591: Conspiracy

The Demon Emperor stared intently at Arthas.

This choice was too crazy.

If it wasn't handled properly, everything would be over!

But Arthas was right; once everyone returned to the Ancestral Star, who would still care about anything here?

“A plan, I need a detailed and feasible plan,” the Demon Emperor said in a deep voice.

Hearing this reply, Arthas smiled and said, “Don't worry, the plan has already been made; you just need to cooperate.”

“Currently, the Eight War Zones are already infinitely close to full-scale war.”

“But the conflict between our Galaxy King Alliance and the Earth Goddess Alliance still exists; their people are clearly not putting in their full effort, so the first step is to quell the internal strife.”

“Announce to the entire Other-race Continent that war is imminent, and eliminate any dissenting voices—no, exterminate their entire clans. These lives are all sources of our power!”

“This is the first part!”

“Secondly, let the Wild Bone Clan and the Ghost Clan lead the charge. Whether it's fighting the Earth Goddess Alliance or the border, let them go.”

“As for how to do it, it's simple: promise countless riches.”

“Currently, for us, besides blood and Demonic Energy, what else cannot be given up?”

“Divine-Grade weapons, Myth-Grade weapons—all of them can be thrown out.”

“Burn the bridges!”

“It's about playing at all costs!”

“Once the Wild Bone Clan and the Ghost Clan have exhausted themselves against the others.”

“The power we've secretly absorbed will also be enough to elevate our strength to a new height.”

“At this point, we will launch a full-scale war against those two clans, completely eradicating them with overwhelming force.”

“After absorbing their power, wouldn't the second qualitative change come?”

“Then, sacrifice everything within our own clans—the third qualitative change!”

“At this point, who would we fear?”

“Even if we can't fight ten with one, we can definitely survive until the day the Ancestral Star descends.”

The Demon Emperor narrowed his eyes slightly and said, “Where do you put Helden and the Human Race?”

“What if they intervene in all of this?”

Arthas sneered, “I can guarantee that as long as our internal strife begins, the Human Race will not easily march out.”

“They are a race that will not easily sacrifice any of their own kind. Seeing us fight among ourselves, they will naturally choose to remain idle, waiting until both sides are exhausted before striking.”

“As for the Earth Goddess Alliance, there's even less to say; they are even more a force that advocates for peace and will not actively participate in our affairs.”

The Demon Emperor coldly snorted, “The problem is, if they discover our objective, will they still remain idle?”

“Will they just watch us grow stronger?”

Arthas sneered, “Of course not, so we must also hide our objective.”

“For example, we say we want to go to full-scale war, and this time we will definitely defeat the Human Race.”

“Then the two of us will take the lead, fighting on the front lines the entire time. Who would still suspect our motives?”

“Even if Helden doesn't participate, we can even turn the tables and accuse him of betraying the Other-race Continent!”

After listening to this, the Demon Emperor once again fell into a long period of hesitation.

Many things in this world that seem very complicated actually have very simple fundamental goals, so simple that people dare not believe them.

The reason they appear complex is because those who carry out these plans lay countless illusions, tell many lies, and give everyone a lot of room for imagination.

Ultimately, the two hit it off.

Three days later.

Arthas and the Devil Emperor had already formulated a very complete reward system based on merit.

Their goal was to make people die, to sacrifice, to make people believe in them.

And to achieve these things, no tricks were actually needed.

Only two words: profit.

If I give you ten million to make you believe I am a Saint, would you believe me?

As for where such immense profits would come from?

The Demon Race and the Blood Clan truly had them.

Two super clans that had ruled the Other-race Continent for nearly a thousand years, their foundations were terrifying, and their wealth was so abundant that others could not even imagine it.

In a world like the Other-race Continent, where the strong prey on the weak, the gap between rich and poor was as vast as the Galaxy.

The loser lost everything, while the winner took all.

The Demon Race and the Blood Clan were entities that had taken all of the Other-race Continent's wealth for hundreds of years.

Now, gold, silver, jewels, Source Fluid, Marrow Cleansing Fluid, essence blood, Martial Arts, and other treasures that were precious in the eyes of ordinary people held no value in their eyes.

So when the two Clan Chiefs announced that for the sake of war, they were willing to open their clan treasuries, the entire Alien Land erupted.

Everything that could be exchanged for military merits was half price!

The Source Fluid that originally cost 10,000 military merits could now be exchanged for only 5,000!

Furthermore, joining the army immediately granted military merits.

If one's Realm met the standard, there would be fixed generous rewards and benefits every week, also given for free!

This meant that the growth rate of the entire Other-race Continent would directly double.

How terrifying.

The clansmen of the Blood Clan and the Demon Race were bewildered.

Because their original benefits were directly cut in half.

But in the eyes of the two Clan Chiefs, they were merely ants and had no right to speak.

So, when the second and third strongest forces of the Other-race Continent stood in the center of the Other-race Continent and delivered this passionate speech, the entire Alien Land trembled incessantly.

The queues for enlistment and conscription were like long Dragons, and countless people who originally did not want to fight enthusiastically chose to go to the front lines.

A few more days passed.

Arthas and the Devil Emperor directed the public's opinion towards the Earth Goddess Alliance and Helden.

“Our great King!”

“Full-scale war is upon us, why have you not yet come forward to express your stance?”

“Our Demon Race and Blood Clan are participating with the full strength of our clans, determined to restore the prestige of our Other-race Continent.”

“As the King of the Other-race Continent, why do you remain silent?”

“Is this appropriate?”

Within the Earth Goddess Alliance.

Hara and Kong Fangxiang sat on the sofa, watching the continuously replaying speech on the electronic screen, their expressions somewhat grim.

Arthas's wide Blood Ancestor Divine Robe was like a shadow covering the sky, and even across the screen, the two felt suffocated by the pressure.

Several days of conscription speeches not only incited their own Galaxy King Alliance members, but even within the Earth Goddess Alliance, dissenting voices began to emerge.

“The Human Race is growing stronger, border skirmishes are escalating, and many people are dying every day.”

“Regardless of what conflicts we had with the Blood Clan and the Demon Race before, now they are opening their national treasuries, and they themselves are actively standing on the front lines, determined to win this war at all costs, to let the glory of the myriad races shine upon this star once more, and to protect the old, weak, women, and children in the rear from being killed.”

“And what about us? Why have we remained completely silent so far?”

“We are also a part of the myriad races!”

“Although we do not advocate war, since war is now unavoidable, I believe we should also contribute to the myriad races!”

Such voices became increasingly common within the Earth Goddess Alliance.

Hara was at his wits' end, not knowing what to do.

To say that Arthas and the Devil Emperor had malicious intentions?

At this time, such words, falling into the ears of the myriad races, would only make them think the Earth Goddess Alliance was too disgusting, a bunch of sour dogs. Others were speaking with tangible benefits, and you, with just your mouth, claimed they had malicious intentions?

He asked King Her, but King Her ignored him, telling him that he was the boss now, and King Her should listen to him, and not to ask about everything, as he was busy.

He knew this was a test from King Her, a necessary path to becoming a true religious leader.

But what exactly should he do?

Previously, the decision to actively attack the Galaxy King Alliance was made by King Her; he was merely the executor.

Now, King Her had completely washed his hands of it.

This moment of choice, where a single thought could affect countless lives, had completely fallen on his shoulders.

He finally understood how heavy the word “responsibility” was, suffocating him.

He also fully realized how great King Her truly was.

Kong Fangxiang's brows were tightly furrowed. He had received intelligence from the Human Race and already knew the current situation of Arthas and the Devil Emperor.

For the past thousand years, these two races had been quite cold-blooded and tyrannical. Now, such a drastic change suddenly occurring could not be because of the nonsense Arthas spoke, such as everyone's situation having reached its most dangerous moment.

There must be profit to be gained for the two to make such an abnormal decision, one that required such a huge cost.

But this was an open conspiracy...
