." Linn paused, his tone carrying an unquestionable confidence. "Because you are now a Legendary. A Legendary, in the Great Wilderness Forest, is inherently one of the rule-makers."

"Furthermore, I will deploy 12,000 relatively reliable Orcs Vassal Army soldiers who have undergone preliminary training to be under your command, to assist in your migration and settlement, and to serve as guards and construction labor during the Early Stage in the new territory. Food, tools, building Materials, medicine... I will fully support all the Materials needed for initial construction."

As he spoke, Linn flipped his palm, and a jade bottle sealed with a magic crystal appeared in his hand. Amber liquid flowed inside the bottle, with patterns of Law faintly flickering. "This is a Tier 7 Legendary Potion, specifically for stabilizing the Realm of those who have just entered the Legendary rank and for solidifying the Foundation. Now, it is yours."

Doncic's massive wolf claws trembled slightly as he took the potion. A Tier 7 Legendary Potion! Even during his Peak, this was a treasure he wouldn't even dare to think of! It could allow him to quickly stabilize his Legendary Realm, avoid unstable power, and even be of great benefit to future improvements. The weight of this "meeting gift" far exceeded his expectations.

The loss of leaving his home was quickly diluted by the warmth of the potion in his hand and the possible blueprint of the future. Troops, supplies, territory, and this precious potion... At this moment, the residual unwillingness and humiliation in Doncic's heart strangely dissipated a lot, replaced by a complex emotion! Perhaps, submitting to such a powerful, generous, and seemingly methodical master was truly not a bad choice for the long-term future of the werewolf tribe? At least, it was much better than extermination or being forever trapped in this narrow land targeted by humans.

"Thank you for the Lord's generous gift! Yue Qi Chi will certainly not fail your trust!" This time, there was a bit more sincere excitement in his voice.

"Go, take action as soon as possible. I will have General Yierman cooperate with you, providing necessary convenience and guidance. Remember, what I want is a werewolf tribe that can gain a foothold in the north and gradually open up more northern territories for me, not a group of stray dogs. Show your value, Yue Qi Chi, and you and your tribe will find your own place within the Star Sea Territory's System."

Linn finished speaking and said no more, signaling Destiny to turn around. The Silver Dragon turned gracefully, carrying its master toward the Po Jun Legion main camp below, taking away the suffocating pressure in the air.

Yue Qi Chi held the warm Legendary potion, watching Linn's departing back, then looked at the human army below that had begun to slowly retreat but still maintained strict discipline, as well as those tribesmen who were gradually recovering from their daze and looking over with complex eyes. He let out a long, turbid breath mixed with blood foam and many emotions.

He landed in front of the ruins of the Royal Court. Wade and other generals came scrambling to meet him, their faces full of fear and inquiry.

"King, we... really..."

Yue Qi Chi interrupted Wade's words, his voice having regained its former steadiness and even carrying a hint of new determination: "Order the entire tribe to immediately pack everything that can be taken, abandon heavy objects, and prepare to migrate."

"Migrate? To... where?"

"North." Doncic looked up at the rolling, seemingly endless dark green forest sea to the north. "The Lord has granted us new land and a future. Wade, you take the elite warriors to cooperate with the Vassal Army the Lord assigned to us to maintain order and plan the route. Shamans, appease the tribesmen and hold a brief farewell ceremony. We don't have much time."

His gaze swept across the werewolf faces, which were either bewildered, sorrowful, or still unwilling. He raised his voice, and his Legendary pressure naturally flowed out; though no longer violent, it was more solid and heavy: "Tribesmen! Today's humiliation stems from our lack of strength! But today's choice is for tomorrow's survival and prosperity! The Lord has promised us a new home, abundant supplies, and opportunities for development! I, Yue Qi Chi, swear by the name and Soul of the Werewolf King that I will lead you to carve out a new glory for the werewolves in the north! Those willing to follow me, pick up your packs! Those who linger here... can stay, but I cannot guarantee your life or death."

Ultimately, out of habitual obedience to the King, fear of extermination, and that slim hope for a "new home," the werewolves began to move silently. Cries, scoldings, and the noise of dismantling and transporting gradually rose, and the massive Royal Court fell into the busy and chaotic preparations for migration.
