544: Power of the Gods

Inside Song Mingguang's spiritual world,

A pitch-black Soul body frantically churned and roared.

"Song Mingguang, what are you trying to do?!"

"Are you crazy?!"

"Now I am almost one with you. If you try to forcibly kill me, you will also suffer irreversible consequences!"

"I advise you not to go mad!"

But Song Mingguang, standing opposite Yinyin, felt no ripples in his heart.

He merely said indifferently, "Everything you said is correct."

"Burning you will bring irreversible consequences, but it doesn't matter."

"Because the power I've gained is simply too strong."

"Losing an arm or a leg is completely irrelevant."

Finally, a sneer appeared at the corner of his mouth.

At the same time, one of the dense Gods Locks Entanglement around his spiritual body suddenly broke!

"Crack!"

The moment the Gods Lock broke,

The Shura Killing Field outside completely transformed into an ocean of blazing white light.

All the spectators watching from around the world didn't find it dazzling at all; instead, they felt warm and comfortable all over, even through the screen.

But only Peak powerhouses could clearly sense how terrifying Song Mingguang was at that moment.

Especially Arthas, the Demon Emperor, and other super powerhouses of the Magic Element, felt a surge of alarm, even dread!

A fear rose from the depths of their Souls.

These supreme powerhouses felt fear towards Song Mingguang at this moment!

What an incredible thing was this?

Even Helden's expression was somewhat complex.

What kind of power was this? How could it restrain the Magic Element so effectively? And its attack was very peculiar, seeming to only work on specific targets.

He couldn't quite understand.

Very few people in the entire Universe knew about the Gods Lock, so Helden naturally wasn't clear about it.

But in the Human Race warship, Zheng Qiong was staring blankly, completely absorbed.

He knew what this was: the legendary Divine Power.

He was the oldest of the eight members of the Hall of Gods Execution, and in his youth, he had seen the Sacred Ancestor act in his later years.

That year, the sun in the greatest Galaxy in the entire Universe reached the end of its life.

The sun's extinction caused the entire Galaxy to be on the verge of collapse within just a few days.

Those strong enough were naturally unaffected, but some ordinary, common lives could only face death.

Until that day, the Sacred Ancestor descended upon this Galaxy, created four Clones, and placed them within five dying suns, releasing the last of his Divine Power!

He wanted to buy time for all the living beings in this great Galaxy to evacuate!

That operation was called the Great Transfer!

But moving between Galaxies required a massive amount of manpower, Materials, and time!

Especially for the Source Spirit Galaxy, which was known as the Convergence Point of All Things!

There were thousands of stars like Earth in the Source Spirit Galaxy; it was the largest Galaxy in the entire Universe! There was no other!

Its greatness stemmed from the fact that this Galaxy had witnessed the convergence of various races from across the Universe; countless incompatible beings could coexist here!

However, because there were so many living beings, and the closest Galaxy to the Source Spirit Galaxy was a full thirty light-years away, this was destined to be a difficult long march.

Although superluminal Universe warships had already been created back then, such a massive operation would generate many problems and troubles!

There were even many high-ranking individuals scheming and vying for one last fortune, all of which were obstacles to the Great Transfer.

Completing this grand operation required a lot of time.

So the Sacred Ancestor burned his Divine Power for a full fifteen years!

Five suns!

Nearly six thousand days and nights!

The Sacred Ancestor allowed this Galaxy to live for an additional fifteen years, just to buy time for those minuscule lives to transfer!

At this moment, Zheng Qiong looked at the Divine Power before him, his thoughts pulled back to that year.

He was still an ordinary engineer, and during the fifteen years of the Great Transfer, he followed his Master, working day and night to build one massive superluminal warship after another using the remaining Materials in the Galaxy!

Every day, he would look up at the sun above his planet.

He was afraid it would extinguish.

So he was very nervous and anxious every day. In his youth, he was like those irresponsible so-called powerhouses, wanting to leave quickly, not wanting to do something that offered no reward and would instead bring countless troubles.

But his Master wouldn't let him go and taught him daily.

The most memorable quote was: "Your intelligence is not a talent for you to act recklessly!"

"That is a gift from heaven!"

"According to the law of equivalent exchange, if heaven gives you this gift, you should use this gift to repay this world!"

"Now, it's time for you to share this gift with everyone, but you tell me you want to escape?!"

"Fine, then don't call me Master anymore. I don't have a disciple like you!"

That year, Zheng Qiong was unconvinced but dared not leave, so he remained a warship builder for fifteen years under the illumination of Divine Power.

Those fifteen years were a period he could never forget, even to this day.

How long had he lived? Eighty thousand years? Or a hundred thousand years? He couldn't remember clearly, as the Supreme Creator was immortal; if the Lord of the Temple hadn't devoured his Original Land to achieve Dao as a Creator, he would never have died.

But he couldn't quite remember what happened during most of his life, nor did he bother to think about it.

Only those fifteen years were as brilliant as summer flowers.

He toiled under the Divine Power, sweating profusely, racing against time, and rapidly operating his brain, using his hands and wisdom to create one warship after another with the meager Materials available.

Every day, small flowers and grasses that had gained sentience would come to cheer him on.

He was truly happy when the little ones twisted their branches and nodded in thanks with their tender voices.

The deepest memory was of a small monkey who hopped over with a banana, nervous for a long time, stammering until Zheng Qiong became a bit impatient before he suddenly spoke.

"You... you... you are different from them."

Zheng Qiong was startled at the time.

The little monkey placed his favorite banana on the ground and said excitedly, "You are a hero! Because you are so amazing and haven't abandoned us!"

After saying that, he quickly turned and ran away.

It was then that Zheng Qiong understood why his Revered Master said his talent was a gift from heaven.

This gift was truly beautiful.

He became even more motivated.

His Revered Master also educated him less and less.

And the Divine Power seemed as if it would never extinguish.

Until one day, as the Great Transfer neared its end,

He suddenly received terrible news.

His Revered Master had collapsed from exhaustion among the steel warships and never woke up again.

Looking at the withered corpse, Zheng Qiong wiped away a tear, read his Revered Master's will, agreed to cremation, and then once again threw himself into warship manufacturing.

Finally, the Great Transfer succeeded.

Thanks to the efforts of countless people, not a single life in the Source Spirit Galaxy died due to the collapse of the Galaxy.

He sat in the last evacuating warship, looking out the window, holding his Revered Master's ashes in his hands, gazing at the sun that was finally about to extinguish, and suddenly cried.

He scattered the ashes across this Universe, according to his Revered Master's last wishes.

At that moment, an aged voice echoed in his mind again, from the Sacred Ancestor.

"Little one, come with me."

The Sacred Ancestor took him to an Original Land and helped him achieve Dao as an Original Creator.

But he wasn't very happy... no, he should have been very unhappy.

Because his Revered Master wasn't there.

His Revered Master didn't see him achieve success and fame.

So did his Revered Master still think he was that selfish, bad child?

This question often lingered on every lonely night, like an echo in a hollow valley, reverberating in his mind.

A few years later, the Sacred Ancestor also passed away.

From then on, Zheng Qiong devoted himself entirely to the study of Divine Power.

But even as a Supreme Creator, he couldn't fully comprehend where that mysterious power came from.

Later, he became very powerful, doing many earth-shattering deeds, even tearing off a corner of the mask on the Lord of the Temple's face.

But what he often recalled were only those fifteen years.

That was a story buried deep in his Soul.

Not just him, every Supreme Creator had their own story, but they were already old and didn't like to talk about them anymore, so they just kept them in their memories to savor.

Only at this moment, Song Mingguang truly made him uncontrollably recall that arduous fifteen years, recall his Revered Master, and recall the Sacred Ancestor.

At this moment... tears unconsciously fell.
