88: Greatly increased strength
Inside the breath of life space, Destiny saw through Linn's expectant gaze.
"Linn, come up!"
Linn was overjoyed. As a Dragon Rider, he naturally wanted to soar on the Dragon, but he was too embarrassed to ask! Linn certainly wouldn't refuse Destiny's proactive invitation.
The gracefully shaped Dragon squatted on the ground, and Linn leaped up to sit on its neck.
"Master, and me." Dolia spoke softly, full of yearning.
Linn smiled, "Destiny, this is Dolia, the Spirit of this breath of life space."
"I know her. Over the years, I occasionally woke up and could sense her presence. Come up together!"
Only after gaining Destiny's consent did the little elf Dolia flash onto Linn's shoulder. The little fellow seemed even more excited than Linn.
The Dragon spread its wings and rose. "Linn, Dolia, hold on!" As soon as the words fell, the Dragon's body turned into a phantom, using Space Jump to instantly appear on the highest peak of the breath of life.
Linn had often seen this mountaintop from afar but had never been there. He didn't expect to arrive in the blink of an eye!
"Destiny! You actually possess such speed!" The surprises the Dragon brought Linn were continuous.
"Hehe! Linn, I control the Space Element. When I step into Legendary Rank, I can use my abilities to construct a teleportation array for you." Destiny was full of pride.
"A teleportation array!" Linn was overjoyed. If he were to advance onto the mainland in the future and establish a teleportation array in the Great Wilderness Forest, which faces Star Sea City across the sea, communication between the two places and the army's mobility would be greatly enhanced.
"Destiny, why are your eyes two colors?" Destiny's body was extremely beautiful, but her two eyes seemed slightly mismatched. Linn voiced the confusion in his heart.
"The silver eye represents Space, and the emerald eye is the Divine Ability the Goddess of Life bestowed upon me: Time! I can briefly change the rate of time flow in an area of space. The stronger our power becomes, the more the time flow rate and multiplier I can change will increase. For example, in this current breath of life. I can now control a threefold time flow rate. Of course, I can switch the color of both eyes freely. Look," Destiny said, turning her massive head toward him.
Both eyes turned emerald.
"Wow! Looking like that, Destiny, you are so beautiful!" The little elf Dolia clapped her tiny hands and cheered.
"Threefold flow rate? Does that mean that after you change the time, one year for me here is equivalent to three years outside?"
"Yes, Linn! This space was originally left behind by the Goddess of Life. The Goddess of Life is extremely powerful, mastering Life and Time. Using the divine spring as the base for the array, there is absolutely no problem with the modification."
Linn calculated silently in his heart: the Dragon Scale Horse, a species that normally takes several years to mature, could now grow in just one year inside the breath of life space. This meant that within ten years, he would possess a massive Knight Regiment!
Afterward, Destiny led Linn on a normal flight around, and it was the first time Linn saw the full panorama of the breath of life. Lakes, rivers, mountains, grasslands... all of it was a rare paradise.
Returning to the edge of the divine spring, Linn asked Destiny if she would follow him to the outside world, but Destiny complained about Linn slightly. She stated that she wouldn't go out yet; she would stay here to help him modify the time flow rate. This would greatly shorten the time for Linn's promotion, allowing her to Break through to Legendary Rank.
Linn looked embarrassed. If it weren't for him, Destiny would have been Legendary Rank the moment she hatched.
Bidding farewell to Destiny and Dolia, Linn, in high spirits, walked out of the breath of life. He returned to his seclusion.
Linn walked out of his room, stretched lazily, feeling incredibly refreshed. Elise was just preparing to clean Linn's room when she saw this scene.
"Young Master! You're out of seclusion?"
"Yes, Elise," Linn said with a smile on his face.
"You... Broke through?" Elise's delicate face was filled with uncertainty.
Linn stroked her long golden hair, "Yes! I Broke through."
"Congratulations, Young Master!" Elise offered sincere congratulations. Unknowingly, the man before her had reached this level of strength, and combined with his identity as a Rank Five Apothecary, he held a position on the entire Continent of Saidi Luoyate.
"Elise, you're doing well too; you've reached High Gold Rank," Linn could now perceive Elise's strength with a casual glance.
"Compared to that Ocean guy, I'm still a bit lacking!" Elise pouted. "Half a year ago, that guy entered Initial Earth Rank, and he obtained a Legacy, becoming an Hetero-Elemental Knight. His strength greatly increased. And Batu also reached Initial Earth Rank."
"Oh! Elise, go call Ocean over." Linn became interested. The Hetero-Elemental Knight was a profession only found in legends! He hadn't expected Ocean to have such an opportunity. As for Batu, Linn wasn't surprised at all; Orcs have high talent and possess Apprentice strength as soon as they reach adulthood.
Inside Linn's study. Ocean gently knocked on the door outside: "Sir!"
"Come in!" As soon as Ocean entered, his strength had indeed reached Initial Earth Rank and was only a sliver away from entering Intermediate Earth Rank. His entire being was filled with the aura of the vast ocean. Both his eyes had turned sea-blue, and his Bright Silver Armor made him look exceptionally capable.
"Hehe! Sir, you're finally out of seclusion." His attitude remained respectful, but the improvement in his demeanor still couldn't change his childish habit. "Sir, why can I still not see through your strength?"
Ocean was honest and never harbored ill intentions; when he had a doubt, he immediately brought it up.
"I fortunately Broke through several stages consecutively." Linn feigned a casual, lighthearted demeanor. At the same time, he intentionally told Ocean not to be arrogant but to remain grounded and continue to Cultivate properly.
"Right, Elise mentioned you became an Hetero-Elemental Knight? Tell me what happened."
While shocked by Linn's growth, Ocean respectfully replied, "Reporting, Sir, when I Broke through to Earth Rank, I was surrounded by a massive consciousness. It asked me if I would accept its Legacy to become stronger. I accepted without hesitation. After the Legacy, I felt that I possessed incredibly powerful Ocean Element abilities. I can now freely alter everything within a small sea area."
"Doesn't that mean that in future sea battles, you could whip up huge waves or currents to deal with enemies?" Linn asked curiously.
"Yes, Sir! This way, our advantage at sea will greatly increase, and I can also help our Fleet avoid natural disasters." Ocean answered excitedly.
"Very good! Keep up the hard work. You may go now. Inform everyone, including the core members of Star Moon City. We will hold a collective meeting for the Star Sea Territory the day after tomorrow."
"Yes, Sir, Ocean will certainly live up to your expectations." At the same time, Ocean knew that the Star Sea Territory was about to make another big move; every collective meeting held by the Lord resulted in a great increase in the Star Sea Territory's strength.
After Ocean left, Linn did not rest. Instead, he began thinking about the meeting agenda on a parchment scroll: the development of the territory, the expansion of the military, and Linn's preparation to strike at the Northern Plateau of Shattered Star Island. The potential threat on Shattered Star Island must be removed, allowing the entire Shattered Star Island to be completely under his control.
